Cracking and non-breathable render - doesn’t honour guarantee
My house is living proof that this coating DOES crack, and it cracks big time. It also doesn’t breathe like they claim, so creates significant internal damp issues. I reported this to the company 2 years ago (only 5 years after the coating was applied) but they refused to honour the guarantee because I had purchased the home and not transferred the warranty quickly enough. The warranty should be for their product applied to a property, not to the person who originally paid for it to be applied. Since then, it’s gone from bad to worse and I’m now having to have it all stripped off at great cost and replaced with a proper breathable and durable render.
I wouldn’t bother, especially if you have an older home - you will end up with significant costs to fix the internal problems caused by this non-breathable and cracking render, even if they do come and fix the external cracks for you.
Also to the company, please don’t respond to me with a patronising comment that you have 12000 happy customers. What a load of rubbish.
