Fast, affordable, expert service

ProSmart was attentive to my needs and gave me a much more affordable quote than any other long distance company for my situation. Everyone I worked with was responsive and very understanding, and the movers were fantastic - careful and very fast! Great experience, would definitely use them for my next move.

Be cautious using Ordo Moving - Pro Smart Movers

Be cautious using Ordo Moving – Pro Smart Movers. They were 18 business days delayed in delivering our belongings. They picked up our items April 18, 2025, using an unmarked white truck. We received our items July 21, 2025. They came in a Budget rental truck. There were two young men who were very attentive in bringing things in and worked hard. However, many of our boxes were crushed. One of our 55" TV was damaged beyond repair. Our $1800 mattress was strapped outside on the back of the truck doors. The mattress was soaked and had mud stains on it. To file a claim, the return would be 60 cents per pound. It's not based on the value of the item, only the weight.
This is the first time I've ever written a review on a company that treated their customer so poorly. You're handling people’s possessions, please hire personnel who actually care about doing a good job.

March 28th and still waiting for my stuff and its June…

I would like to say what I thought of these guys but still waiting on my stuff to arrive. They took my stuff march 28th and was told it would be here in Tucson around the first of April. And yes, I'm still waiting for it. Last Wednesday it was 13 hours away ( they said ) but it's still not here. Today they said it would be today or later tomorrow.Yes they said LATER, so this told me it wasn't coming today.
I am thinking it's way past getting a lawyer involved but better late then never. Ever try and live in a house and cook with a pot and 1 frying pan. Stay tuned how much longer it will be and how they make it up to me or will I be suing them.

California to Florida Move

I recently moved from California to Florida and had an absolutely incredible experience with ProSmart from start to finish. The process began in California where a team of movers met me at my storage unit. They arrived on time, came fully prepared, and handled every item with care. Anything that wasn’t already wrapped was carefully packaged and protected on the spot. The team loaded everything into my dedicated truck with extreme attention to detail—it was clear they truly cared about getting my belongings to their destination safely.

What really impressed me was the speed and efficiency of the transport. My entire truckload made it across the country in just 4–5 days, which is amazing for a cross-country move. When the truck arrived in Florida, I was met by a local team of three movers who were just as professional and courteous. They unloaded everything carefully and quickly, making sure nothing was damaged. They even helped set up furniture in my new unit—including reassembling my bed frame, which was a huge help.

From California to Florida, the entire process was seamless, organized, and stress-free. I truly can’t recommend this company enough. If you’re looking for a moving company that’s efficient, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about your belongings, this is the team to go with.

Avoid them

Avoid them, I described in details my moving items but when they arrived they change the quote 4 times more . They give you good quote to attract and then breaking their promise

Great experience, worth every penny!

Moving can be expensive, but this team made every dollar worth it. They came prepared, worked fast, and even helped me arrange furniture in my new place. I’m so grateful for their hard work and attention to detail.

Professional team with a great attitude!

Moving can be a hassle, but these guys were professional, efficient, and had such a positive attitude throughout the day. They worked quickly but carefully and really made the day enjoyable. Will definitely hire them again!

The booking process was straightforward and flexible. The two workers assigned to my move were timely, professional, and courteous. ProSmart Moving and Storage deserve zero stars!

If I could give ProSmart Moving and Storage zero stars I would. This is a horrible moving experience for my daughter. They lied to us several times about our shipment being loaded or has left or on the way. Now they said they can't find a truck. We have spent money on travel based on their word. They are not a good moving company. Do not use them for long-distance moves!

