Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 85 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall, finding the user experience severely hindered by frequent advertisements and paywalls that disrupted their learning flow and made studying difficult. Customers also reported significant issues with the website and app, including lagging, crashing, and limitations on essential features, often restricting study tools to paid subscriptions. Reviewers frequently encountered problems with the subscription model, citing unexpected auto-renewals and misleading free trial offers that led to immediate charges. However, some customers also noted that the platform could be helpful for exams and found it useful, appreciating its potential as a study tool.

Really boring and always says i made a mistake. I use it to practice french and it tells me to translate "la demi-sœur" and i type the half sister but IM WRONG AND THE CORRECT ANSWER IS "HALF/STEP SISTER". also there are so many ads and every 5 seconds tells me to pay for a subscription which is very greedy. THE ADS FIVE U MONEY, WHY DO U NEEED MORE BY PAYWALLING ME EVERY 0.0001 ZEPTOSECOND. if u want to learn a language use a̶n̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶w̶e̶b̶s̶i̶t̶e̶❌ another/different website✅

Beware of false advertisement for a 7 day free trial

Beware of false advertisement for a 7 day free trial on the website - you will be charged immediately for the full subscription. I have been using the free version of Quizlet for many years and decided to trial upgrading my account, but will now be avoiding this service. Additionally, once you have added your bank details Quizlet does not provide any means for you to remove them so be cautious.

Even if you pay, you lose!

I paid for annual subscription and they still put a limit on how many expert solutions I can see per day. And this limit is very low. It is a practice that feels like scam. I wrote them, but the response was extremely generic.

Annual pass

Paid for the annual subscription it seemed to work until it didn’t. Tried asking me to pay for another annual subscription but at a higher price. I contacted them asking what has happened and if they could get the app to work. They send me an email straight away saying they canceled my subscription and are sending me a refund…. I just wanted to app to work 😂 they have ignored my next messages

I needed something to study for floral

I needed something to study for floral
design, just ramdum question, not expecting much, what was the most frustrating was when I was in test mode it would say for exsample "What is the botanical name of this flower " there is no flower to look at and it becomes a random guess of four choices, 50/50 +/- you get it right, su@#'s and there is no way to solve this issue and imagines are very im important. I have now been charged for a year and no technical support.

They put everything behind a paywall…

They put everything behind a paywall and removed the option to export your flashcards out of their website so you can't switch to free alternatives. you can't even go thirty seconds without being inundated with ads and pop ups for Quizlet plus

Super helpful site, great customer service!

I found this platform incredibly helpful in preparing for exams. I’m also very impressed by the prompt refund I received after reaching out to them after an auto renewal when I no longer needed their service. Excellent customer service!

Flashcard Ads and Paywalls SUCK

I think the fact they put every single feature other than flashcards behind a paywall ridiculous. The whole site used to be free and almost every student I knew used it. To still call yourself a website/company that prioritizes learning is simply untrue. The ads in the middle of flashcard sets are so jarring and take you right out of the flow of learning. Ridiculous that I am getting an ad when I study, might as well give me an ad whenever I blink.
