Emma-Louise at the Harrogate development has been so helpful, spending several hours with us last weekend to help us reach a decision. Thank you. Chris and Jo.

So far our experience has been excellent.
We are using Redrows part exchange scheme (after a very fair offer on our existing house) to purchase on the Gleaves View development (Daresbury Garden Village) and it is making the whole moving experience so straightforward and stress free.
Gabby, Olivia and Sophie, who we have dealt with so far, have all been very friendly, helpful, and answered all our multitude of questions quickly and professionally. We can’t thank them enough.

Darren from the after care team on The Grange at Yew Tree Park in Burscough has been fantastic when coming to sort out our snags. Nothing has been too much trouble and his work is to the highest standard. He's been very helpful when giving advice and has really gone the extra mile when it comes to making things right in our new home.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Redrow. What should have been a straightforward issue has turned into a frustrating and ongoing problem.
The boundary fence for my property has been installed in the wrong position and should never have been built like that in the first place. I even raised concerns about the fence position before it was constructed, yet this was ignored. It also does not match the drawings I was presented with at reservation or exchange. The correct boundary has since been confirmed by a surveyor, and the presence of a retaining wall makes the error even more obvious. This issue has been going on for 2½ years, long before the neighbours were even in.
It is shocking that part of my garden now falls within four other people’s gardens, which has created an ongoing confrontation. The neighbours understandably do not believe I should have access to my own garden via their properties, leaving me in an extremely difficult and unfair situation. Where boundaries were going to look the same walls were taken down and rebuilt to allow for a fence to be positioned closer/ on the wall.
Despite this being clearly identified, Redrow have refused to correct it. What’s most frustrating is their reasoning—they’ve claimed that moving the fence would present “health and safety” concerns. This feels completely contradictory given that the surrounding streets have been left with obvious trip hazards, which they’ve made no effort to address and they have built a fence exactly how they say they can’t. Redrow continue to rely on “health and safety” as an excuse rather than admitting that the real issue is the cost involved in putting things right.
To make matters worse, further in to the development where there are similar boundary arrangements, they have clearly changed their construction method for building the fences. This only highlights that my boundary was constructed incorrectly from the start.
Their customer care team initially acknowledged the issue and gave assurances that the fence would be moved. However, after repeated follow-ups, they’ve now gone back on those promises and are saying the work can’t be done. This lack of consistency and accountability is unacceptable. There has also been poor involvement and support from the customer care team, the managing director, and the construction team throughout this entire process.
Overall, the experience has been disappointing. Poor communication, broken promises, and a refusal to take responsibility have made what should have been a simple fix unnecessarily stressful. I expected far better from a developer of this size and reputation. Overall the build quality has been shocking, I’ve had 4 new front doors as well as 4 new back doors all because the quality is substandard with the product either bowing or delaminating. I’d addition there as been plug sockets missing in my house that have needed to be added later, plus sockets that spark or have cracked.
Substandard materials and I feel the worst is yet to be exposed the longer I live there.
7th Apr 26 -This issue is now with the NHOS for mediation.

The service from REDROW has been appalling , the moment you buy the house the customer service stops . The sale team do not communicate with the customer service team , a lot of broken promises prior to moving in takes the shine off the house move - 9 months later we just want to have nothing to do with Red row due to the lies and poor service
9 months plus to get basic snag lists complete ,9 months to fix serious build issues & defects for house, security issues with faulty doors and incomplete build work
The standard of build is very poor and rushed , take a drive around the estate at night and look at the brick work when under the spot lights, shocking
The company has more annual leave than any company I have come across, everyone seems to be on holiday or been sacked so can’t answer or reply , or simply avoid you
No accountability, & as soon as the problem becomes too big your passed to the next manager without a handover , where you have to explain all over again.
We have had 4 site managers come and go in the 9 months we have moved in , each one , proclaiming their not like the last, eventually they do not answer calls or texts or emails and you are left waiting weeks.
And told he or she was moved on ..
Combined, myself and my fiancé have spent over 9 weeks of days at home where we had to book leave for appointments for jobs, where contractors where not briefed correctly so could not complete the work , the wrong contractors turn up so could not do the job , arrive in the wrong order so they needed another contractor before being able to complete the works and the best one no one turns up at all !
The the standard and finish of their work is so poor, even your cow boy builder and rouge trader would winse.
Customer service managers, we are now on the 3rd , again each one acknowledging the poor service even paying a fee as compensation to time wasted, they come to your house , make comment agreeing how bad the finish is and too many have said It’s poor finish… they agree it’s a poor standard.
Daniel..Garry .. “ I shouldn’t say that really “
After 9 months of this, my partner and including many neighbours as they all facing similar 5 Star service , are sick to death of RED ROW DARESBURY GLEAVESVIEW
Most issues had they done the right standard ,first time they would not keep wasting their money (buy nice or buy twice )
Complete and utter incompetence and lack of care or accountability
Their fix it app , their shinny online portal to log issues , they have a time limit to respond , they just delete them or say resolved having never completed the job or spoke to you on the phone or asked what the issue is , also log as waiting on contractor which takes the responsibility off Red row and then your waiting months … for simple jobs
It’s boring listening to the lies the Bs it’s all waffle and we all have careers where we be sacked for such waffle
Simple jobs taking over nine months to complete
Builders arriving without parts to do the job
Ordering wrong parts
Building work left incomplete
Contractors not showing up and you booked time off work … over 9 weeks between me and my partner of Red row appointments … missed or unable to compete the job or have to return due to poor standard . Then no timeline
to add insult to injury they continue to build more houses and complete them in the time it’s taken to finish the poor standard of work on our existing home
Wiring a mess when you start changing light switches and see what’s behind the scene
Tiles and build work not complete
No wall or ceiling level or straight
Door frame out of plumb , doors jamming
Plastic doors warping in the sun , but only offer to replace like for like , Same issues again
Fence in the garden insecure and put together with temp fixing , poorly constructed
Mountains of rubble in the garden
Leaks and more leaks due to poor workmanship or blocked pipes due to workers leaving tools or rubbish which end up in pipes and drains , not checked before moving in
Heat pumps in each house not set up correctly , different settings on each home , so residents have to all gather together to pay external company to help set up the heating as bills over (£260-300) a month in electricity due to poor instillation set up
Then under floor heating blocked and still ongoing issue after 9 months
The list goes on and on , no emails replied too in a timely manner or at all , or even acknowledged with an update or an answer so your left guessing and chasing , customer service all sharing the same email account , so no one willing to take ownership or pass on a message, and avoid the inbox of angry customers I’m sure
Complete and utter cluster F(k
As REDRow keeps wasting our time
I will highlight the problems until someone resolves the matter , already missed numerous deadlines and at this stage Red Row north west is either unable to do the job or avoiding , or have so many houses with faults cant handle it .

