Mine have not been in a timely manner

Mine have not been in a timely manner. I understand that Medicare is new with this program and am expressing a great deal of patience with this matter. They have to have a paper for permission to send them out, but in all of the paperwork; I still have 2 to 4 days monthly without anything. which is disheartening for someone who is stuck in the bed a lot unable to get up.

As a Medicare supplier, we are required to follow Medicare/CMS documentation and resupply guidelines. This includes having the required paperwork on file before we can ship and following Medicare's approved resupply schedule of 30 wicks every 30 days. We understand these requirements can be frustrating, but they are set by Medicare/CMS and are not something we're able to override.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to follow these requirements while doing our best to serve our customers.

They do not have a license in several states including Florida

First the customer service was great. The reason I write this is because I went through the prescription process with the doctors. Then talked with the twice to insure they had all the paperwork needed. Then at the very last minute they told me they could not service Florida and several other states. Now I have to start over. Why don't they put this on the website and also inform the clients before they go through all of this work.

I've been using this company's iontophoresis device to treat my hyperhidrosis for years with great success. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about trying an iontophoresis device. Additionally, their customer support is top-notch and has been tremendously helpful with treatment advice.

What a helpful team!!

Horrible customer service!!!!

If I could give this company a 0 for customer service I would. I applied for this product october 25. They have dragged their feet checking mom's insurance. Asked mom's dr continuously for more paperwork. We still don't have the machine. They never followed up on drs office for paperwork. Mom on hospice now and got a call today March 2026 to say ins won't cover because mom on hospice. It takes 4 months and my poor mom cant get machine now she has to suffer with severe incontinence.

Life Changing!

Repeated Delays and Zero Communication—Avoid This Company

RA Fischer completely mishandled my mother’s prior authorization for a Purewick system. They received all required paperwork from her doctor on August 1, 2025, yet did not submit the authorization to her insurance company until September 16—nearly seven weeks later. During that time, I made repeated follow-ups (Aug 7, 11, 27, Sept 16, 17) and was repeatedly told it was “being worked on” or “awaiting response.”

I discovered on my own in mid-October—through the UHC member portal, not from RA Fischer—that the PA had been denied on September 29 due to the quantity of supplies ordered. Tabitha at RA Fischer told me that they were not even aware of this denial, and despite my multiple requests and their assurances, RA Fischer never filed an appeal.
I called multiple times, emailed documentation, and explicitly asked for confirmation and follow-up. RA Fischer repeatedly failed to respond, failed to escalate, and failed to act. Their lack of communication and accountability delayed my mother’s access to a medically necessary device for nearly three months. During this period, she developed a serious UTI—an outcome that likely could have been avoided had she received the device earlier.

Ultimately, I switched to another DME company, Urological Supplies, Inc., who obtained approval within two weeks and communicated clearly at every step. The difference was night and day.
RA Fischer misrepresented timelines, misrepresented actions taken, and consistently blamed UHC for delays that were entirely due to their own inaction. If they had simply admitted they could not handle this process, I would have moved on months earlier. Instead, we were strung along while nothing happened.

I would not recommend this company under any circumstances.

I HAD hyperhydrosis in my hands for 23…

I HAD hyperhydrosis in my hands for 23 years of my life. I couldn’t shake hands, write on or hold paper, open doors, so many things were affected in my daily life. My dermatologist told me about this iontophoresis machine. I bought it because i tired every lotion ointment and pill under the sun and nothing worked even a little bit. My hands used to drip down my wrists onto my forearms that’s how sweaty my hands would get. I’ve used this machine everyday for a month now, and my life is changed!!!! I feel like a blind person who can see again. I can shake hands, hold and write on paper, my confidence is back. I can’t recommend this enough. It changed my life.

I have suffered from hyperhidrosis for the last 53 years.

I have suffered from hyperhidrosis on my hands and feet for the last 53 years. I have always been very self conscious of my condition. It was always a problem when shaking hands, going for a manicure or pedicure, wearing sandals, etc. I always felt very insecure and I was even happy during the pandemic because I didn't have to shake anyone's hands. No one will ever understand the frustration and the limitations unless you suffer from this condition. I have been using the RA Fischer iontophoresis since March 11th. The sweating in my hands completely stopped after the third week of treatment and the sweating in my feet has decreased almost to the point of no sweating. This treatment has completely changed my life. Now, I feel much more secure when shaking hands, going for a manicure/pedicure and wearing sandals. This has been the only treatment that has worked for me. In the past, I have done botox, creams, antihistamine medicines, etc. and nothing has worked. I will forever be grateful to the RA Fischer team!

After coming home from rehab, I used Purewick at night. I was able to sleep through the night and let my night aid go because I no longer needed her because I had Purewick.

These guys are great!
