I agree with everyone else

I agree with everyone else. Promeai's attempts to censor has made the site worthless. 90% of what you try to upload and/or edit gets rejected as a "Content Violation." So I kept trying innocuous words like "mini" and "Even skin tones"--it all kept being rejected as content violations. Wanted to put lace on the sleeves of a woman's blouse. Nope. Wanted to remove an AI tattoo. Nope. Wanted to generate a miniskirt. Nope.

Worse, they still deduct from your credits even though they refuse to generate anything for those credits you spent. I went through 10 credits--which normally gets me 33 images--and ended up with four--FOUR--images for 10 credits because it kept telling me what I was trying to create was a content violation.

To top it off, the "Content Violation" says to "Please try again later"...Um, trying again later won't suddenly make it NOT be a content violation.

I've moved on. I suggest you not even start. Save your money and time and avoid this site like the plague. Whatever changes promeai has wanted to make has turned the site into a barely-usable AI image generator that steals your credits.

Do not use there are 100s of better alternatives Promeai is dead and rotting by the week

Prome AI is insanely sensitive to…

Prome AI is insanely sensitive to images you upload! You cannot have an appropriate female wearing a simple sundress without it stopping you, saying that it is content that is not appropriate... You've been warned, if you pay for the Prome AI you will be highly pissed when trying to use the Image replace feature or any prompt censored feature for that matter...

Horrible Censorship

Even harmless terms like “tongue,” “face,” “blood,” “fist,” “clothing,” “scream,” “upper body,” “bikini,” “legs,” and even skin tones like ‘black’ or “close-up” are now being censored because they're being viewed in a completely wrong context.

I wanted to turn an anime character into a real person, and it used to work, but now that’s no longer possible, because as soon as you use human skin—since it’s supposed to look like a real person—it gets censored immediately when combined with other words like “upper body.” That’s absolutely ridiculous.

A fight scene from a video game featuring a character like Reptile from Mortal Kombat, who has an extremely long tongue, has become nearly impossible to create due to censorship or requires a lot of patience.

On top of that, the results are looking worse and worse. Even the most expensive versions show pixel errors, ugly faces, and duplicate limbs.

With every update, the censorship gets worse, and you get the feeling they don’t want people to produce any more images or videos.

They take your money but censor your content so heavily that you can’t create anything anymore, and they don’t even respond to emails.

Promeai is currently destroying itself with this idiotic censorship, and it’s only a matter of time before people realize this and cancel their subscriptions.

Promeai used to be an excellent…

Promeai used to be an excellent text-to-image AI. Unfortunately, in recent weeks and months, increasing changes have been introduced. All of these changes have negatively impacted image quality. Many features and images that were possible a year ago are no longer available. Warning messages then appear stating that the images contain prohibited content.

Literally: Content violation, cannot be displayed.

What could possibly be considered prohibited content here is beyond me:

Irish fantasy pub background
Realistic woman with red hair
Warrior style costume
Rock music party
Professional flyer style

The coins... are still deducted.

Currently, 90% of the images are unusable because they simply don't show what's required. Even ChatGPT (and its engine is really strict) has higher quality and allows for much more. The images here show blurry and indistinct faces reminiscent of early text-to-image rendering, incorrect body parts, especially noses that aren't centered, hands with seven fingers, and multiple body parts...

I used to use Promeai regularly, but now it's useless. What's particularly bad is that the cheapest annual subscription costs almost $300 and is now unusable due to subsequent changes to the engine.

My conclusion: Stay away!

Update: In the meanwhile they use other AI instead of their own (like Kling, Flux, Sora and other)... so, it is not longer worth to try. And also the Content Filter are so strict that most of pictures can´t be generarted.

disputable practice

The handling, possibilities and results are alright.
But I paid $ 39 for 2.000 credits without renewal, used about 500 of them and after a month the rest of it was deleted.
Yeah, in some way it was my own stupidity since they mention that practice in the fine print. But still - it's a scam in my book if the credits you pay for get canceled. 2.000 credits equal 200.000 pictures. How the hell should someone work on that many pictures in one month?

They don’t give you what you pay for

They don’t give you what you pay for. I purchased 1,800 credited for $39 then after a month my cc was automatically charged another $39 which was fine. The only problem was that they didn’t give me another 1,800 credits. Back and forth with Yuki Z. on email was a disaster. For a pretty robust ai website the customer service is terrible. Will be taking my business elsewhere solely for that.

His response

“Hi,
Thanks for your outreach, we have found that you have a significant amount of usage records, which likely means that your credits are depleted”

Is he guessing? He doesn’t even know my renewal date. He was off by two days. Ridiculous. I still have 1,300 credits left but that’s besides the point. Can’t charge me then not give me credits, it’s unheard of.

The Ai aspect has many possibilities

The Ai aspect has many possibilities, they seem to have a wide range of content and variation. Ai doesnt seem to understand many commands in the prompt, so it asks for some own-side editing many times. But thats overshadowed by initial output most of the times. Even though. Their site is slow, it disconnects many times. Image generation failed, uploading failed, not loading assets, not generating, kicking, waisting coins, there are even queus that will get as long as minutes before generating... A real downside, which makes this sites AI output quality extraordinary good, but only after much puzzling with commands and struggling with connectivity, so with a low frequency.
