Misleading and frustrating experience.

Misleading and frustrating experience.

Paid £1000+ for a “fast-track” DEA course with certification expected in about a week. Instead, timelines changed, my portfolio sat unreviewed for longer than promised, and I had to chase constantly.

Now over a month later and still waiting. Avoid at all costs!

I was very impressed with the delivery…

I was very impressed with the delivery on Zoom given the lockdown restrictions due to Covid-19 at the time. The course was clear, concise and well delivered. I found the practical exercises particularly useful on the third day to embed what I'd learnt. After completing the set portfolio I received my City and Guild certificate in good time. I'm going into business with my friend doing Domestic Energy Assessments and am looking forward to a long a successful career in this field. Quodox Training has been an essential stepping stone to this.

Just completed 3 day EPC course with Quodox
The trainer M Yaseen was knowledgeable and provided good feedback to our questions.
The course is intensive and information overload is apparent so be prepared.
The course gives an outline on what to expect as an EPC assessor while solid home revision will be required to obtain full potential of course.

Course format was well laid out however felt little rushed so maybe can benefit from extending by half day.

Overall the experience was positive and worthwhile .
If youre looking to master the field in 3 days then its not for you But if you want a solid professional overview of what to expect as DEA then i would recommed contacting company first for quick chat and take it from there

The worst online training experience I…

The worst online training experience I have ever had.
The 3 day EPC course was so rushed, I could not keep up, the teacher raced through all the materials like he had another meeting to attend.
instead of a small class of 8 online, I found that there were at least 22 students on the zoom call.
I finished the 3-day course but did not pursue it or hand any paperwork in as I felt I did not know enough to use what I had gained on this diabolical course, and to top it off, not a single follow up call at any point to see how things were going. just a waste of £1140.00

Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company. Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews on Google. They just delete the bad ones.

I did the EPC course and I came out of the course with no confidence whatsoever. The teaching was terrible and the communication is just as bad. I was told on the phone before I joined the course that they limit the group to 7-8 people, so I decided to join. Instead of 7-8 people their were 16 people. Bloody ridiculous. How can you understand the course when everyone keeps asking a question every 1 minute. The whole course was rushed as it was only 3 days and the powerpoint seemed so outdated.

I have passed the course, however, I did not understand majority of it due to the terrible teaching from the instructor.

I'm having to now go through the course by myself and do the EPCs, to try and make the money back.
If you want to actually learn how to properly do EPCs then avoid Quodox and go somewhere else.

I'm still waiting for my certificate to come for the 5th time. They said that their gonna send but it still hasn't come and its been around 2 months.
