Lovely food - Disrespectful owner to long term customer

Lovely food, horrible owner

We were frequent customers of Pronto when in the mood for a pizza, they were local, the food was fantastic and it is well priced. All the things you want.

I would have called us regulars since it opened in Autumn 2019. However, that stopped after our last experience.

Upon arriving to pick up our usual phoned in order, the owner decided to shout at me because he demanded to know the name on the order. Since it's a phone order, they, themselves dont take names.

I tried to explain that there's no name but I was berated by the owner to give him a name, loudly shouting at me again and again. So I gave our name because there was no talking to him otherwise. Low and behold, the name wasn't in the system (like it would be on online).

I again said "we called in" and he decided to ignore me, pick up a ringing phone and let someone else talk to me. I then explained it and the other chap understood and got the order ready.

The owner, now off the phone, didn't look at me but handled the payment process. I paid and I asked him to not shout at his customers like that again.

Which led to more shouting from him and effectively him telling me to get loss and go somewhere else next time.

I had never been so shocked in my life at the actual attitude from a man, a business owner who knows us.

Absolutely shocked and insulted I just left with the food and informed others who visit and now we're staying away from Pronto going ahead.

9/10 on the food all the same. Just don't ring in.
