Bought the GTS Black with bluetooth to install on my 2012 E550 convertibile with 34K miles last summer and received a faulty unit. When installed the check engine light came on and I had to buy a OBD scanner to reset it. Spoke with the technical department and they had me rewire it 3 times. I think I could install it blindfolded. I returned the unit and received a refund. Since the car is in our Florida home and we were leaving I did not reorder until late December.
I installed it last week and I am very impressed. Thank goodness for traction control. If tuned off the tires break loose anywhere under 20 mph. The thing I did not expect was the milage cruising at 80 mph improved 3 - 4 mpg. I am very pleased. Since I will keep it in race mode which has little effect unless you push it, I don't really need the bluetooth feature.

I purchased the Racechip XLR Throttle Responder for my 2017 SEAT LEON FR 1.4, on the highest setting which is race+ the acceleration is really fast and very noticeably different than my cars standard sport mode. 5* for the product. The price however is ridiculous £189 for the product. If you can afford it then buy one, if your short on cash dont bother, I was thinking about returning it for a full refund but I enjoy the acceleration to much.

Fitted the racechip rs model on my 335i and was blown away by how much power this box gave me on max setting.I know on my car the internals are forged and can handle upto 650hp so no worry with this chip setting.
Fuel consumption I'm not sure about as I have not had a chance to measure it over a distance of 50 miles.Will return with my findings.
It's a 100% yes from me.

RaceChip GTS for 2013 Fiesta 123bhp eco engine

Bought it back in November 19 and have been running it along side the throttle response unit they also sell.

In a word ‘WOW’ had no trouble keeping pace with a Mini Cooper S much to his surprise at a ‘basic’ fiesta titanium rather than an ST...

Had a minor problem with the app after I’d recently updated my iPhone OS, but after binning the app and reinstalled it now works as good as ever.

The wife has the same car, and after driving mine while on ‘designated driver’ duty Said how much more snappy Mine feels compared to her stock model

First chip was defective and put my car into limp mode. eventually got a replacement only for it to blow my turbo the next day.
Racechip talk about warranty but didn’t want to know, even after sending conflicting emails saying it was running out with parameters then stating it can’t go out with engine parameters.
Avoid unless you’re prepared to take the risk as Racechip won’t want to hear about any issues.

I usually get 56-57 mpg, after installing racechip average mpg over 2,000+ miles daily commute went down to 50.7.
Driving style exactly the same.
It didn't really make the performance any different either.
These things should be for performance vehicles only, because it's just not worth it on a small engine vehicle.
£100 to make my car use more petrol.
What an absolute bargain??????
I can't even sell it on as I'd feel like I would be cheating a fellow human.

So please believe me when I say, “I’m the biggest sceptic there is”. But RaceChip proved me wrong.

I have a 2018 Porsche 718 Boxster. Which with out help is a pretty fast car. Well, I installed the RaceChip the other day and although the Install took an hour, due to the complete covered mid - engine, the time was well worth it. The car feels like I bought a new one. It launches like the 2015 Porsche turbo I once drove. If you’re on the fence about buying a Race chip, don’t be. This one is a brainer. BUY IT!

I have a 2017 320d 190bhp, since putting in my tuning box around 3 weeks ago it has changed the way car drives, like seriously it’s amazing.

I have not put the car on the rolling road but on the highest map the car should be putting out 224bhp and it certainly feels that way.

And I invested the extra 50 GBP For the Bluetooth app as I previously had a blue spark in my old bmw and I had to keep popping the hood to change maps.(which was very annoying)

I bought the tuning box mainly for the higher output map and when I’m not on the higher map I just put it into eco. Admittedly the app does need some work it can sometimes be slow in connecting to the box but once connected it’s great! If you do decide you want to floor it just pick up your phone(whilst in a safe place ofcourse) and click race then boom you are away.

The customer service for me was second to none I bought the box just before Black Friday (stupidly) and then recommended it to a friend who got it £100 cheaper. I was a bit annoyed as I recommended it! Messaged customer service through their Facebook page, I got a refund of £100 through my paypal account which was amazing.

