Do not use Prolineroofingexperts

I had a similar unfortunate experience with Prolineroofingexperts.ca in October 2025. A couple of fast-talking salesman drove by my house and noticed loose shingles. One of them went on the roof and began to rip off shingles by hand. He refused to tarp the exposed area to allow me time to get another opinion. They promised to fix the shingles the next day so I signed a contract for shingles. They exaggerated the damage and the price and I ended up paying $37,000 for a complete new roof. All the beams and plywood was replaced or repaired. I never received the before photos of damage that I had asked for before proceeding so I presumed there was nothing serious. I also paid cash to a numbered company. Six weeks later they told me I also had mold in my attic and offered to fix it for an extra $12,000. This time I got a second opinion and there was no mold. My experience was forwarded to the CTV tv host of Consumer Reports.

Avoid this company at all costs!

Avoid this company at all costs!
They showed up a few months after they did our roof (we unfortunately believed them when they claimed extra work on the frame was necessary—cost $20000)
Now claiming the frame needed more work after they looked into our attic. They left the partition to the attic open and then blocked all our calls. Very sketchy. I hope the materials at least will stand another few years; but we know we were scammed.

This company gives a good price for a…

This company gives a good price for a roof repair to get the business and after the roof is partially completed and the second story is open to the weather, the hike the price from 4,600 to 21,500 with no option but to proceed. They did this on 3 houses that I recommended. One owner said they wanted 30,000. I discovered at least two other reviews where they did exactly the same thing. They LIED and blocked phone lines and refused to answer emails. Their advertised business address does not physically exist. They continually pressured for only cash which was paid to numbered companies. They used cheaper material that was clearly stated they didnt use, prior to the work. Their warranty or questions are useless, when they block any access and dont even have a business location. I would highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs and hope they will be held accountable. One star is more than they deserve.

I hired Proline Roofing Experts - Proceed with Caution

I hired Proline Roofing Experts to replace my shingles. The work on my home seemed fine — they did the job and cleaned up well.

However, my elderly neighbour’s experience was very different. The company told her I personally knew the owner (which is completely false) to gain her trust. She ended up paying much more than I did. Now they are ignoring her calls and texts.

Lying to secure work and avoiding customers afterward is highly suspicious and unacceptable. While my job looked fine on the surface, I’m now questioning whether or not I can trust the quality of their work and the products they used. Proceed with caution.

Make sure to obtain several quotes from different roofing companies and make sure you understand the details before hiring!
