The lads doing the job where very polite

Dishonest company that will damage your property
They came out to insulate my loft. They knocked a pipe to my boiler in the loft and made it leak. They made out it was already like this and told me the pipe needed to be nipped. I rang their company to say what had happened. They said they recorded it dripping, there was no damage, I've had the pipe nipped. The insurance company wouldn't pay out for this, swore at me and hung up on me. A very dishonest company that doesn't care if they damage your property while working.
They sent me a reply saying they offered to cover any costs repairing the damage which was a lie as he told me to f off. They said the jar was full on arrival and they pointed this out to me which is another lie. The jar was empty and under the valve too let water in the system. When they showed me it was full after they'd been their for a while, it had been moved directly under the boiler collecting a dripping from inside the boiler. So not only do they use dishonest people to carry out the work, they are prepared to blatantly lie about it to cover themselves. He didn't offer to cover costs to fix the leak from the boiler. But I didn't provide invoices for the damage as there was something under the leak to collect the water so there wasn't any damage. But he didn't ask for invoices he was more intent on getting rid of me. The board in the loft was sodden. He was more intent on blaming it on me over the phone, speaking aggressively so I wouldn't argue back to him. The fact he replied to this review with complete lies just shows how far he is prepared to go too try and cover himself.

We are very sorry that you feel our service was so poor to deserve the 1* rating. As you will see from all our reviews, when the unforeseen does happen we always respond and amend any issues. The boiler was already leaking prior to our arrival, and that a jug was already in place (and full) to collect dripping water, and this was highlighted by the installers on arrival. We have also offered to cover any costs incurred to rectify the alleged damage as a good will gesture, but on request you couldn't provide any invoices for the works completed. As a company we work tirelessly to ensure a positive customer experience and will ensue that all our future customers are left with a warmer home and positive view of Protec Insulation Services.

The service was faultless
The service was faultless, the two guys professional , friendly and respectful of the home put coverings down and tidied up, the work was outstandingly good , not an easy job ( very hot in the roof space ) , executed with stout heart and stamina and good humour.

Very impressed with the whole process…
Very impressed with the whole process from the surveyor who inspected our loft/s and explained what would be done. The installers were very professional and friendly and explained what they were going to do. They had a difficult journey to the Island but weren't stressed at all and got on with the job which they did well and in good time and cleared up afterwards! Payment process was made easy by the friendly lady at the end of the phone. All and all we a very pleased with the Protec team and would recommend them to friends. Thank you very much. The whole process was made very easy!
The whole process was made very easy by the friendly and helpful staff, the original inspection was completed in a short time, the order was placed and the install was booked, the install was earlier in the day than planned (which was good). It was a very warm day and the installer completed it without a hitch (the loft was very hot) it was all completed, install and paperwork in 2 Hrs and the house was left clean and tidy, very good job done.

Protec completed my loft insulation
Protec completed my loft insulation under the Green Homes Grant. The whole grant procedure was, to me, extremely complicated BUT Protec guided me step by step. The office staff were extremely patient and very helpful. The guys that actually did the work were friendly, efficient and tidy. Ensuring I was happy with everything before they left.
