A terrible company. Paid Gold Plus Insurance plus medical condition as I am type 1 diabetic. Had been recommended for the Libre 2 plus sensors which last 2 weeks and are registered to my phone. Saving... See more

cancellation due to bereavement
Having had to cancel our holiday within 24 hrs due to family bereavement.
I contacted AllClear and was passed over to Reactive claims we spoke to the claims team a couple of times, I received all necessary paperwork and it was was explained in a sympathetic, knowledgeable and efficient manner what documentation would be needed to proceed with the claim.
I cannot thank the claims teams enough for been so sensitive and understanding of my situation.
I was going through such a sad time and the claims teams from start to finish made my claim hassle free
Thank you again.
You bought multitrip.com but will get these guys
They keep trying every trick possible to avoid making pay out. Including delayed replies to emails and asking for evidence already provided.
I bought from multitrip.com but never knew these guys were the claim handlers. October 23 to January 24 and still not claim payment
Atrocious people.
Terrible Claims Process
I purchased a travel ins policy from Multrip.com, who employ reactiveclaims.com to handle claim admin. The reactiveclaims.com process is cumbersome and bureaucratic, there are unnecessary hoops to jump, which incurs additional claimant cost. The process feels weighted to deter customers from pursuing genuine claims to a financial settlement. I will never buy a Multitrip, com policy again because of my reactiveclaims.com customer experience.
Not to be recommended!
1. Misleading website - they show a picture of a property in Medstead (Near Alton Hampshire) as being their offices. As we live near there I (misguidedly) thought it would be simpler to turn up there with the documents they needed. WRONG.
- They do not have any offices there, and there appears to be nowhere you can visit in person
- You cannot just hand over the documents, they have to be presented in a specific format and emailed to them.
2. They try to wriggle out of paying what they should. Our policy had an excess of £250, but only £15 for Loss of Deposit. They initially only paid out based on the £250 being forfeited, and we had a real battle to get the extra £501 repaid
3. I do not know whether they are appointed by AllClear, but if they are I think AllClear should look somewhere else for a Claims Handler
This appalling company rejected claims…
This appalling company rejected claims for insurance payput which the vendor of the travel policy, multitrip.com have agreed we are entitled to, after my husand suffered a heart attack in france (they are so inept that have only paid half the hospital daily charges and owe us for alternative accommodation and cancellation of forward bookings). They are little better than greedy fraudsters. I plan to complian to the ombudsman and take out a claim against them in the small claims court if they do not settle our full claim.
Shocking experience- DO NOT USE
Shocking experience. My claim is being bounced from agent to agent with them all requesting the SAME docs which I submitted with my original claim. It has been three months since I submitted my original claim and no progress. Absolute disgrace.
Beware of who’s handling your claim.
Still waiting for a refund after putting a claim in May 2023
Very annoyed you pay for travel insurance with Insure and Go and they use a shoddy firm.
Initial delay then smooth progress
After an initial delay during which Reactive insisted on providing a full report from his GP on the occasion of my brother-in-law's unexpected death, my own insurance broker managed the entire process to a successful conclusion. My limited involvement gave me no reason to suspect that Reactive were anything other than prompt and efficient.
Avoid at all costs
Had to claim through reactive claims after my step-father had a stroke and so my mum and him could no longer travel abroad with us. We only claimed for the flights and parking and decided against claiming for their share of the accommodation as it was a shared villa. Reactive claims refused to accept hospital notes and insisted on us paying for a GP letter to confirm the stroke. They refused to pay for the parking and took 2 lots of excess payments - one for mum and one for my step-dad despite it being a joint policy. AVOID at all costs.

They misread my claim for insurance and have since ignored multiple emails.
Better to not use this company
Incredibly slow
I have been helping a family member with his travel insurance claim. He is insured with All Clear but unfortunately they have outsourced claims to this shambles of a company. It has taken 6 months so far, and we are still not settled even though they have everything they need. Everything is very slow. I have given two stars because at least they do usually reply to emails and people do seem to want try to help, but there is something very wrong with this organisation which results in unnecessary delays and some confusion about what is right under their noses.

Sent Reactive Claims an email that the company examining the claim had approved it. Asked them to let me know when I could expect my payment.
Only receiving automated email and no answer to my question

Only wished that I had read other poor reviews of this company before taking out a policy with these
I can not understand how they expect to take on new customers with such poor reviews and I have already warned many people friends and family not to use these , and I am now warning others on here to avoid these at all costs
The way they have handled my bonafide claim is nothing short of disgusting , asking for many weeks for extra information only to overlook this information completely when making their pathetic offer , which leads me to think that it was just a stalking technique which has had me wasting many hours
Please as a warning , do not use this company and even when purchasing through multi trip.com or any comparison websites , please check if these are the claim handlers as the insurance is simply not worth having … go with a reputable company who cares about their customers and actually pay out on what you think you have covered
Travel isurance claim
I can only speak as I find. I had to cancel a holiday due to an accident which left me with a broken leg. Reactive claims were very efficient in the way they handled my claim. They showed me every courtesy when I rang for advice
Absolutely terrible company to have to…
Absolutely terrible company to have to deal with. We are still waiting to hear back from our claim after three months. Every two weeks they email me asking for something which I send straight away. Then, two weeks later, they ask for something else which I forward on. This is happening every two weeks now! I had already sent them all info asked for on their claim form but they insist on more evidence. I'm surprised that they haven't lost their licence to trade if I am honest but if everyone complains to the ombudsman, maybe they will?? Problem is that when you buy these policies online via compare websites, the company you buy from will also subcontract all the admin to Reactive Claims to deal with it as well. I am going direct with a big name next time for my travel insurance next time and paying the extra. It is so worth it.
Awful company
Awful company! Fraudsters I would say. Terrible customer service and not honouring any legitimate travel insurance claim.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Con artists
The con-artists will look for every loophole to avoid paying out. Steer clear of this Dick Turpin company
Immoral company that should be struck off.
It is interesting that Reactive Claims do not reply to any reviews either good (very few) or bad (majority. This says it all; they are not bothered what customers think or say about just want to rip them off by not paying claims.

I thought my annual travel with All Clear was a good investment given their trust pilot ratings, BUT they out-source to Reactive whose whole process screams “ let’s avoid any payment “
All Clear should be upfront about their relationship with this poorly rated company. I cancelled my All Clear insurance as a result !
Their 74% one star reviews says it all
Their 74% one star reviews says it all. Take out travel insurance with Go2 (another company to avoid- see separate report) and you think you have a contract with them; wrong, make a claim and suddenly you have to deal with Reactive Claims who try everything to avoid paying you and, when they settle after many weeks pay you £289+ against a claim of £750+. Each of these two companies say my complaint is with the other so, as a mere mortal one doesn’t know where to go. Right, so two companies to deal with until you say you are referring this matter to the Financial Services Ombudsman when suddenly you are told ‘no, if you are complaining to the FSO, your argument is with a third company, Euroins AD’, who have no mention during my complaints with the first two companies. If I hire a builder to do some work on my house and a sub contractor makes a mess of some of the work, then my redress is with the original builder who I signed a contact with-not the sub contractor. With regards to insurance it would appear that you’re not allowed to know who your contact is with! Please avoid these two companies who are happy to take one’s money but do not like paying out and will quote anything to avoid it. Part of my claim was for an iPad which these companies claim are a computer (despite evidence from Apple that they are definitely not) and are therefore classed differently to ‘individual items’ and therefore you receive less.
