Be very careful if you choose to use this company - I booked a Theatre and Restaurant experience in London for my son and his partner. But when trying to redeem the experience and try to book a venue the emails received from Red Letter Days are not fit for purpose and do not offer any way to make a booking? The disturbing bit is the phone number they have given in their mails is longer in operation. The email they have given is no longer in operation? Well now the Alarm bells are ringing. I have raised a complaint and they closed it unilaterally - unbelievable! I raised a 2nd complaint and still waiting to hear. I have now raised the issue to Resolver - waiting to hear. I will continue to escalate if the response is not forthcoming. I will raise it to the ombudsman as well if Redletterdays continue to be unhelpful, unresponsive and frankly uncaring

What an awful experience we had with this company. We tried to redeem a voucher to use at Inamo. First of all we couldn't book the restaurant through the website as it kept freezing. Went through Red Letter Days help facility which was just awful just the typical dreadfully useless AI which was clueless. Eventually got through to a human (email) who was not much better and after going back and forth for half an hour we eventually got told to book the table direct. Would never recommend using this company to anybody just book direct.

Booked truck experience and paid extra for circuit. Checked in and given another location to drive to, no one was there to meet us, assumed at the wrong place so asked around but no one had heard of experience. Finally met instructor who was friendly but never driven a truck before.

Very good service. The physical voucher arrived when promised, in a very nice presentation box.
Overall, extremely pleased.

It had a personal touch, we were looked after well by the team and Chef Kumar was pretty engaging and you get plenty of food. The booking process was a little bit convoluted and it took several attempts to sort out the booking first through red letter days who then had to forward the Hotel number who then forwarded another number at the hotel.
Overall the experience was great just the getting there was difficult.

I received a voucher for a brewery tour but my attempts to book have got nowhere as they say there are no slots available on any day in any month . They obviously sold more vouchers than they had capacity

Just updated the reivew to 1 star.
Having spent ages online with support they eventually told me to book direct with Hawkestone. What a waste of time and effort.
I have a voucher for a Hawkstone Brewery tour, but I can not book the tour until after the voucher expires and they want £20 to exetend it, yet on the Hawkstone site there is loads of availibility this week!
I can not speak to anyone and I feel like it's a big con. Can someone from Red Letter contact me please.

Organisation was good. However, you should be more upfront about additional add on costs. My son paid £70 to drive a supposed GT40 at Elvington (I will come back to that). When booking it was an additional £30 for damage insurance, and £40 for a single warm up lap plus there were charges for on track photos and videos which I did not bother with.
Coming back to the car, it was a poorly made and maintained kit car that that was slow and had a gearbox that was horrendous to fathom what gear you might be in. It needs retiring from the fleet. But, perhaps the worst thing was you were more bothered about the car spinning than the safety of the driver. Quote/unquote “don’t bother with the seatbelt, it doesn’t work any way.

The purchasing of tickets was easy and I had to change dates etc all great service done easily no problem .The day its self was at Didcot railway museum , we didnt get a map of place to start with , we just wandered , we had coffee and cake included in our ticket the staff in restaurant were quite abrupt to be honest, the trains were great kids loved them .There was an event brick/ lego day which sounded great but it wasnt the best to be honest , most places with steam trains we visit more than once here we won't

Had afternoon tea as a xmas gift at Bagden Hall. Arrived in the middle of a downpour, but this didn't take anything away from the lovely drive up to the Hall and it's splendid surroundings. Staff were both friendly and attentive and the room we had our afternoon tea in had lovely decor. We were served promptly. Food looked and was delicious, with offers of more tea if needed. A pleasant afternoon that was slightly spoiled by the amount of flies in the room, that we had to keep waving away from our food.
Would we go again, most definitely.

Likhona who I dealt with was very patient in dealing with my problem of not being able to check availability for my Murder Mystery Journey. When her system could not provide the information she provided me with Belmond's telephone number to check availability. Likhona stayed online whilst I spoke to a Belmond representative. When I was informed by Belmond that there was no availability for 2026, Likhona was still on the line to advise me of my options to extend my Voucher. She waited whilst I dithered to decide what to do and then talked me through how to implement the option I decided on. I have never previously encountered a person staying on the line for that long. Thank you Likhona

Bought for my grandson. It will be a great experience for his first time driving. Cannot comment on booking process as he has not booked yet

A very good experience, but had to deal direct with hotel as I found difficulty in communicating with Red Letter direct.

this is a scam website, they give you an "expiry date" for your vouchers however they don't give you any further information or notification. when the voucher expires they keep the money and refuse to refund or even to use the balance to book another voucher. fraudolent activities. They keep the money and say that there's nothing they can do. They kept more than £100 and refuse to do anything about it other than keeping them. imagine how many hundreds of people are in a similar situation and how many THOUSANDS of pounds they make because of this fraudolent method. STAY AWAY from this website and company. they have very poor trading standards. They also made booking and redeeming vouchers extremely complicated and encourage people to top up their vouchers with extra money. When i tried to book an event/experience it was overly complicated and there was no availability of events.
