Richer Sounds - Chester Reviews 

I make a point to travel from wigan to the Chester branch because I have had nothing but excellent service from the guys there. I always get really good advice when I ring to speak to them and they always find me the best option within the price range that I am willing to spend. Hopefully I won't need to buy anything in the near future (I have just finished a major upgrade) but should something new come out that takes my fancy I won't hesitate to contact them.

Went into Richer sounds Chester for turntable and speakers, had a brand in mind but talking to the very knowledgeable sales team I changed my mind and bought a great entry level set up at a great price. On setting up the system I was stunned by the sound quality, deep rich bass tones with excellent clarity. Confession time I had bought a cheap system from Amazon before Christmas and was so disappointed in it that I have had to bin it, so I wanted the experience of talking to experts touching and hearing stuff. If your unsure what you need these are great people to talk to.

My parents wanted to replace an old 21" TV with something of similar size. At Chester there are no such TVs on display, but they had a small selection unseen and boxed and we agreed to take a 24" at less than £100 including a top up 6 year warranty. The TV was , for the price, fine except for the tinny sound which grated on the ears of my nonagenarian folks. Craig had said " if anything doesn't suit just bring it back". When we took it back, unboxed, Craig was absolutely true to his word, and said "I'll sort it later...what would you like to do". We upgraded to a 32" Philips....which brings us up to the mainstream TVs rather than the kitchen/caravan selection. This unit was also not on display in the shop and Craig repeated his words " if anything doesn't suit just bring it back". This one just fits the space and looks great. At less than £200 including an extended 6 year warranty this is perfect for my parents. No fuss and no paper-trail problems in making the change. Thank you to Richer Sounds for the way that you do business, and in particular to Craig for his advice and for making the whole thing work.

I have used Richer Sounds before visiting a localish shop. This time I phoned a central number and got diverted to a v helpful bloke in the Chester branch.
I discussed what i had in time and he suggested options of better spec TV from less popular makes. I took his advice and the Qled TV I got is excellent

Ewan was very helpful when I needed help making a decision about our TV without being pushy about the sale, it was reduced which was nice! When we went to pick the TV up we were helped to the car with it, which was a big help....many thanks.

The current range of TVs is huge in terms of size, technology and manufacturers. After much patient explaining from Joe I decided on the potential TV. The thing I liked is that I was given a quote valid for a week which held the price, just in case it went up.

Following up the quote was easy, I've got a year's interest free and the TV was delivered to me next working day.

The final bonus is that my partner is delighted with the TV too. Who'd have thought Philips ambilight could be so exciting.

I don't buy loads of equipment but everything I do buy I get from Richer Sounds. Even when the shop is busy somebody is there to help and give advice - everybody seems to know thier stuff and has a genuine interest in the products. The prices are always competetive and the 6 year warrantee is great. Love our new TV.

We had another query and he was most helpful in guiding us in the right direction. We have dealt with Richer Sounds numerous times and we will not use anybody else . Excellent customer service, had to wait a while for the TV I ordered to be back in stock but arrived very promptly when it was available. Also which was excellent was the price on the TV I ordered had reduced since I ordered it and Richer Sounds gave me a refund of the difference. Will definitely be always buying my TVs from Richer Sounds.

Have bought a number of products from RIcher Sounds in Chester over the years and have always been appreciative of their help and support. Just bought a new Sonos Arc Ultra as part of an upgrade and currently working with Ewan for getting the right Cambridge and Monitor sound system for the house. Always very helpful and have fantastic knowledge of the products they’re selling.

Living on the Welsh coast Chester is a few hours drive. I ordered a Marantz amplifier and CD player over the phone and it was held for me until I could get there a few days later. The guys helped me out and into the car with the boxes.
