Total Scam

Wish I'd seen this before. Cancelled a non delivered order in February, along with membership. Received an e-mail saying it was being dealt with in February. Followed it up with a cancellation letter ad refund request. No refund received and just found out they have taken a monthly subscription from me for March. £56 out of pocket to these thieves. Onto the Watchdog website to report these scammers.

TOTAL SCAM !!!!

I first placed an order on redsave for geli baff only costing £1.98 it arrived without a problem , i noticed then that i had started a 30 day free trial and after then i would be charged £20pm so i phoned up and canceled it - no problem so i then placed an order for a giant cupcake mold and 2x name a star gift sets (which were supposed to be mothers day presents) , i received the cupcake mold but the star gift sets never arrived after waiting over a week i called redsave and was told a replacement would be sent out , i waited another week and it never arrived so i phone again and was told that someone forgot to tick a box and my replacement had not been issued i was assured it would be done that day , another week past and still nothing , it had now been over a month since i placed the order so i phoned and told them i wanted a refund they agreed to this and said it would be done. its been a few weeks iv not received my refund , iv been trying to phone about 5 times a day and the phone is never answered i have also emailed them and had no responce ...i am very very annoyed!

No Star Rating - REDSAVE.COM

These people are cowboys...do not use!! There appears to be no mention of a monthly subscription offer in your basket and once you've ticked the t&c's (which lets face it no one really reads), you've signed up. There is no email confirming this and once the free trial is over they take £20 a month. Technically they are well within their rights to do this but they go about it in rather an underhand way....AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

A-V-O-I-D!!!

I googled this company because I had not received my goods after a month and read about the subscription. I checked my invoice and saw that I too had signed up inadvertently. I have cancelled it online but of course 30 days have gone by now. I have emailed them about this but there is no way to contact anyone apart from automated responses. I am stunned that this can go on.

Why has this company not been reported to Watchdog!!

I ordered 2 Ashcans over a month a go and spent over £30. I am still waiting for the goods and they have taken the money from my account. They do not answer the phone on the customer service contact number provided online and return all of my emails with an automated message. This company is a total sham and should be shut down. After reading all these terrible reviews I will be reporting them to watchdog for certain!!!!

Thieving bunch of B*****ds

I placed an order with this "seemingly legit" (google advertised i might ad) web page. I bought a silicon cake mould for £4.95 (the only price option). it arrived fine.
Fast forward 10 months and i have just noticed that they have been sneaking £19.95 out of my account on 7 occasions.
I have contacted them and they have played all innocent saying that i chose to purchase it at the "REDSAVE Pass" price- COMPLETE LIE.
I looked at how the page is laid out now and fair enough it does have two pay options with or without subscription to their pass club but it did not when i bought it nor was i given any indication when i went through the payment stages that i was signing up for a contract.
I gave no consent to sign up to a contract ( i would never have bought from them if id know i was being automatically signed up) and funnily enough i have not once received any emails from the company "reminding me" that i am a member. they basically take £19.95 out of your account every month expecting you not to notice.
These people have been investigated in the past and are nothing but a bunch of thieving con artists!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. AND ANYONE WHO HAS USED THIS COMPANY IN THE PAST CHECK YOU BANK STATEMENTS AND MAKE SURE AND CANCEL YOUR PASS. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS CRAP!

VERY VERY DISGUSTED

If I could give minus ratings I would, They do not reply to emails or pick up calls. I wanted a refund on my product and they gave me instructions on how to return the item but never returned my money!!! If anyone knows of an official channel/regulation board where I can complain to, please let me know. The only other company that has been this bad is The Voucher Shop!

Disgusted!

I cannot believe this company is still allowed to legally run!!
I am kicking myself for not checking them out prior to ordering but...
I ordered 2 items Dec 2011 and then got an email to say one of them was no longer in stock and they would send a replacement in colour of my choice.
They did this but in the wrong colour and missed off the other item!
I emailed and got a return label, returned it and awaited a refund...
2 months later and I'm still waiting after emailing and phoning with no luck!
Calling the bank to get my money back!

If I could choose no stars that would be my rating!

Like others I was totally duped and didn't realise it was a subscription site, I have only just noticed after checking my bank statement that I've been charged approx £20 for the past 4 months - something I can ill afford! TOTAL CON, DON'T GO THERE EVER EVER EVER!

5/5

I was expecting not to receive my parcel after the terrible reviews on here. However it came today and was spot-on. I do think though that the £20 a month for making one purchase was a dishonest touch but luckily i realised straight away and cancelled it.

would be nil!!!!

