When delivering

When delivering - give seniors time to get to the door to answer and receive packages, instead of knock, stick label and run from door, your a customer service facility! If you can't deliver it, take it to the local post office instead of making it more complicated in getting the package 40 minutes away!! Then to get someone else to get the package, written letter (not an email or calling in) copy of ID and their ID etc this delivery system is to make less stress not create it!!! As well phone customer service is just a pure 0

Purolator is THE worst company!

Purolator has got to be THE worst courier company, hands down! We ordered a gazebo from Rona on a Sunday and it said it would be delivered 5 days later on Friday. The gazebo came in two boxes, we got one box with the roof pieces on the Friday as promised, but not the larger box with the rest of it. When I called Purolator, they said it would be delivered the following Monday. It never came on Monday. I called again, they said it would be delivered on Tuesday or Wednesday. Again, it did not come as promised. I called again on Wednesday, I was assured that they noted in the delivery instructions for it to be delivered the next day on Thursday. Surprise! It didn't come. By this point, this box has been with Purolator for almost 2 weeks! I called again, spoke to a manager and she agreed that this was taking an abnormally long time to be delivered, but said there was nothing she could do. I asked if they were prepared to compensate me in any way and she said no. I was told that I could pick it up from their depot. Seriously?!? So I did just that, because for the second time, I had people organized to come and help me put it together on Saturday, so I ended up arranging for a friend with a truck to pick it up for me from their depot. So Purolator got paid to deliver a package that I ended up having to pick up because they couldn't be bothered to deliver it.

They are impossibly awful

They are impossibly awful. You have to work hard to be this incompetent. The manager who I spoke with was incredibly rude. Gross! It is to the point that I won’t order from a company unless they use Canada Post or Fed Ex. Purolator is by far the worst.

Purolator is the absolute bottom of the…

Purolator is the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to delivery. "A promise, not a package" my sweet *ss".
I paid $125 for 2 day delivery of a small package from Missisauga to Yellowknife. Package was shipped June 23rd, arrived in Edmonton June 25th and sat there for 4 days due to some mysterious unknown mechanical issue (yeah, nice try diddy), package arrived in Yellowknife June 29th and went out for delivery June 29th, but didn't get delivered due to an unknown, you guessed it, mechanical failure (nice try diddy). Anyway, long story short, package still hasn't been delivered, and the window has been missed by a long shot. This was an important delivery required for a remote location which I can only reach by charter flight and it did not arrive on time despite Purolator having ample time to deliver, especially given the price paid to ensure delivery.
Can't wait till this company goes down the drain along with Canada Post.

Overnight seems impossible for them

Worst delivery service I’ve ever dealt with why offer overnight shipping if it’s something you cannot accomplish parcel sits it depot for days before they even bother to pick it up if they would correctly set delivery standards to more accurately reflect how long they will take the package to ship people would be aware to use a different service for actual overnight shipping

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, very bad deliver experience took them 4 days of "it is on the van for delivery today" before they actually delivered it. the reps were useless I raised a complaint and asks for a manager and was basically ignored.

Driver not ringing bell and leaving note to pickup items. I called to make a complaint and representative said there was no appartement number while on the notice left by the driver he wrote the apartment number. Worst delivery service ever

My package is missing once again for a…

My package is missing once again for a week now. Worst part is it's part of another package so I have half a Gazebo and the other half is missing. I hate this company. No one will get back to you.. stories change. Don't ever use Purolator. And if you order something online make sure to find out which courier company they use. If it says Purolator, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

They want me to lift over 100lbs on my own...

Ordered online from a vendor who do not give you a choice in who is used to transport the parcel.
Purolator DO NOT deliver to rural addresses but will drop it at (their) designated drop point.
I receive a call from someone who speaks Very broken English that it can go to Debolt Ab or stay at the depot.
Either way is a 45 min drive from my home, so I opt for the GP depot.
I get a second call, saying the same, I explained it is agreed I will collect from GP.
A 3rd call from the RUDEST women who says I need to collect it now (1st call Monday...I'm collecting Wednesday when I can get there!) she got my back up with that nasty attitude.
I go to the GP depot (8.57am I join the que outside) 9.05am the door still isn't open!
When the woman decides to open the door, no acknowlegement, no 'sorry to keep you waiting'...Nothing. And she walks out the back ignoring all who are waiting the the front 'reception' area.
No good morning, no Hello....
Finally I gave her my tracking #...she wheels a parcel out, leaves the dolly and says sign...(still no words of please/thankyou) and I say I'll need help loading this.
She looks at me and says...'we don't do that'!
I ask if it can be fork-lifted?
She says 'no...what is that'?

This farce carries on till another member of staff appears and says she will help.

I'm 165lbs...she is maybe 130lbs...it's not happening!
This parcel is approx 120lbs...into the back of an F150.

Another customer came over to help...
When I asked the staff member why Purolator thinks this is acceptable, she replies...'its in our contract'.

