Will not recommend Red Balloon anymore because of Andrew and their practices.
I began liking RedBalloon for what it stood for; freedom in the workplace. I think the main person Andrew - well, success has got to his head. I've literally had negative experiences and spoke directly with representatives at RedBalloon and how there were real people that "filtered" my submissions. I know this personally because I spoke to the liason from some of the companies personally who let me know my qualifications were great, but "someone" at Red Balloon blocked my app from getting to them. When I inquired, the rep at R.B. didn't have an answer and agreed with me. I reached out to Andrew and asked. Well, surprise surprise, he saw my question both in email and LinkedIn - and NEVER responded. It's a shame that people like Andrew feel to join the "elite" minded and not lower himself to help and address what is a very real issue. He has conveyed his persona to be a stuck up, non-caring success-driven, sell his soul type of person. Again, it's a shame. I pushed Red Balloon for quite a while until I learned what they're doing behind the scenes, having people filter and censor whoever they "feel" to. That goes to the direction of when ppl get in FB jail for saying the wrong thing.
