We was happy overall

I ordered my print on new years eve as a belated gift for my mother in law for her birthday on the 8th Jan. Unsre whether it would arrive in time and having not heard from the company since order confirmation we emailed them explaining we wanted to item for a gift for a certain date. Somebody emailed me back the same day advising the item was being prepared and they would get back to me with prices for faster delivery services. The next day the print was at my door -- very early also, the driver knocking on my door at about 9AM! So it arrived well within time, they never charged me for the 24hr courier and by the time they emailed tracking, the parcel was already with me. And even better, we loved the print and knew our mother in-law would love it too.
Overall we are very pleased with our experience with these people and will be using them again.

Not happy!!

I am still awaiting any kind of response from this company, I have emailed 3 occassions to ask them to get in contact. The prints I ordered were for Christmas presents, and it looks like, this close to the big day, I am going to have to go else where and spend some more money on an alternative gift.
Im really upset that not only have I not recieved what I have paid for (they were very quick to take the money) but that I have had no response to my emails either.
I found this company under the name 'create my canvas', but think they have also traded under the name 'photo gift solutions'.
Im very upset, I am a single parent, and money is tight at the best of times, but this time of year its such a worry........I am happy to retract this if I get a response or my goods sent through.
Very sad and disappointed, wrong especially at this time of year to con people.

Appalling customer service

After waiting nearly a month to receive the canvas I ordered, the resultant print was distorted to an unusable amount. The image was squashed into the print area rather than cropped and the result was was clearly wrong, even without comparison to the original file. This indicates that their is no quality control as the level of distortion was very apparent for the image supplied. It should have been picked up at an early stage and, as with other print companies, an email sent or phone made call to check if this is correct.
Upon contacting the company, their initial response was to deny responsibility, blaming it on their upload software and placing the blame on myself for not checking an on-line thumbnail. Their upload software obviously causes the issue as a subsequent attempt to upload again distorted the image making it impossible to achieve an acceptable result.
On trying to pursue the issue further PrintNine's representative replied in an unexpectedly aggressive email, indicating that any attempt to return the canvas for review and possible refund would be rejected and, if it was accepted by mistake, I would be liable to the cost of return postage.
Aside from the fact that the print was badly finished, the image was distorted beyond use and it took a month to deliver the canvas, their approach to customer service is alarmingly aggressive. their approach is obviously a "like it or lump it" one and any attempt at resolving the problem becomes an exercise in shifting the blame onto the customer.
I'm saddened by this as I don't like to leave negative feed back, but due to the complete lack, or even an attempt at customer service, I would regrettably be unable to recommend the company's services to any of my friends, who include a great number of photographers.
I suggest that the effectiveness of their on-line uploader is reviewed and a course in customer service is undertaken as both of these factors have ensured that, unless addressed, I can never consider using their services in the future.
Please note: Anthony McClennan who wrote the previous 5 star review on this page, seems to have exactly the same name as the person who responded to emails on behalf of PrintNine - I'm sure this is probably just a coincidence....

Excellent customer service & prices

I couldnt find the right size on their website so emailed them for assistance. They went out of their way to explain all of the sizes they offer that would fit my image. They also offered to apply free effects to the image which turned out really nice.
Best of all the price was ridiculously low I waas worried quality wouldnt be great - but when it arrived I was so pleased with the high quality finish and detail in the print.