I WILL NOT RISK MY BACK OR MY HEALTH and that of the staff member because of a Purolator policy that is utterly DANGEROUS.

By the time I drive away, I decide to call in a complaint...and the farce carries on.

All in all, todays experience highlights why they have a bad reputation...

Why the hell did Purolator accept this parcel to begin with!?

Customer service clearly doesn't come with the $15 min wage!!

Purolator is the worst delivery service…

Purolator is the worst delivery service I have ever experienced. They failed to deliver on the scheduled date last week claiming there was no one to receive it altho I waited in place the entire day. Purolator then rescheduled for today. Again, I waited the whole day, and then got a text at 4:30 saying the same thing, that there was no one to receive my package!. That's two whole days I've wasted, waiting in vain. I have never had this problem with Fedex, UPS, Canada Post, or even with florists or any other delivery service. I can only assume that the drivers are either incompetent or indifferent. Do not use Purolator!

Late again as expected.

As soon as I saw my package was being shipped by Purolator I knew it would not arrive on time. This is from past experience about 80% of the time. This time was no different but after the second day of it saying "Delayed in transit due to missed connection" and no firm delivery date I decided to call them. Of course that were not able to arrange for it to be delivered today (When it was supposed to be delivered yesterday) and I was not able to wait another day as I am out for the day tomorrow. At least they were able to make arrangements for me to pick it up at the depot (45 minute return trip). I need to remembe to put a note in purchases that are not once I deal with regularly to make sure they do not use Purolator. It is a very unreliable service and I guess the only reason they are still in operation is that they are subsidized by the government.

Very disappointing service

Very disappointing service. My package was originally scheduled for home delivery, but instead of delivering it on time, Purolator kept changing the delivery status and finally sent it to a pickup location. I had already requested delivery at home and was expecting it today, but it never arrived.you waste my time I have work but I take off today because of you .

Poor communication, unprofessional handling of packages, and no respect for customers’ time. This company cannot be trusted for reliable delivery service. I wasted my time waiting for my package and still did not receive it as promised.

I would not recommend Purolator to anyone. Very poor customer service and lack of professionalism & communication should be implemented not like okey will do but end of day you take the delivery back to pick notification this is really unacceptable and bad company your staff all of you !!

If I could give Purolator zero stars

If I could give Purolator zero stars, I would.
A package shipped from ONE HOUR AWAY arrived in my city the same day. Fantastic start. Then it apparently entered a witness protection program.
For SEVEN DAYS it has sat at a facility TEN MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE without ever being loaded onto a delivery truck. Seven days. Not delayed by weather. Not crossing an ocean. Not being transported by mule through the Rockies. Just... existing. Somewhere. Motionless.
After multiple contacts, the official response is now that there's a "trace" on it. A trace. As if this is a cold case from a true crime documentary and detectives need 48 more hours to determine the whereabouts of the box they themselves scanned into the facility and never scanned out of.
Here's a helpful clue for the investigation: I don't have it.
The tracking shows it arrived. The tracking does not show it left. The package did not teleport into another dimension. It is either sitting on a shelf, under a shelf, behind a shelf, or has become the shelf.
I've watched houseplants grow faster than this delivery process.
At this point, I fully expect my package to arrive with a beard, a mortgage, and stories about where it was during its seven-day spiritual journey through the Purolator distribution network.
Absolutely maddening.

Very bad experience.

They Never gave me notice that I needed to sign my package. The guy arrived, and he never even knocked! Then they leave a note that says I have to pick it up in TWO DAYS. TWO!! I would leave zero stars if I could. I tracked it, and it said "attempted delivery". You never even tried to deliver my package.

Bad delivery practice

They just decided not to deliver my Insulin pump supplies because the road was close (and provided no alternative or pick up point). They are litterally actively endangering me. This is also not the first time. If you are a corporation shipping medical supplies through Purolator, find a different carrier. They do not care about what they are delivering.

Purolator does not deliver, its a lie

I have never had Purolator tried to reach me with any package, ever. This time was no different. All they do is stick a ticket on the outside apartment door and bugger off. Amazon, by contrast, lets me know where the driver is. I can trace my package. They stand outside and call me on their cell (buzzer doesn't work). I am elderly and disabled and can barely walk and don't drive. I also misplaced my government ID. Even my birth certificate so I can't get a new government ID, which is what they demand to see if you pickup. They are the worst of all currier services. Now my TV will never work again because Telus can't get the new equipment to me.

Worst courier service

Worst courier service I've ever dealt with. Stayed home all day waiting for a package, only to get a fake "attempted delivery" notification claiming nobody was home. Complete nonsense, no knock, no doorbell, no delivery attempt.

This keeps happening over and over again. If you have no intention of delivering the package, at least be honest about it. Absolutely unacceptable service, don't know how this company is still around.

Disconnection on my package

Disconnection on my package. I called to inquire and got a reply of just deal with you’ll get your package when you get it. Sick and tired of this company and their I don’t give a shit attitude. Nobody should be using this company. Everyone should boycott Purolator
