Qustodio has a consistent problem with blocking unsupported browsers. Most recently, their software engineers have been unable to block the use of the 'Browser' app (browser-app.com). So, unless every... See more

Update- I have been able to speak to Qustodio since this review and some issues have been resolved. The app for the most part works well, but there are some holes in it, but I don't think any app is going to be 100%. Customer service was very nice but I wish there was a quicker response time and a chat feature. We are going to keep this app for now.
I have sent multiple emails and requested to talk to someone, but the earliest appointment is 7 days away so I'm still waiting. The app is not working - it is not enforcing time limits or blocking apps, or reporting to me even after I upgraded to the premium account. I'm so frustrated and I'm about to cancel
I'm hoping someone will get back to me and please have an easy fix why it's not working with my daughter's iPhone 17.

I configured the software as guided but it did not work. Additionally no phone support. Configuration should be simple. You open a website, and it is linked and the software should run in background. Name of the software should not appear. Just say home policy, contact your guardian. It is for children.

Expensive, and doesn’t work. Blocks websites (including school websites required by your children) even when you have switched it off, and has a complicated system of “routines” which alter the level of control but are horribly complex to implement, to the point where you find your kids aren’t allowed to use their phones on the bus but can probably access Japanese tentacle porn at 3am. I run a website for a living so can just about manage to make it work (though not without massive ballache). If you aren’t technically minded forget it.

I purchased Qustodio because I have both Android and iOS devices at home and wanted a single cross-platform solution to manage everything from one platform. However, the product did not deliver on its advertised capabilities. On Android, child Gmail accounts automatically link to Google’s Family Link, which directly conflicts with Qustodio and makes the setup unstable and unreliable from the beginning.
The overall user experience felt frustrating. The VPN did not work, the certificate installation was confusing and ineffective, and core features such as calls and SMS monitoring could not be activated, even after carefully following all instructions. Monitoring conversations from apps like WhatsApp or similar was also not possible in practice.
I genuinely felt misled by the way the product is presented. Fortunately, I was able to request a refund within the 30-day period, and the process was handled correctly and professionally, which I sincerely appreciate.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the software, but I do acknowledge and value the quality of their customer support.

Fantastic and affordable way to help kids with responsible device usage.

Can’t get It to work. It crashes safari. Have sent 2 emails and no reply.

I like the fact I can turn on and off things on my kids phone without taking their phone away. And setting time limits as well.
Only thing I wish could happen, is with phone calls and texts if the name is in their phonebook, it would be nice to have that attached to the call or text instead of the #

When my kid used and Android it was poor, but ok. For example, on Android you can just run blocked application by clicking on its icon with high rate! But when we've got iPhone, it appearead that Qustodio doesn't work with iPhone as it should at all. A lot of applications can't be blocked! And even on Windows desktop there are ways to watch blocked sites. The problem that I've already paid for second year and when I've tried to get my money back, I was declined! This is buggy, not worknig propertly software and they don't want to return money for their poor service. Be aware!

It helps a lot in helping my children not be addicted to their mobiles.

I search others Parental Control Apps in the market and Qustodio is the most completed App. Need to continue improve the App, for example right now is not possible to check the whatsapp messages if the device is apple.
For android already done but not for apple device and also need to strenght the location topic, some times are not accurate or it takes a long time to update

iMac that my son uses is also shared by other users ..Instead of monitoring only his profile , your software is monitoring entire computer making it useless. Calls log is not working. YouTube logs are not correct. iMac and iPhone were shown as locked while they were open.

Sent multiple emails and no responses. A child can disable the app in one click! What a waste of money!

It's impossible to find way to ask for refund. Why it always hidden! Cross links from one resource to another without actual information how to get refund. "Connect to support team" no emails, no phone number, just link to refund policy! Terrible experience. Make it written "for refund call XXX or email XXX".

Besides counting time and pausing internet .. it has so many glitches on iPhone .. and their customer service is just simple unable to solve their glitches that makes it stressful for parents and useless

I like the easiness of the app as I’m not very tech savvy.
I like the button for pause individually for each kids when needed. And also to see which apps they’re using throughout the day. I wish it had sight to Snapchat as that’s the devil of all apps in my opinion.
I really like the alert notification, if a child googles something alarming. Really helpful.
I’ve had this app for two years and just subscribed happily to another year as I haven’t found a better one.

This app I thought was great at first for $100 and then after a week I realized it’s nothing but a scam. I’m not getting none of my son’s calls or messages. It’s not blocking him from using his phone. What I need it to do it now overrides it. It’s a waste of money!!

The fact that my child cannot delete it, the last time I was on a free trial, he had deleted it but since I paid, he’s unable to touch it. Thank you Qustodio