Bought a fancy dress from this company< emailed them to ask size but they didnt reply. As I was in a hurry I took a chance but when it arrived it was too small so I had to wear an alternative outfit. I sent the outfit back to them but have heard nothing!!! Today I went online and read some very upsetting reviews saying that this company continues deducting 19.95 from your bank as a monthly subscription. I looked at the website and could find no mention of this until reding terms and conditions and hidden well down on point 28 they say you will pay a subscription!! ( Who in their right minds would pay for an item and then continue paying a subscription to the company of nearly 20 quid!!!) On looking at my bank statements I realised that I too have been scammed!!! This should be stopped. There was seemingly a big article about this company in 2008 Max Walker & Rebecca Vowles own it. They were sued for exactly this and yet they are still doing it.... Amazing!!!!

Very bad online shopping site

I have ordered something from this website. When I received the delivery, it turned out that there was nothing in the box. It was empty. I couldn't believe my eyes. I emailed them. All
I got was they will look into it... If don't think this online shopping site does even deserve one star. This site deserves nothing apart from being banned and closed down.

Internet buyer beware, scam, scam scam!

I had to rate this company with one star or I could not post the review, given a choice the stars would have totalled zero. Anyone shopping on the internet should beware of this company. I accessed their site through a search engine where it was not obvious that they are a subscription site, you need to access their homepage to find this out. After 30 days, if you do not cancel, they start to automatically take payments from your account. This type of payment cannot be cancelled by your bank either. Unless you are very vigilant about checking your account regularly, you might miss it or overlook it for just long enough for them to make a good profit for doing nothing as they did in my case.

Having been duped like this, to my shame, as I am a regular internet shopper I made a complaint to the company and was advised that it was all legal and I WAS able to get the special deals through email and by accessing my account, the one I was at that time in the process of closing. Had the said email offers ever arrived in my email account I may have saved myself quite a bit of money by noticing what they were actually doing and cancelling earlier!

AVOID!!!!

Still awaiting a refund after 1 month. Products were shabby and also faulty. I did happen to read the small print and cancelled my subscription that month luckily and so far no money has been taken out of my bank, but with this company's reputation who knows?? I've had numerous e-mails from Scott who has told me to expect a refund in 3-5 days. However I'm not holding my breath. Absolutely appalling company, avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!

CON ARTISTS !!!! AVOID !!!

Received wrong item, and no communication to try and sort it out.

The only reason i managed to avoid the £20 a month subscription was because i returned to the website to complain about receiving the wrong item, then typing their name into google and seeing this page !!

Ask yourself a question, how many time do you actually read the small print when buying stuff online ? I didn't.

Its a wake up call, and a shame to see people taking vulnerable people self confidence away from buying online.

I would like to thump them in the face and i even havent really been stung like the rest of these chaps on here.

Avoid at all costs, spend a little more and get it right

I am still waiting for a refund after 10 weeks of repeatingly being told that its on its way by Scott of Redsave!! I think hes lying but he does seem very concerned when I ring that Its been 10 weeks and 15 telephone calls for my refund! I have passed all this information onto my solicitor now who will hopefully have better luck than me. If your considering buying from Redsave.com then DONT. They will take your money and if anything goes wrong with it then YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! AVOID REDSAVE.COM - DONT BE FOOLED BY THE LOW PRICES. PAY THE EXTRA AND BUY FROM A WELL KNOWN ONLINE COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!!

After many many emails and phone calls to Scott of Redsave.com who made promise after promise that I would get my refund in a few days - still I have had nothing! I cannot afford to loose £50 and will not give up until I have my money back! Im going to contact Watchdog - see if they can get my money back and to warn others about this terrible company!!

Its a trap!

Redsave appear to employ subtle techniques to get a way-overpriced subscription out of their visitors, quite legally too. (Although if you google redsave.com you'll see they've had trouble in the past particularly regarding their techniques).

Firstly, the concept is that you pay a subscription and get discounted products. Nobody would really pay nearly £20 / month to constantly buy the things they are selling (I wouldn't for any website, even ones I used a lot like eBay and Tesco). That concept wouldn't work. How it's working for them is people not realising they have to actually opt out or get AUTOMATICALLY billed each month, and neglecting to pick this up on credit card statements. And it's actually working quite well for them (again check Google). I don't usually fall for these things and I missed it completely (costly me around £45 for a £4.97 item).

Secondly, cheap items... really? I've been on their site and can normally find the items cheaper elsewhere. Some sections, like the Monitors section has completely outdated products. A 19 inch monitor for over £200 in 2011? 24 inch monitors are less now! The item I bought was a giant cup-cake mould. £4.97 on RedSave, found nearly 2 pages of cheaper ones on Google Shopping.

I think you're generally safer avoiding this bunch. Just do some research, some googling. It's surprising how many people miss the fact they've got to cancel that free trial, should make you think.......
