Nice user experience, and a nice way of actually making some money on the side without getting scammed. Also, a nice platform to get participants for a study (we got our 250 participants for our BA thesis within two days).

Feels very secure, and they do good job of paying you correctly and quickly.

No problems at all with the surveys or getting paid. The more time you put into the surveys, the more you can earn. I don't think you can support a family on it but a little extra spending money for answering some questions is ok.

Prolific is easy to use and offers reliable surveys. I like that payments are clear and studies are straightforward to complete. The platform is user-friendly, trustworthy,pay fairly and support is helpful.

All make you think a bit, and some quite a lot.
Payment is generally quite fair, and actually often above the rate offered by generalised survey platforms.
With the added bonus that you are contributing to some genuine research, and not just marketing fluff.

I enjoy learning with the platform

Was great to start with. Earned a good amount and then they placed my account on hold. No explanation why and when I raised a concern they said they will not provide a reason why and their decision is final but have a list of possible reasons, none of which I did at all. Some researchers ask you a question, when you answer the question truthfully, they time you out and tell you you're not suitable and then you come back as rejected which then causes issues for your account. There are technical issues with some researchers and you are timed out, or something researchers give a time limit on completion but they repeat questions over and over with no indication of how far along you are in the questionnaire. The fact that customer service either ignore you, or tell you their decision is final whether you like it or not and won't give an answer is absolutely unprofessional. You have to take security checks and send you ID to them, yet they don't give you a chance.

I have been participating in Prolific surveys for about 3 weeks now. It has been pretty positive. I log in after dinner and I usually get about 4-6 surveys a night. I typically spend 20-40 minutes a night. I get screened out of a lot of surveys. Nevertheless, I have made about $100. So, not a lot of money, but it doesn't even feel like work really. Who doesn't like being asked their opinion?

I love the company itself, but many of the researchers waits until you complete the entire survey then find a way to disqualify you causing you to waste your time, and not get compensated. You completely gives them an interview for free after you were offered compensation.

Prolific is by far my favourite platform for different studies, surveys and more. It supports a wide variety of devices. I’m waiting for my new MacBook to arrive so I can do desktop tasks. The pay is usually reasonable enough, and the approval time has been slow on a few submissions, but the majority have come through quickly.

Moreover they have a low cash-out amount so you can transfer your earnings to PayPal or wherever usually within a few minutes.

Studies aren’t available all the time, I wish there were more. But I’m hoping that will improve in time after conducting more research tasks.

Answering questions on prolific is easy and smooth

Unlike other study sites, most of the time you are actually able to take the surveys/studies and don't get screened out. When you are screened out, most of the time you get a small payment. Definitely the best survey for money site out there. I've made ~$350 in two weeks.

I feel like I am matched to appropriate studies. Studies are very transparent in their predicted duration. I have not experienced any major technical issues.