From reserving the house in May last year we moved into our new house at Royal Gardens Worcester late November last year and the journey from reserving into moving in was excellent. Donna was very patient, welcoming and helpful and kept us informed all along the way. Due to us living some distance away from the new house Richard the site manager gave us his contact details and said we could call him about any queries regarding the progress of the house. Once we had moved in there were a few issues/snags which on the whole were dealt with quite quickly and satisfactorily.
Basically the only issue that has not been dealt with quickly is due to outside contractors.
Shortly after we moved in we had an incident which was our fault and we contacted Richard who immediately sent out John (who was great and very helpful) to resolve the issue which was very much appreciated as this is a very busy site. The house was ready almost to the day they estimated and the move went very smoothly. We love the house and its location on the site plus its warmth (the underfloor heating is fab). Overall we have been very happy with our Redrow experience.

Just visited Matt at Arden Fields, Bulkington. He was a lovely guy, gave us lots of time, really thorough and informative. All round great expertise. Thanks Matt.

We have visited the show house at Windmill Court East Bridgford Notts several times and have found that Michael the sales manager has been extremely helpful.
The show houses are beautifully presented and Michael has regularly kept us informed of the availability to the 2 properties we are interested in.

I had a seamless and genuinely enjoyable experience purchasing my first home, thanks to Georgia at Blossom Park. From the very beginning, she clearly explained each step of the process, which made what could have been overwhelming feel straightforward and manageable.
Georgia’s bubbly personality and positive energy made the entire journey feel exciting rather than stressful. She was always approachable, patient, and happy to answer any questions I had, no matter how small.
I truly felt supported throughout the whole process and would highly recommend anyday.

The Redrow team in Chester, particularly Olivia Caci, were excellent. From the very start of the process when we were initially considering a property on the Kings Moat Development, Olivia was patient and took so much time explaining the process, the development plan and the house plans. She took the time to talk through all the fine details and helped us throughout including finding other close by developments which had a show home for our selected house. We were able to communicate easily about decisions and come in to look at different options we were selecting, never feeling rushed to choose anything. Olivia went above and beyond to enquire about a custom change we wanted and secured this for us in time for us to add it to the build.
Unfortunately we had to pull out due to my role relocating me and the family but if this did not happen we would have continued our journey with purchasing a Redrow home.
Thank you to the Redrow Chester team for your support and guidance in the process.

Living on amington garden village Tamworth for the last 3 years, I'm,along with many others disappointed by the ground works that are been carried out on the estate, as far as I'm aware this site has been running for 7 years, and I think they are on there final faze.
There has been work carried out on street lighting where they are using the power from one street light on one side of the road, and install a new one on the other, my complaint here is, the way this has been carried out by sub contractors,it is appalling they have not taken any care about retarmacing where they have dug up footpaths it looks shabby to say the least, for a new development estate, it resembles a patchwork quilt for the amount of dig ups that been done.

The dedication from the sales team, so helpful and understanding. The quality of the property and the after sales with the limited snags we had they were very helpful and proactive in sorting anything we needed. Everyone friendly never feeling you were being overlooked. Shout out to Olivia, Nicola and Danny.
