Value for the money, but
Value for the money, friendly, helpful staff, clean and mostly tidy, except when lazy members do not return the equipment they had got out. I give it only 3 stars. This is mainly down to machine hoggers. Why do some members sit on the machine, playing with their phone, while resting between sets? GET up walk about, whilst resting, give others a chance to use the machine.

Anybody witnessed leaving equipment out of place will be spoken to by our Gym Team. We're afraid we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment we would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further. Incredibly welcoming.
Had nothing but a really positive experience for my first visit today. Was looking for a gym that was both welcoming and easy to get to and pure gym stockton was the best one that I could find, opted to book a taster lifting session with Lee Smithies and couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Lee was super laid back and showed me around some of the machines that I would be utilising to meet my own goals.
Finding a gym that suites you is super important, its not just the machines that are important but the overall atmosphere also plays a crucial role in determining how adapt you can become to showing up, couldn't be happier with my experience thus far.

I have been working with Chloe Hoe, Personal Trainer, for a few months now. Whilst the gym is full of excellent equipment, Chloe has shown me how to use it properly and get the best out of it! I can already see good results and would recommend Chloe to anyone!

Great atmosphere and well organised, however I didn’t see sit-ups bench to work for my stomach abs and also shower water temperature need slightly increased to suit my liking

Very impressed with PureGym Teeside…
Very impressed with PureGym Teeside Park. I have trained and been a member of gyms for over 30 years at all price points. No one gym is perfect but if you can survive without a sauna and pool then PureGym at Teeside Park is pretty close. Outstanding value, great opening hours, good accessibility, free easy parking, good range of quality equipment and very clean. But most of all very friendly approachable staff and a lovely atmosphere while not being super busy.

Definitely worth a visit - Stockton PureGym
This gym has been open 2 months. There is a good selection of fitness equipment. There is a good choice of fitness classes. It is open 24 hours daily and I think it closed less than a major competitor over the Christmas period and offers more
classes than this competitor.
I think this gym has the potential to be very good. It is fairly quiet at the moment.
I couldn't give 5 stars because I booked a class at 12.30 on Sunday 29/12 and when I went to go in the class I was told it was cancelled. I think I should
have been notified before I set out for the 8 miles each way drive.
I think the class was cancelled because there were insufficient people for the class. This happened again a few days before this but the class leader, Lee, used his initiative and asked a few people exercising in the gym if they wanted to join the
class and they did and it went ahead. Thank you Lee.
I don't think this is likely to be a problem in the future as I think this gym will be successful with plenty of customers - I certainly hope so.
