We are a small family run Beauty Salon from Lichfield in the Midlands and we have been selling Professionally Recommended Beauty Products Online in the UK for nearly 20 years. Our brands include some of the most popular, well known and well resepcted skincare and hair care products in the UK. These include Dermalogica, Elemis, Medik8, SkinCeuticals, Olpalex, L'Oreal, Color Wow and many, many more besides. We are a small business and we are very proud to be so and the comes with it's stregnths and weaknesses but we have a strong and loyal customer base and we always try and do our very best for all of our customers. We hand pick and pack all of our customers' orders, we do it from our Salon in Lichfield and we process and send orders as quickly as we can but we are not a multi-national business and we will never deliver your items the same day. What we will do is appreciate each and every customer and each and every order they choose to place with us.

I recently placed an order with Pure…

I recently placed an order with Pure Beauty and unfortunately one of the items was missing when it arrived. When I contacted customer service, the only “solution” offered was a photo of the item supposedly being packed — which doesn’t really help when the issue is that it never made it to me.

It’s quite clear the item was lost in transit, especially considering the packaging used wasn’t suitable for the weight of the order. On top of that, the overall handling of the situation was incredibly unhelpful. I’m not sure what more I could have provided to prove that the item didn’t arrive.

The lack of accountability and support from customer service has been really disappointing — genuinely a 0/10 experience in that regard.

To be fair, the products that did arrive were good, and the prices are reasonable. However, good products aren’t enough to make up for poor service. I won’t be shopping here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend them. I’ll be taking my money elsewhere in future.

I have carefully looked into this and, as I have mentioned before when we have bad reviews for a missing product - we have a very robust picking and packing process.

Firstly there are 4 of us who work for this business and we have 2 people who process and pack orders: Casey and Susan. We are a small family run business and have been doing this for nearly 20 years. We are not a massive company with hundreds of employees: I know both of them.

Secondly, following more instances that we could afford of missing products, in 2020 we developed an automanted order processing system the penultimate step of which is to photograph the contents of the package and store this photograph in a database as an encrypted string: it cannot be changed or edited once taken. The parcel is sealed the label is printed and off it goes.

We developed this system becuase of the number of item not received emails we used to get and to see if we were not sending them. This process vastly reduced the number of issues we had but it also enables us to be sure when a customer emails to tell us an item has not been received.

This is why I am a 100% sure we sent all of the items orders.

You mentioned in your email that "one corner of the packaging was open and perhaps the item was lost in transit". This could be the case but the photo of the hole you sent was not large enough the the item to pass through. Furthermore if packages are very bacdly damaged through Royal Mail they will put it in a Special Bag with instructions on what to do to make a claim.

We take our responsibilites to our customers extremely seriously. We are such a small company that every single order we receive counts to us and we would not still be is business 19 years later if we did not fulfil our customers orders and expectations and be fully focussed on delivering the very best we can for each and every order and each and every customer.

This is a brilliant company

This is a brilliant company, they have a great selection of brands and the prices are very good. Shipping is excellent and very quick and you are kept updated about dispatch and delivery & also items are very well packaged. Thank you for your service

Pleasantly surprised

Pleasantly surprised! 25% off RRP and fast delivery. Was a little sceptical because the price was significantly lower than other sites however absolutely
no complaints/concerns whatsoever. I don't do reviews as a rule so I hope this helps someone. I'll certainly be a return customer. Thanks

I'm a very happy customer

I've just started using Pure Beauty and i think its a great company , fantastic discounts, very affordable, great packing and I've juat orderd my second item ,I'm reallly happy with my first order i use Medik8 and there products are wonderful and they are not cheap but with the discount it really helped and there products makes your skin feel smooth.ill continue using pure beauty , very happy with everything 😁❤

Pure Beauty Experience

I have been a customer of Pure Beauty for many years. I find them consistently good for prices, customer service and quick delivery. Packaging is minimal which I appreciate and the little samples you can have with each order are great for trying products before buying the full sized item. I do their reward scheme too and this gives you a little extra discount after a few purchases. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend prices and customer service

came across Pure Beauty while googling best price for a dermatologica moisturiser- their prices were v competitive anyway but they had some special offers on Elemis which were too good to ignore - order arrived quickly well packaged - made one call to company pre ordering to clarify something and staff member was very polite and helpful - will definitely use again

Excellent experience using this company. Great prices on Elemis products which were delivered free, well packaged and quickly.

Delivery that doesn't take an age

A pleasure doing "business" with Pure Beauty. Delivery was swift and my product was well packaged- I went for SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Advanced Eye - not cheap stuff, so I appreciated that it was well protected.
