Parcel lost using their return label – refund refused

Extremely poor experience with Printemps and their returns process.

I returned my order using the prepaid return label provided by Printemps. The first label they issued was not usable (the Post Office confirmed it had already been used), so I had to contact them again to obtain a second label.

I then returned the parcel correctly on 19 February 2026 using the second label. I have full proof of postage, and the tracking (CU172601872GB) clearly shows that the parcel was accepted, exported from the UK, and reached the destination country before being lost in transit.

I contacted the carrier directly, and they confirmed that the parcel is lost. They also clearly stated that I am not authorised to open a claim, as the return label was issued by Printemps — meaning Printemps is responsible for handling this with the carrier.

Despite this, Printemps has refused to issue a refund, claiming they have not received the parcel. They are ignoring the fact that I followed their return process correctly and that the parcel was lost after being handed over to their chosen carrier.

They are effectively shifting responsibility onto the customer for a failure within their own return system and logistics network.

I have provided all required evidence, including proof of postage and tracking, yet my refund is still being refused.

This has caused unnecessary stress, delays, and a very poor customer experience.

I will now be escalating this matter further, including initiating a chargeback and contacting the relevant consumer protection bodies.

I am happy to update this review if the issue is resolved and my refund is processed.

In accordance with our procedure, only an investigation conducted by the carrier—as the issuer of the shipping label—can confirm the loss of the package and allow us to proceed with your case. This investigation was closed by the carrier, indicating that the items were not received by them.

Do not buy

Do not buy. Not unless you’re 100% sure you want it.
Returns policy is appalling. They do not acknowledge receipt of returns and only when you ask where your refund is do they say “its damaged”.
They have never evidenced damage (seriously disputed. I know what I returned)
They ignore the fact that they have my money and the original goods.
£140 in their pocket. I have nothing!

I challenge you to do the right thing - refund my money. Current situation is theft.

Terrible

Terrible, Terrible company. Dishonesty at it's finest. Still awaiting a refund of £130.
They just mess you around and lie, it's outrageous.
People, just dont is all I can say.
Thankfully I payed via PayPal and they are helping ,but this company are even giving PayPal the runaround!
The refunded £8 out of £138 and logged as refunded on the website.
They hide behind no communication or communication that is wrong ,just to confuse. But they are hiding behind a smokescreen of not intending to pay at all.
Please read all the feedback here as it's not just me sadly. Wish I had looked beforehand! Lesson learnt!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE!!!

⁷This is the worst store to order from. I ordered a napajiri jacket small they sent me XXL no one can use and never returned my reply despite many messages. I am now fighting it with paypal for over 2 months and they want me to pay for return shipping for their own screw up. . Ps they shut down many stores because their customer service is very very bad. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THIS STORE ONLINE. . They still owe me 177.00 euros! Real AHOLES

Replying to Printemps: i already sent you everything including photographs and copy of the transaction- you sent paypal a message that I can return it for free and can download the prepaid return ticket but its a trick because since I did not subscribe I cannot download the etiquette hence I can't access the free return nor your address . So im stuck with the XXL jacket. Ps it was a gift for a kid that's why I ordered a Small. Now no one can use it because you refuse to email me the free return document with your address. Im glad your physical stores are closing. No one should have to lose money trying to buy a gift for their family. You guys are bad apples, rotten to the core. Ill try and give it away to a large homeless person that can use it instead of being upset about it.

Import duty required

Ordered on 27.12.25. Contacted by DPD to pay customs. Printemps would not pay as they said this would not happen although I sent them proof. I paid the customs so I could receive my order. On 12.01.26 someone finally acknowledged it was human error and apologised that I had to pay customs, they asked for my bank details which I sent and advised I would be reimbursed in 2-3 weeks. It is now over a month later, of course I haven’t received this reimbursement promised and when emailing to follow up, they are once again saying I did not have customs. Seriously bad customer service and I can’t believe I am about to go around the same loop of providing proof. I will not order from here again.

Still no reimbursement for the customs/ import duty despite being told it was processed on 25.02.26. I think they want me to give up, but I will not be giving up out of principle. I am visiting Paris next month so if I do not have a reimbursement by then, I will be going into the store and speaking with management. Honestly abysmal

They advised the refund did not process as my IBAN is incorrect. This is inaccurate because I lierally sent them a bank statement showing the IBAN. I have advised if I am not refunded by 20.04.26 I intend to proceed with legal action. This is a small amount but this is out of principle

This a fraud website I have made an…

This a fraud website I have made an order their shipment fees was double what all other sales charge then when I came to return and get refunded I find out they will charge £10 for no reason which was really weird this is a day light rubbery.
I have been trying over an hour to issue a return the automated chat service send me a link when I click on it it says no items to be returned!
Though I have my email address I used to purchase and the order number.
Other method was to click on the link attached to the email and same answer no items been find to return.
Basically I assume they will waste the 30 days so they don’t return the item.

Most terrible costumer service they won’t refund my money it’s been 2 months already. They always come up with the same lies and reasons, don’t order from them they will steal your money. I’m glad I took this to my lawyers and the Ecc department in Europe. Next step is the police. Order number

No delivery, no reply.

Purchased 2 items at the beginning of January. Tracking states that the items are held in customs, awaiting shippers instruction. Contacted customer service several times without reply. Still no delivery 20 days on. Had to start a chargeback through my bank to retrieve the funds. Avoid at all costs.

First Class Prompt Service

i just want to leave a review as i feel like people are quick to condemn but not so quick to leave a good review.
i ordered a pair of Tommy Hilfiger trainers on Tuesday night and they arrived with perfect promptly on Friday.
yes, Maybe the site is a little hard to fathom in English but HEY, this is a French company.
i couldn't find the pair i wanted on any English site but Primtempts had them and at a sale price.
i always read trust Pilot ( due to past experiences) but found this whole experience to be top drawer and i got the trainers i wanted.
will be shopping again...thank you