Worst experience ever

On December 26, 2023, we paid Metro Hop Relocation $11,814.00 for down payment of our move. Because many of the verbal phone agreements were not included in the final contract, we tried unsuccessfully to cancel the contract. The contract was to move items from Huntington Beach, CA to a San Jose, CA storage facility on February 10 for a period up to 30 days and then move some of the items to Redwood City, CA and the remaining items to Gig Harbor, WA. We paid Prosmart $9,345.00 on February 10. All items were to be delivered to the locations predetermined on the Bill of Lading contracts “within a reasonable time frame.” It has been three months since that move and we still have missing items. Our claim includes missing items: antique rug, pots/pans, wagon, wood rails, buffet table glass, stone and glass table top. Our claim includes broken items: Grecian Vase, hand carved tusks, washing machine, table buffet, Grandfather clock pendulum. We have called the dispatcher’s cell phone, customer service, and Ordo Moving many times over the last three months but they are no longer returning our calls. The dispatcher stated these items were in WA storage and would be delivered soon. We originally signed the contract with Metro Hop Relocation as they guaranteed our large and very heavy items would be moved without damage. We were especially concerned about a solid limestone dining room tabletop. We had several conversations with the Metro Hop dispatchers who assured us there would be sufficient crew to move the tabletop. When the tabletop arrived in WA, the crew refused to move the tabletop stating it was too heavy. We called the Prosmart dispatcher who indicated they would send another crew out the following week. The following week the same crew arrived and had my son assist with moving the tabletop. I would think there would be a liability issue with having non-employees move heavy items. The Gig Harbor crew took numerous 10-minute smoking breaks and complained about the job many times throughout the day. They left several items in the garage refusing to move them into the house. They stated they were not required to reassemble items (e.g., bed frames, etc.) nor take any packaging materials away. They left wood crates to transport our heavy items in the garage with nails sticking up. Several times they stated they did not make any money and needed a larger tip. (They would have received a larger tip had they done a better job.) While we do not believe in paying a bill in full until services have been rendered, Prosmart policy is that the bill is paid in full prior to delivery of items. We paid an additional $2,487.00 to the Redwood City, CA crew and an additional $2,487.00 to the Gig Harbor, WA crew. We would have waited for these two final payments, but the dispatcher would not offload any items until the bill was paid in full. In total, we paid over $26,000 for this move and three months later still have items missing along with broken items. We have all correspondence records including phone calls and text messages with dates showing our attempt at closing this transaction. We will be taking the company to court.

Extremely late and Unprofessional…

I was given a moving window from my building's management team for my move. This move was supposed to happen from 9am-1pm. The movers from Pro Smart Movers arrived at 3:15pm. I was charged a late fee from my building and the moving company showed no remorse or provided no compensation for their tardiness.

We interviewed 4 moving companies and chose Pro Smart Movers because of their professionalism, responsiveness, and reasonable cost. I corresponded with Joaquin Guzman who was very clear and helpful in explaining the process. The documents he emailed me described the process in much detail and nothing was ambiguous. The online site was awesome. The moving crew was also amazing and very easy to work with. I have moved three times across states, and I can say with confidence that Pro Smart Movers was by far the best I dealt with. Thank you, Juaquin!

Careless, No Integrity

They lost 10 boxes of +$5k value of contents. The customer service to resolve this was HORRIBLE and nothing was done to even try and remedy the loss. I wouldn't recommend this company to even my enemy. There are plenty more movers out there with integrity. Oh also, the final payment was 3x the amount I was quoted. Be careful!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, I HAVE REPORTED TO BBB

Everything about working with ProSmart Moving & Storage was a nightmare and unprofessional. I used a broker to move items across the country, who delegated the job out to ProSmart. I received notice that my items would be delivered a few weeks after my pickup, which was an expected timeline. The day before the communicated delivery date, I called to check in because I hadn't heard anything. They very casually mentioned that my things were delayed. Okay. After a few more days, I called in because I again hadn't heard anything and was told my things were further delayed. I tried to get context on what was the cause of the delay and was told a variety of things not limited to - the truck had issues, the driver was on another job, the driver needed to take a drug test, the driver was on the way, the driver was not on the way, etc. I was told everything would be sorted by the General Manager named John who was intensely involved in sorting out the issues. I asked to get John's number as I started to worry something was wrong. I was given a number for a driver named John. After calling back multiple times to get the other John's number, I spoke to a man that said he went by John, but he wasn't a general manager and wasn't particularly familiar with my case. He also didn't know why anyone said he was a General Manager. I asked my other contacts at ProSmart for clarity on who John was and what was his last name and received three different answers for what his name was. I began to think this was a scam operation and learned they had not followed all of the protocols outlined from the Dept of Transportation. Long story long, I did eventually receive a majority of my items, although I got a random text one night that the driver would be there the next morning (despite being told I would have at least 24 hours notice) and everyone was extremely blasé about some of the items being missing. The delivery person even casually mentioned those items may have been stolen along the way because they were things new in a box with a picture on the side. I was later told my items were found and I would be notified when they were mailed. That was 10 days ago, and I have heard nothing. If nothing else, please do NOT use ProSmart and google FMCSA moving scams before selecting a moving service.
