Disgrace of a company, deleted 12 years of data

I haven't been able to log in to my account since 15/07/2024, and password recovery doesn't work. It seems Runtastic has deleted my account without any reason or explanation with all my data since 2012.

It's a disgrace. I've been a loyal premium member since 2012. It used to be a great app when it was independent, but it has gone downhill since Adidas took over. I will never buy any adidas product again.

A shame how this company manage…

A shame how this company manage relationship with it's customer.

I bought a libra scale some years ago. Runstatic decided to stop the support of this device form one day to the other . Device paid more than 100€ can only measure my weight, and the only response we receive from what they call customer happiness, is , please read the conditions, this is our right... A shame , stay away from their product, applications and services

These mother fu*kers charged my PayPal…

These mother fu**ers charged my PayPal account 6 years after I cancelled my account. No way to dispute, email, or contact them for a refund. PayPal denied my dispute and simple stated I authorized the charge. PayPal is complicit in this fraud.

How do you cancel a subscription

How do you cancel a subscription, I’ve tried on many occasions to cancel my runtastic premium subscription but keep getting the error banner. I’m thinking of going to trading standards to see about my options!!!

It's a scam

It's a scam. They "renew" your "premium" membership without notice and then send you threatening demand letters for payment. They don't answer email or offer any way to unsubscribe. I've asked to cancel my "premium" membership three times and they just ignore it. They keep sending demands for payment.

Screwing customers over

Scam, they charge for premium and then they retire the app. Your money is lost and you cant use the app you paid for.

They suggest you buy another from them...

Muppets!

I have now received my order from this…

I have now received my order from this company and am satisfied. My previous comment about this company scamming people is withdrawn with apology. In hindsight, I over-reacted. Its a stressful time with CV19 and postal delays and I appreciate you must be understaffed right now. Sincerely, Lorraine

Avoid Adidas & Runtastic

I used Runtastic for mountain biking, fairly good app. Unfortunately, Adidas purchased the company and without warning they discontinued support for the paid app (which i purchased twice, once for iOS, another for android). Adidas clearly has no product loyalty and runtastic will simply be a waste of your money when they cancel your access to your paid app.

I unsubscribed from premium

I unsubscribed from premium, but was still showing premium status. I can't find any way to change this. I too have been getting the threatening emails and have ended up paying for 3 months with a view to just cutting my losses and leaving now. I noticed that it shows my membership until next year, no doubt the emails will start again. Dodgy.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam.

They’ve made me an account using my email address, I’ve never heard of this thing until yesterday when they told me I had to accept the new terms and conditions. That was the first email I’ve ever received from them.

I requested they delete my account and any data they have of me and they told me how but I need to confirm my email. The link to confirm my email does absolutely nothing, the hyperlink goes no where. So I can’t delete the account I didn’t make.

They obviously just took my email and added to their systems.

When the application works it is great…

When the application works it is great and the metrics are terrific. When it doesn't work it's down right ridiculous. I use the app to track road cycling, I have two circuits that I ride regularly. Yesterday on my iPhone, I had a "personal best" of a 1 mile split with a speed of 82.8 miles per hour. Impressive, right? When I signed on the the web site today, my split became 137 miles per hour. This coming from a 60+ year old guy with an artificial hip...

I've used it for 9 cycling session and 3 of them have one mile splits of greater than 50 miles per hour. Obviously a significant error.

This app is very polished but designed to extract lots of personal data for marketing.

This app is very polished. Works very well. It gives you your distance and pace every km. Brilliant. It's also designed to extract loads of personal information and advertise heavily to you. I am deleting my account because of all the people saying they have received unexpected demands for around £50 because of the terms and conditions. No thanks, I don't want to be harassed.

good app but worst customer experience

The app is good. But the way they treat their customers is unacceptable.

As an example one of the payment reminders they sent.

Just to note, I deactivated the autorenewal from my PayPal account that is why they could not charge me for autorenewal. That was the plan, to renew manually. And I am happy I deactivated the autorenewal. Under no circumstance, I want to use a product which uses such a tone in their e-mails to the customers.
