COMPLETELY USELESS, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!
I made my purchase online and shortly afterwards I was issued with a defective phone, I called and was advised to return the phone(4 days before Christmas) and advised I would be issued with a refund for the £6.95 for Special Delivery & a replacement handset sent out...... I then the next day received a replacement handset which was a different make and model as discussed on the phone as they could not repair the original handset as it required a new LCD screen and they could not fix it before Christmas......I then received the replacement handset and was advised on the phone it had been FULLY TESTED before it was sent out. It had not been tested it was faulty, it would switch on and black out with vertical lines appearing from the right hand side to the middle of the screen before switching itself off completely . I left two messages on the website requesting a call back to no avail. I called this morning and I found the female to be very disinterested, unapologetic and totally unhelpful. I asked why I hadn't been called back and I was advised I didn't receive a call back as they don't pick up call backs at the weekend. I was advised the best thing they can do for me is give me a full refund and reimburse me for the postage as I have lost trust in the company. I am totally disappointed and feel let down by Purple Gossip, It is Christmas and I am without a present for a relative and they couldn't care about the stress they cause, they just fob you off and throw your money back at you. Don't be fooled by the website, its a front for what I can only describe as a cowboy-esque outfit. If I were you I would spend your hard earned cash elsewhere. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
