Always liked popping in to the little shop packed with items . The lady there was always helpful.
Now they have moved to South st bps stortford and yes its bigger and worth visiting but no lady but a man who appeared a little stressed

I just wanted to say that as a customer who enquired and dropped off my Shark Anti-wrap vacuum to Rickmores in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire on 9th April 2025 for a repair, they should have mentioned that just maybe I might have a guarantee with Shark! I wasted £25 unnecessarily and then they wanted a further £120 to just order a floorhead which costs £80 max. As it happens a new floorhead was sent to me from Shark which did not fix the problem as the vacuum had ceased completely, so £145 would have been a rip off because am sure Rickmores would have washed their hands of it. I telephone Shark in the first instance. Shark then sent me a brand new vacuum worth £299 (the equivalent) because they made me aware that they give customers 5 years guarantee and I had 2 years left (even though I bought it from Costco). Rickmores just want to make money from people instead of giving professional and honest advice. They should always recommend to the customer that they call the supplier first of whichever make, then they might not lose customers! I just want to save people the grief, thank God it was only £25 wasted.

Had my toaster repaired in august, but unfortunately it is now back in the workshop. After blowing all the electric. The same fault as before only been four months & being told that it’s in gaurentee if it’s the same part.
Well it’s the same fault so I hope they are using proper replacement parts. Been told it won’t be back before Xmas too
Really not impressed. They don’t even offer to loan you a replacement!!

Good trustworthy service

Great service as always. 4 days from order to delivery/installation. Given a one hour window so you don't have to wait around all day.

Usual good service, turned up as arranged, installed and took away cooker. Always helpful and polite.

Was served by a gentleman when they did not have what I wanted he spent time looking for what I needed which took time and he explained everything to me good and bad points will go back and recommend the shop to anyone

This was my 2nd big white purchase. I visited the shop to see the product I wanted the service in the shop was not very helpful to start with but got there eventually and placed my order with a delivery in 2 days delivery was on time and the guy who delivered was very helpful all round would shop again because of the shop being very local
