Quite appalling overall and difficult to deal with. However, the cost of the service is very cheap for government departments and of course, the 30 day plus payment terms to contractors provides AMS with dramatically improved cashflow. Ironically, how many of the staff are based in Eastern Europe and will be outside of IR35!
They don't even call you to discuss your application anymore, they just email you the screening questions to fill out yourself. I wonder if their clients know they're doing this? Recruitment at its laziest.
Truly the worst , most dysfunctional recruitment company I’ve ever had the misfortune to work with. Takes ages to reply to emails and when they do just more excuses and delays. Every time you contact them a different person will respond without any of the background of your situation. They don’t keep you updated on progress and you’ll forever be calling and emailing until you give up all hope.
