Sam was great was in and out after the…

Sam was great was in and out after the decision was made with what I wanted to purchase. Would definitely work with Sam again especially after I was being stared down and simi watched by the other sales guys in this location who don’t know how to recognize a great sale before point of purchase. They can learn some new pointers on never judge a book by the cover.

Very poor delivery experience

This is for the South Philadelphia store. The sales experience and my salesman were great. That's why they get at least 2 stars. Delivery was awful. I scheduled my delivery for the afternoon, they were going to bring the new sofa and take away my old one. My window was 2:30pm - 7:30pm, I took a half-day at work to be home and prep for a smooth delivery. At 7:05pm I called to ask what the status was, I was told the driver was at the store picking up my sofa and would be at my house in 20 min. At 8:05pm I received a call from the store telling me the sofa could not be delivered because it was'nt at the store when the driver arrived to pick it up. (wait, what?) The young lady said it would be delivered the next day, I told her it would have to be in the afternoon after I got off work, she said she would arrange it. 8:18am I got an email with a tracking link saying the driver was 8 min from my house. I tried calling the store but they don't open til 10am. I called the delivery service but no answer. 10 min later the delivery service called back saying they did not have a driver coming, they were never contacted by the store. 10 min after that I got a call from the driver saying he was at my house. (it was a different delivery service) I explain the situation to him, he said he was not given any of that info...he did'nt know it was supposed to be an afternoon delivery or that he was taking away the old sofa. He said he would speak to the store, I asked him to have them give me a call. They never did. I called them at 10:30am, the young lady I spoke with did not have any information about any of this, even after putting me on hold to "speak with the store manager", she treated it like she was just arranging delivery for my new purchase. At this point it was apparent to me that they had no clue what they were doing, their communication and organization were non-existent, and it felt like they really did'nt give a fcuk. I asked for the purchase to be canceled and the charge refunded to my card.

Replacement part

I had a recliner looked at in April for a balance issue. The tech told me it would be 2-12 weeks for a replacement part to come in. After not hearing anything for 3 months, I stopped in the store to inquire. Amanda took the time to figure out what had happened and apologized for the delay. She was very friendly and efficient. It may take till the end of this month to get the part needed, and I appreciated Amanda’s assistance with this.

Inefficient Online Ordering Experience - Time Wasted

I am not one to leave a bad review, but this experience was thoroughly disappointing. The root of the issue is that your website allows you to select a pick-up date when placing an in store pick-up order. I placed my order online on 7/8/2026. I paid for my order and selected 7/15/2026 as my pick up date. When I showed up to the Raymour & Flanigan Outlet store in West Springfield on 7/15, my order was not there. The employee that I spoke to in the store on 7/15 admitted that the online system is outdated, and that this needs to be fixed. (I am not blaming the employee for this, this is a corporate issue) I have to wait to "receive a text to know my order is ready to be picked up". I was completely unaware of this fact, as it is also not mentioned in any of the email correspondence I received from Raymour & Flanigan. I am unsure why I was allowed to select a pick up date, if that meant nothing. Therefore, I left work to facilitate this pick-up on 7/15 along with coordinating with another individual that drove there with their pickup truck to assist with the pick-up. This inefficient online ordering process caused a miscommunication that wasted multiple peoples' time and resources. Now I have paid for a dresser and I am moving residences on 7/18, yet I have no confident expectation of a timeline as to when I will receive it. I am very frustrated, and based on this experience, I would not order again from Raymour & Flanigan Outlet.

Please avoid at all costs

Please avoid at all costs. Its incredibly sad how far this company has fallen. I ordered a vanity set off of their official site over a week in advance to be delivered the day before my wife's birthday. I assumed that since I had a selected a local store it would be coming from them. (Misleading). The DAY of delivery i get an automated text saying "unfortunately item not delivered call local store". I do. They have the item in stock, but it doesn't come from them. The employee tells me flat out its not an invtory issue, its the computer, you need to call or come in if you ever want to make an online order. In his words " No one cares about your stuff unless someone is getting a comission". So now I have to wait three more days at least. Had to take the day off or work, and the present misses my wife's birthday. Heartless company. Never shop here.
