If you’re thinking about getting any treatment with them, I’d really recommend reading this before you go ahead.

I looked through the treatments on their website and decided to book the Alumier MD Advanced Bespoke Peel. During the consultation, Jessica told me that Spicule Bio-Microneedling (twice the price) would be better for treating my melasma, but that the peel would still be a good option. I stuck with my first choice and went ahead with the peel. For anyone who’s had a peel before, you’ll know it usually makes your skin peel a lot. To my surprise, nothing happened at all.

I emailed Jessica about this and she called me back, basically saying I should have gone for the treatment she suggested. Fine, but does that mean the peel I paid for doesn’t work at all? So I just wasted my money? It seems so.

When I asked to cancel my next appointment (which I’d already paid for), I was told the £100 deposit is non-refundable, even though the appointment was still three weeks away. When I said I didn’t know about this, I was told the information is on their website. But I booked in person, so how was I meant to know? I’ve never seen this kind of policy before and I honestly wouldn’t expect it.

So, if you’re considering this place, they are not transparent about treatments or about payments. There are plenty of great clinics in Newcastle and Gateshead, and you don’t need to deal with this kind of hassle.

(And to be honest, I can’t help but think most of the five-star reviews are from family or friends. They all sound the same.)

I want to clarify a few points regarding your response.

Yes, I booked my first appointment online, and I understand that a deposit is required for an initial booking. However, my complaint is about the second appointment I had scheduled for 2nd September (I emailed to cancel on 14/08/2025). I cancelled this appointment three weeks in advance, yet your policy does not allow for a refund of that deposit. This was never explained when booked in person at the clinic, and I only became aware of it afterwards.

As I mentioned, Jessica advised that another treatment would be better, but at no point was I told that the treatment I chose would have no effect at all. Leaving me feeling that I wasted both my time and money.

And no, I will not stay quiet. I am leaving this review because people deserve to know the truth before they spend their money. Businesses should not profit from misleading clients, and sharing my experience is the only way to prevent others from going through the same.

Informative professional staff. Staff are friendly and approachable and make you feel at ease. Rooms are clean and hygienic.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The clinic clean, and accessible .
Treatment program expensive for the results that you get. I was advised which treatment to get which was good.
I was advised of two treatments which would help me with loose skin.
I was measured before treatment started and month after treatment was finished.
The change was nothing in my eyes still had the same problem . Was told that if treatment didn’t work then they guarantee free sessions after.
After final measurements still looked the same, maybe lost inches but bearing in mind I train and run at a gym. The loose skin was no change at all and that was the reason I went for the treatment.

Advised that they believe there was a substantial change, which they have to contact their boss in another country.

Very disappointed with the outcome, would not advise the treatment. Very expensive for a non invasive treatment. Would just like to point out that no photos were sent to me to verify the outcome of the procedure. Before/ middle/ or after treatment. This is going of there word, the lady who completed the treatment also stated that loose skin was still visable and would discuss with manager that more was required.

This does not work, the posters that advertise this is very deceiving . Please don’t spend 2700.00.

Started EMSculpt Neo ‘cause I needed extra help with toning. The treatments felt like doing thousands of crunches while laying down. Seeing really good muscle definition now.

The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. They really take the time to speak WITH you (rather than just TO you) throughout your treatment, get to you know and make you feel relaxed. I have been to other places before and often get a 'cold shoulder' feel from staff- definitely not the case here.

RT Aesthetics were amazing! I had a consultation with Ryan that was both informative and in tune with what I wanted after being quite nervous about attending. We ended up with a treatment plan for myself and would say that they are very professional and discreet. Great service! Highly recommend!

I have been coming to RT Aesthetics for years, most recently for abdominal work. They offer a range of options and advise you on the best ones for the results you want. I am currently completing a fat freezing program with BTL Excilis treatment and the results are amazing. My lower abdomen is definitely tighter and my skin firmer. I’ve already booked up my next sessions which will use Emerald laser treatment. If you want help toning up without surgery, RT Aesthetics is for you. They will make you feel so welcome and really know their stuff.

A staff member changed their terms and conditions online mid text conversation with me after realising the policy they were trying to impose on me when I tried to reschedule a treatment (single treatments validity is 6 months) didn’t actually exist. After confronting them with screenshots of before and after, I was called by them several times and they apologised for it, insisting it was an external company who deals with their bookings and offered discounted treatments and free skincare which I was reluctant to do but I did initially agree to. Also as I had seen zero results from coolsculpting although I did only have 1 treatment, I was expecting at least some difference and then I read up about serious side effects of it which I didn’t realise so I chose emsculpt neo at a discounted rate as agreed until nearer the appointment time, I decided I’d rather actually not attend a dishonest salon. The other staff members were nice when I attended the clinic the one time but due to my experience after this with the dishonesty of who I liaised with via phone, I’d rather go to a more trusted place for my treatments even though it meant losing my £100 deposit.

I had an amazing experience at RT aesthetics. All the team were really friendly and informative. Corey carried out my treatments and made me feel so comfortable and was very knowledgeable. I am very happy with the results from my treatments and have seen significant changes since Cryolipolysis and Body Exilis. I think the price and quality of the treatments are great. Thank you again for my great experience 😊
