Unprofessional

They asked us if we would assist them in inspecting work from one of their FENSA installers. Then they rearranged the appointment and didn't bother turning up on the second one- wasting our afternoon. when I contacted them they refused to even explain.

RISA Ltd has given us a great service

RISA Ltd has given us a great service. We used them to inspect our recently installed sliding door as we were not sure about the standards and the safety of the installation done by our contractor. Kiren Fennelly, the inspector from RISA who did the inspection was very thorough and produced an unbiased report for us to be presented to the installer. We also have very good on going advice on what to do going forward. His findings in the report in fact has now come to fruition as he predicted, i.e. the installation is showing signs of failure earlier than estimated. We continue to have post-report advice and support from Kieran which enables us to ensure that the contractor will undertake the remedial works to comply with the industry standards and making the installation safe and sound. Kieran is prompt in his responses to our emails and to the installers responses. He is very professional, friendly and competent in his job. I should also mention the admin support from Liz who is very professional and helpful with quick responses to queries. I highly recommend RISA to anyone who needs their services.

Thorough installation audit

From the outset RISA listened to my requirements and ensured that the inspection they were to undertake fully met my needs and expectations.
Dean was thorough in his review and provided a fair and honest appraisal and where I thought something was wrong took the time to explain. Likewise, where there were issues he explained how and why they had occurred.
Dean's report was thorough and where I required clarifications was able to provide an addendum.
If you need a window and door installation audit I would thoroughly recommend RISA

Have been waiting a month for someone…

Have been waiting a month for someone to respond to me over an inspection. I have sent them the information required but they are too ignorant to get back to me. Don't waste your time on this company. Thanks for nothing

Don't arrange RISA inspection Ltd

We had a dispute with a client where we have produced and supplied over 300 sash box windows.
after 2 years our client claimed that our windows do not open.
After our own investigation we have found inside the box nails from staples (from DPD fixing) and screws which were restricting moving of weights.
our client disputed findings and we decided to arrange "independent" inspection. So we called RISA inspection Ltd.
worst scenario I could not imagine. I thought the reason of non opening is obvious, but inspector checked only one window (he didn't had endoscope to check box inside) ignored all nails and screws and blamed that our boxes are too narrow! So to avoid legal expenses we agreed to fix 54 windows on our own. during remedial works we found even more - side plywood was nailed to led weights, screws from fixing brackets screwed into weight channel, cut cords, or even removed by installers sash weights at all!
most unprofessional installation haven't seen before.
But even worse, that independent inspector who we believed will confirm our innocence blamed against us!
when I wrote contest to RISA I have got no reaction from their authorities - only reply from inspector that it was not provided proper access to the windows and if our client agree they can come once again.
obviously our client stuck on previous report and have not agreed on reinspection.
