Chris was great. He did an extremely thorough pre-sale inspection of our house, communicated very clearly on every issue he found, took the time to explain each issue and gave excellent advice as to how to remedy anything potentially problematic. He is very professional, friendly and a delight to deal with. Highly recommend his and Rapid Building's services.

I just got my Building Inspection for a property that I just purchased.  I have to give feedback on what I think is a thoroughly confusing and expensive report.  Honestly, I think I need a lawyer to read the darn thing.  Its all couched in legalese that appears protects the company itself more than providing a viable report for the user.  Among other things, the inspector did not look into the roofing area because it was apparently too small.  Was unwilling to see if the AC system was operative. Took some pics. Would not brief me personally about what he saw/observed and simply said ‘read the report’. He was in the unit for 15 minutes and then I get sent a report I doubt he even understands!  All this for $470!  I feel somewhat cheated to be totally frank with you.

Did not fulfil the one request I’d asked David for.
As a widow on one income I took a shorter shift at work so I could be there only to be told by inspector he would NOT address my issues first as requested rather spent the hour I was on break inspecting a fence and grass area I was NOT interested in and as the OWNER was just trying to get clarity on ONE particular issue which I confirmed with David days PRIOR.
Total waste of time and money
Report is not clear
All over the place and does not specify specific areas.
Have had over 20 reports done over my years and this company is by far the worst!
Then when you try to contact them about not specifying areas or rooms they do not reply.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!
Inspector even had the hide to request previous report be sent to him from another company which I wanted more info from Rapid on ONE particular area.
Foolishly I obliged yet STILL was not provided with a details of the SPECIFIC area I asked to be inspected!
AND THE REPLY FROM YOUR COMPANY IS FALSE ON ALL LEVELS.
I am more than happy to have a full report that’s what I paid for. WHAT I wanted and requested was the EXACT LOCATION of the noted pest damage.
I appreciate my 40 year old house has many issues as to why I wanted a complete report.
This is NOT the issue and the reference you are trying to make is a form a defamation!!!!
At no time have I wanted an incomplete or bias report!!! How ridiculous of an accusation considering I want to know exactly what I need to fix!!!!
This is gaslighting in its purest form.
I paid 600 and spoke to David via phone and email asking for the inspector to focus on where the damage is and provide the EXACT location.

Very thorough, fast and had great communication. Would recommend!

I contacted 3 businesses for an inspection . David’s response was rapid and thorough and I felt my questions were all answered . Information on the BAL rating was provided and he directed me to where I find this out .
Lots of communication and the thorough report sent through within 24 hours .

We had Rick go through a property for us in North Lakes, he was amazing and very thorough and made us feel confident to go forward with the purchase with a minor list of things he recommend to get fixed to keep the house in good condition.

Really appreciated the swift communications, availability to book in the inspection within a day or so, and quick turn around of report! Thank you!

Mark was promptly on time, very amenable and happy to chat about our concerns with the property prior to undertaking his inspection. His debrief following the inspection was thorough and detailed, as was his written report and we were very pleased with the whole experience. We would be very happy to use RBI again, and have already recommended them to others!

Fast response and reporting

Very quick to call back and arrange the building inspection (within 5mins of leaving a message) and made allnthe arrangements with the estate agent. Got a phone call from the inspector summarising what he found once the inspection was completed and the completed report was sent shortly after. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Cannot recommend highly enough
