we had our hotel cancelled on our last lads holiday and all i got was a email saing we had to book somewhere else i was angry because i felt a phone call would have been best as not everyone checks their mail, i called the hotel in spain and they said roomsnet hadnt paid for the room despite us paying like 5 months in advance.
was so angry but travelrepublic offered to match the roomsnet price and they were great so i now always use and would say

travelrepublic are MUCH MUCH better

we did not got the booked hotel (4 star), we booked for, got another one, but 1 month later I am still waiting for my money of the cancelled room, they keep promising.....

I always look for an easy way to find a hotel deal online and roomsnet served me just fine with that throughout all these years. I've booked my summer holiday with them in 2006, 2008, 2009 and came back to book it this year as well. Looking forward to stay at the hotel I booked with them, this August

Roomsnet took my moneyt, emailed me my prepaid voucher. When i shoved up at the hotel, i was told that roomsnet had cencel´d my reservation. I called roomsnet to get my money back, but they dont respond

Very poor service if a problem arises.
Having made a reservation more than three months earlier and having paid in full, Roomsnet cancelled our booking only a week before we we due to arrive - by email.
Despite speaking to their so-called customer services people they did not accept that this was in any way their fault (a dispute with the company that arranged the rooms)or that they were under any obligation to even try to arrange alternative accommodation or to compensate me for the inconvience.
Apparently the senior management at the company cannot be contacted by phone - so I was unable to take this up with anyone who might be in a position to do anything about this.
