Quinny = Money Making Racket

Why would anyone think its a good idea to put inner tubes in the tyres of a buggy, then make it impossible to buy these inner tubes???? Money making racket in my opinion... I'd never recommend your buggy to anyone. Not after the experience we are having

DONT buy a Quinny product!!

Don’t buy a Quinny product!!! The designs are amazing but the customer service is a joke!! They are not willing to help at all. Even with the lifetime warranty that they pretend to have. After 1,5 year of use of the Quinny Hubb, one wheel got blocked. It was really hard to get in contact with them. Phone numbers on my warranty certificate were not working, phone nrs of resellers same story, finally I got in contact via email. To find out that they will not do a thing. In the end I arranged with the reseller that they would fix the wheel. Turns out it is not fixable!! So now I have a whole bunch of Quinny Hubb accessoires, but no stroller. I contacted the quinny customer service again, but also this time they couldn't support me with anything. Such a pity! It’s a brand with so much potential, beautiful and innovative products, nicely designed logo and website.. but without a real customer service you won’t make it on the long term! Never again I would buy or recommend anybody else to buy from this brand.

I love the look of quinny moodd

I love the look of quinny moodd, I had one with my older child and it was great lasted about 3 and a half years.
Bought one for my second child had it less than a year and it’s leaking a black substance from the inside, they have claimed the pram is not faulty after sending it in. They claim it’s down to weathering. This pram is never out in the rain more than a few minutes, we have 4 different prams in total due to grandparents and my partner using one (all different brands) but we do not have this problem with any of them! So great if you don’t get a faulty pram but rubbish unfortunately when things go wrong. Would advise against using quinny after this experience

Quinny repair

After having my sons Quinny Moodd for 9 months it needed a major repair. I was worried I would have to purchase another pram, however after emailing their customer service (they swiftly replied to my correspondence within 15 mins for 2 emails) they booked my pram in for repair. I was so impressed by their customer service. My pram was picked up at 12pm on Monday, and has just returned at 9am this morning. Less than 3 days! In perfect working condition. Absolutely amazing customer service, communication and handling. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

dangerous stroller and poor customer service.

Bought a Quinny Yezz stroller and was initially impressed with it’s lightweight modern design. However, since owning it, the frame has snapped mid use, numerous bolts have come off which I bought a torx set to tighter periodically, and more recently a wheel fell off. Dorel customer services have not been helpful, and don’t seem to recognise the potential dangers this stroller poses. I am now left with an unusable stroller, and will avoid the Dorel group (Quinny & Maxi Cosi) until they sort this out.

Brought the Quinny footmuff

Brought the Quinny footmuff. It apparently works on every buggy also for children up to 3 and a half years old. At just under 100£ it looks cheap , does not fit the buggy and is so small my 6 month old just fits it. The button fastening also does not close, which makes it faulty .
After writing to quinny I was told that had I noticed an issue with it I should have sent it back within 14 days without using it.
They did not address the fault nor the size of the ill fitted foot muff. The worst customer service and money i have ever spent ! Will never buy from them again.

Just bought a replacement mattrass (£16.99) and a footmuff (£69.99). I found customer service efficient.
They are good quality but very expensive. I tried everywhere to get the cheapest price but no joy. Still I am happy with my purchase and will be using them alot

Robbed twice for delivery costs.

Unfortunately we got a Quinny baby pram so did not make sense to buy another one. The model is actually not a bad one, if you get used to a 3 wheeler.
One day however the inner band got flat and had to order replacement. We did order 3 just in case we faced the same issue with the other one. I had hoped that the inner bands would arrive within 48 hours so that we can use the buggy in the nice weather of that periode (beginning of April 2018), but we just got an order confirmation. Days passed but no information, so after 4 days I had placed another order to another company who delivered the products in 30 hours and had tried to cancel the order at Quinny webshop but they would not let me saying it was already in the process. They charged me with the delivery cost and I had to pay also for returning the goods (EUR 10 altogether) that arrived more than a week later and they did not reimburse the delivery cost (most companies take either one or the other or both costs on them). I would say it is O.K. if the bands would have been the cheapest in their webshop... but the other webshops offered it at a much lower price too.
So they are expensive and just cheap on services making the customer to pay. Feel big time robbed by them.

No more business with Quinny. will also not recommend to friends.

Quinny Jezz frame snapped, trapping daughter - absolutely appalling experience with company

Absolutely appalling experience with them. We bought a new Quinny Jezz from a woman off eBay; it was boxed up, labels enclosed (still have them). She had purchased from Babyvalue. The stroller was used little - essentially bought with air travel in mind as it was easy to fold down and carry.

However.....after just 5 months, and little use, my wife ran into a major problem one day. She needed to take our 2 year old daughter from UK to Dublin for an appointment (a 1 day trip) so she brought the stroller on the flight. Whilst in Dublin, walking through the city on her way back towards the airport, the stroller frame completely snapped, trapping our daughter in the stroller and requiring the assistance of a passer-by to extricate my daughter from the now collapsed stroller. My wife managed, somehow, to get herself, our daughter, her bags, and the collapsed buggy on board a bus to Dublin Airport but was (you can imagine) struggling. I advised her to leave the broken stroller behind and concentrate on looking after what was important - our daughter. The completely broken stroller was left behind in Dublin therefore. However, my wife took pictures.

When my wife returned, I took the matter up with Quinny - and frankly was and am flabbergasted with the attitude. They tried to fob me off to the person on eBay from whom we had purchased and ludicrously offered a repair of the stroller at a fixed price following inspection of the stroller - which clearly is unavailable!

I had to remind them that whilst, yes, we bought from a seller on eBay, the product was brand new and we are talking about a significant issue here with one of their products which might have seriously injured my daughter. Even though the matter appeared to be elevated to a Paul Gilbert, evidently quite senior in the company, this made no difference to the Quinny stance - which seemed to completely lack any kind of concern that a stroller used by very small, vulnerable children could break apart in this way ....and it's not the first time it has happened either, because I copied a link to Mr Gilbert about another parent's practically identical experience!

What I would have expected to see would have been 1) some appropriate level of apology and concern for my child over the failure of their product 2) some indication that they would investigate what had happened in our case (using the photos we gave them) and the other similar case involving the other parent and 3) a willingness to replace (with a safer stroller) the stroller that broke apart in Dublin, because whilst not bought directly from them, ultimately that stroller originated from them.

What we got instead was a case of "nothing to do with me gov". ...Frankly, that is not good enough.
