DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I recieved a damaged table. It was delivered on a saturday so I called them and they were closed. Their "white glove delivery" service told me to just take pictures and contact them on Monday. When I called then and emailed them pictures and a copy of the delivery statement showing that the table was damaged they refused to exchange the table or refund me the money, Terrible customer service. This is what you get for spending $2100 with a bad company!
I don't recommend purchasing with this…
I don't recommend purchasing with this company.
The items are incrementally less then can be found on similar websites with the same stock, but there are shipping delays, and customer service is rude and uncooperative
Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware! I do not recommend buying from this company. After waiting over four months for a dining table to be delivered, it arrived damaged. The delivery team reassured me several times, even calling their home office, that I should keep the table until an exchange could be made. No one is available on the weekends at Rouse Home to help confirm and later in the week I am told that I will not receive an exchange and they will not take the damaged table back as a return. The damage was noted by myself and the delivery team. I am left with a very expensive damaged table that I do not want. They uphold extreme return policies which are not the industry standard and the delivery companies don't seem to be aware of. Such practices are unprofessional.
don't buy here
we ordered an expensive piece from this company for Christmas. My husband didn't realize what it was and just put in under the tree. Honestly we wouldn't have opened it anyway because it was a Christmas present. He had ordered it as Christmas surprise because I sent him a picture of it and asked if he liked it, so he figured I liked it. He neglected to measure it and check the return policy (our fault) but seriously who has a 5 day return policy? And around Christmas too? If I had opened the box when it came rather than waiting for Christmas, I would have known I didn't like it because it was too small for our area and checked the return policy and sent it back. Which is what happened right after I opened it at Christmas, but we received it the 16th so at the 25th it was already past the 5 day return policy. I called and customer service said they would check with the manufacturer about any exception and she would call me back. 2 weeks later, no phone call, I called them and they said no exceptions. Well, Merry Christmas, ruined my Christmas present this year and will never buy from this company again.
Ordered the furniture
Ordered the furniture, and was told repeatedly that the item could be cancelled prior to shipment. The estimated ship date is 9/9/2019. When I contacted the seller to cancel out the order and give me the refund, the seller refused at first. Then after my insisting to cancel out, they said that I would be responsible for the restocking fee and the shipment fee. But the caveat is that the shipment was not even picked up on the day I notified them, it was then retroactively modified by their internal system to say the item was shipped. What a pleasant coincidence?
The seller said she could not expedite it and yet when I demand to cancel, they are able to somehow, somewhere, and miraculously expedite.
They wrote:
Since the item already left the warehouse, this order will be considered as a return. If you wish to return this item will issue a refund minus 20% restocking fee which is $478.18 and minus cost of shipping the item back to our warehouse which is $503.94, your account will be credited for $1,408.78 ($2,390.90 - $478.18 - $503.94)
Way to go to make $1,000 when they haven't even shipped out or picked up the item.
