Rip off
I took my car here recently for a front wheel alignment as there was 50% off on the website. I'd never usually go for such "deals" but my husband has used the Stockton branch for years with no problem.
When I arrived, I was advised that I'd need a 4 wheel alignment at a cost of £129 and 2 new tyres. The cheapest being a budget tyre at £80 each!!! I'm not sure where they plucked such figures from but I told them I'd take the car elsewhere as their prices were ridiculous. I drove straight to another garage and got a 2 wheel alignment for £45 (4 wheel deemed unnecessary for a car like mine) and 2 new mid-range tyres for £60 each.
I've since checked ProTyres website and I can get a Bridgestone for £79.90, so I'd love to know what this mythical £80 budget tyre is. I'm guessing they saw a lone female and decided it was a good opportunity to rob me for car repairs.
To top it off, I've still not received a refund for the money I paid to book the car in on their website. I'll claim it back through my bank.

I found when I took my car for an mot the staff were sociable easy to talk to and efficient in their work.The price of the mot was good compared to some of the other garages 10/10

A relative recommended we try Protyre at Cannon Park, Mbro and I'm pleased we did. My granddaughter's Alto needed an MOT but failed on a brake pipe. I hadn't realised a repair could be carried out there so we accepted and off we went for a trip to the shops.
Hats off to the staff at Protyre from receiving us to getting the car through its' test. Matt was very thorough and listed other advisories to keep an eye on. Zara looked after us on a steaming hot day and offered drinks and ice lollies.
I think Protyre should be very proud of their staff at the Mbro branch. We'll be recommending them and coming back for future repairs and MOT tests 👍.

Air con regas
Excellent service.
Phoned just after 9 am and was given useful advice over the phone and booked in for an air con regas later that morning.
When I arrived on site the staff were really helpful and polite.
In under an hour my car was sorted and they even checked the tyres and breaks for me.
I will certainly be back.

Asda supplied wrong tyre.
Asda sent a car rated tyre in stead of a van rated one.
So Protyre Middlesbrough supplied the correct tyre.
