Kyo Commode
We recently bought the new Kyo commode and it’s an understatement when I say that we are disappointed with the quality. Don’t even get me started on assembling the commode itself. The instructions were horrible and the commode itself is built in such low quality MDF wood. At this price point, you would expect at least some parts to be real wood or at least something that is built sturdy. Really disappointed on this purchase. They advertised it so nicely. When we were building the cabinet doors, the mechanism gave up so quickly no matter how careful we were!!! Now we’re stuck with a commode with a door that doesn’t open.

We would like to clarify that the Kyo Chest is not made of MDF. The KYO collection is produced from premium laminated chipboard, a deliberate material choice that ensures durability, stability, and a high-quality finish. This information is clearly communicated in both the product description and the technical data sheet, allowing customers to make a well-informed decision prior to purchase. Naturally, a different material choice can also lead to a different perception or expectation of the product.
In addition, all Kyo furniture is equipped with premium Hettich hardware, a well-known and reliable standard in furniture fittings. For this reason, difficulties during assembly are not considered normal. Should you encounter any issues during installation, our service team is always ready to assist you and guide you through the process. You can reach them at service@quax.eu.
We have not received similar feedback regarding the assembly instructions so far, but we remain open to reviewing any concerns you may have and are here to help if you encounter any difficulties.
Many of our retailers and our showroom also offer the possibility to view an expo model in person to support an informed purchase.
If the product ultimately does not meet your expectations, we kindly refer you to the return conditions of your point of purchase.