I bought from racechip in Germany, I have seen some bad reviews regarding other country sellers but what I got from them in Germany was great!

I have a golf with the 1.9 pd130 engine. I have the basic race chip and is set to one jumper off of maximum.
The car is a lot more responsive with better fuel economy.
I have had it installed a while so this is a genuine review for reliability too. I noticed someone with the same vehicle has given it a low review. All I can say is it has worked great for me.

RaceChip - 2016 Range Rover Evoque - Emailed Customer service to locate exact unit needed as DropDown menus had none. Excellent response time and informative. Delivery was fast and instructions exact unit were emailed separately. Easy 20 Min Install and unit performs as adverised. Gained approx 2L/100km based on normal driving conditions.

I bought the cheapest RaceChip for my SEAT Leon Fr and keeping it on the middle 3 setting I was getting better MPG and better performance. But after about a month, the car would occasionally hiccup and on one occasion, on the motorway, a dashboard warning came on and the car went into limp mode. When I got home, I turned off the engine, turned it back on again and it was running fine – no warning lights.
So I knocked the setting down to 2 and then 1 and even though it gave me miles of OK driving, it would still hiccup occasionally. During this time I was emailing customer service who have been absolutely superb throughout. Then, on setting 1, it started going into limp mode almost continually and even did so again on the motorway, so, on the motorway hard shoulder I turned it to 0 to get back OK.
I then contacted customer service who suggested I return it for a re-program. They supplied the return postage label and I got it back a week later. Unfortunately, I then got worse MPG on all of the settings. So I contacted customer service again, just to advise them of the history of operation – I did not request or expect a refund – in my mind I had written the cost off to experience. However, completely unprompted, they said if I returned it they would give me a full refund. They again sent a label and issued the refund within a week.
That is why I give 4 stars – because their customer service has been superb – just a shame that the chip didn’t work perfectly with my car.

Brilliant. It's given my throttle the extra punch it needed.

Fitted this to a 2001 BMW 330Ci (E46). It's electronic throttle and I've always found it a little laggy. I was sceptical about fitting the RaceChip unit but I'm glad I took the risk.

Installation was easy (although the sticky pads are not sticky at all), and the unit and accessories are well made and solid.

Performance has been great. Genuinely, the rev range and layout feels better, particularly in the higher settings. I'm a real E46 nerd, and can honestly say that this unit has added great responsiveness to the throttle. S and S+ mode are good for daily driving. R and R+ mode aren't comfortable when in start/stop traffic, but on a clear and open road it's fantastic.

This installation has been a nice surprise. It's important to understand that this doesn't add power, or a remap, but it does adjust the sensitivity of your throttle, more so than just planting your foot could ever manage. It puts down the power a lot quicker . Ultimately, it's a sport button for your car. Would definitely recommend.

Secured a purchase with one of racechip Romania reseller and subsequently my order was cancelled due to transport damages whilst shipping to me. Emailed RaceChip Germany about the bad services of the reseller and was asked to get it from my local reseller who does not bring in the RaceChip S (lower end range). Emailed again to RaceChip Germany their reply was they cannot assist me further. Very bad and poor customer services and this company has no core values in business. I will shop elsewhere.

i had one fitted to my 2017 L200 it worked well with around 4 to 5 mpg more i hope to fit one to my 2018 shogan sport and get the same results

Whilst these chips may work, on my vehicle it failed, pushing the engine ECU to limp mode even on the lowest setting. On contacting RaceChip they refused to accept refund or return for the defective item, in contravention of consumer legislation.
As a PS, RaceChip have attempted to have this review deleted. They obviously prefer to invest their energy to interfere with legitimate feedback, rather than to address their poor service.

Installed this on my BMW 1 series and my god I was blown away with the performance, app was great and did what it was supposed to do.

Amazing product. Took my CLS63 AMG to 639 hp on a dyno. This is no joke. I have stock and after Race Chip installation synod and it works. Also great customer service.

Improved 0 to 60 mph from 12 to 9 seconds on 2014 passat. Great customer service.
