Customer service
Customer service are totally inept and incompetent.
Can't even desifer basic written English or numbers.
Perhaps they need to employ a more literate and competent calibre of staff
Raisin long on aggressive marketing, but woefully short in so-called customer support.
Previously I had funneled a LOT of money to Raisin marked for interest earning instruments.
On February 4, 2026, I emailed so-called customer support and explicitly wrote that I wanted the 2025 tax year 1099 form MAILED to my address of record.
Subsequently, I received an email saying the form could not be mailed before 2-15-26. Huh?
Next, circa 2-20-26 I emailed 'support' and asked when my 1099 was mailed out. It took several days to receive a response.
Then, another email from support saying I'd earlier been given incorrect information. Whereas, the 'story' now was that it would take up to 15 days post-2-15-26 before the 1099 could be mailed. And then circa another 10 'business days' before it'd arrive in my mailing address, the latter by way of USPS snail mail. Too, as of 2-26-26 support's emailed disclosure the 1099 form still had not even be mailed.
Thence, I emailed and asked that the 1099 be emailed to me as a PDF. Only to be told Raisin would not do that due to alleged 'security concerns,' More lame excuses.
Now do you think given the total mess Raisin had made of this matter it'd at least be accommodated by sending the 1099 via an available form of expedited delivery? Of course not!
Raisin is ever aggressive when it seeks new deposited money from consumers. But when it comes to fulfilling adequately and competently even the most simple customer requests, forget about it.
In short, avoid doing any business with Raisin.
Slowest support ever seen
Limited customer service hours. Tickets and inquiries are slow to process. Validating new bank accounts takes five days (far too long), generally very slow. Frequent interest rate reductions with little notice.
--+++-+-++++++---------
My Experience Has Been Fine
I've moved enough big chunks of money to and from this site to become confident that it is legitimate. My local bank doesn't bat an eye moving money there and any incidental talk with my local bankers on Raisin seems to reinforce that it is a legitimate site they are very well aware of.
The site is straightforward enough. The security measures have not been overbearing. Raisin is good as a one stop shop to get 99% of the interest out there without having to open accounts at endless banks shopping for the best rate and it is an easy way to consolidate tax forms on your interest earned.
If you open accounts at credit unions, you will get monthly paper notices through the mail which is annoying and which you can't seem to opt out of, even if you have only $0 to $5 in that account. Small drawback.
Opened an account / ACH not supported
Opened an account, then used that account to pay my taxes by ACH. A week later I am notified that the ACH was refused, and then learned that these accounts DO NOT SUPPORT ACH or any other payment activities. The pages selling this bank didn't mention this, and now I'm faced with penalties. Totally misrepresented themselves.
Been here since the days of Savebetter
Reliable service and among the highest savings rates on the Internet.
AVOID
Awful. Awful complex website with constant pop ups, incredibly slow and protracted to withdraw money. You do not have the same protection from the Ombudsman service as you would if you saved directly with the bank as The Ombudsman does not supervise them in the same way. When they are slow returning your money at zero interest, there's not much you can do!

Great place for your Savings
Ease of use. Everything well explained all the way through. A savings term to suit your needs and the best rates available for that term. Highly recommend using Raisin.
Great savings rates
Great savings rates. Great website. Very easy to manage your money.
Still Not Fixed – Extremely Poor Service from Raisin Bank
I’m now beyond frustrated. The issues with Raisin Bank are still not fixed.
Their app and website won’t recognise my sort code, meaning I can’t update my nominated bank account. My chat messages have gone unanswered for days. When I called, one agent cut me off, and the next gave me an incredibly complicated process just to change simple account details.
Despite all of this, the problem remains unresolved.
This has been a terrible experience from start to finish, and I won’t be trusting Raisin Bank with my savings again.
Easy process
Impossible to change your nominated bank account
Most of what Raisin does is great - you get a terrific range of accounts and good interest rates. Unfortunately there is one big flaw - it is at present, impossible to change your nominated bank account. I switched banks and then tried to change the nominated account - the first part of the process is that you are supposed to receive an email with a verification link, but it did not arrive. As my email account is linked to my business website, I called my web designer and he told me the message had bounced for no discernible reason. I phoned Customer Services, who created a ticket number and said they would ask their tech team to look into it. After the customer services call had ended, I did get an email about that so there wasn't an issue with receiving emails from Raisin, per se. One week later and I'd heard absolutely nothing. I decided to take my own action, and I changed my email on the account; this worked in so far as, I received emails verifying the address and another saying I had successfully updated the address. I then cancelled the original bank account change request and started a new one, at which point an email should have gone to the new address but yes, you've guessed it, it did not work. Having spoken to my web guy again, he looked further into the bounced emails and discovered the sending email address, which is uk-info AT Raisin, has a spam score of 6. This is very high - most web servers will reject anything higher than five. This makes Raisin totally unworkable, unless you never have to change your nominated account details. I now have savings stuck in an account with them that I cannot withdraw and I may have to report them to the Ombudsman if they don't get it sorted in the next couple of days.
Very Poor Customer Service
I have been saving with Raisin now for 3 years. I have been very happy with the various savings rates that they offer...however upon recently Referring a Friend they refused to deposit the £50...after several back and forwards they accepted they had to pay. 1 month later I was offered a bonus of £150 if I deposited £10,000 of new money. Now they are backing out of paying by claiming I used "existing money"...I have now lost all trust with Raisin...if they are like this with their offers...what happens if I have a problem that affects my savings...can't ring them and they take days to respond
Ever easy to deal with and secure
