A horrendous experience from start to finish

Had the worst experience with this company, they didn’t have a clue when it came to my mum’s electric boiler when her heating stopped working last year. Over a dozen visits - each time a different worker - they changed a whole stack of parts one after the other in the hope of solving the issue. At the end of every visit, they said the heating was fixed - every time, it wasn’t. No proper diagnoses or solution, just replacing bits, including the control panel, programmer, underfloor heating heads and thermostats in the hope something would work. During their final visit they found a stray disconnected wire and reconnected it. Surprise - the system started working. They charged my mum well over £1000 for this. Just under a year later her heating stopped working again. Pure wouldn’t come out to look without charging, despite the work supposedly being under guarantee. We asked another plumber, this one experienced with electric boilers, to come and look. He said Pure had replaced a lot of parts that absolutely hadn’t needed to be replaced - and they had put the wrong replacement heads on the underfloor heating so none of the zones connected up correctly. My mum has had to pay another £400 for this remedial work. If you have an electric boiler, please don’t use this company, you will regret it.

Outrageously bad experience with…

Outrageously bad experience with PureService. They were supposed to fix the shower that was dripping water, but instead, the plumber just removed the top shower head. Now there is a glaring hole in the wall, and the handles are dripping water. The loss of water is even stronger now. We called the company when the plumber was still here to complain about him, but it made no difference. He claimed that he did not have any tools with him to fix the valve that is likely causing the dripping. In the end, I stayed at home all day waiting for the plumber, we had to pay 250£, I had to clean up the bathroom that was left dirty, and now the dripping problem is worse. This is unacceptable. They do not accept that we don't want to pay the bill, claiming that they did provide a service we had to pay for.
