I was fooled…but!

Spent more money on a premiere “Island View” at Bayside Inn in Key Largo and it was misleading…There’s no view from the room: a parking lot and a gravel driveway. Spent more money and didn’t need to. Get the basic room because you won’t spend time in it!

Then upon check in when they told us first floor facing the parking lot, Priceline would not transfer us to another Priceline property and was going to charge $20 less than the actual reservation to cancel and rebook another more expensive hotel. They mislead you and then won’t rectify.

Now, what saved it was walking around the corner and seeing the “backyard”! Beautiful sand “jetty” out to a quaint dock with the best view! We spent all of our time out there, to the wee hours of the morning, enjoying the live music from Snooks next door and the lights along the docks. The dock is spectacular and worth the money, as long as you like being outdoors with no balcony or view from the room. Paddle boards were great and included! Just don’t be fooled thinking the view is from the room…around the corner, it’ll be worth it!

I purchased a pay up front rental car…

I purchased a pay up front rental car because Priceline stated I had unlimited mileage. Once I paid and submitted I received an email from the rental company stating I had limited mileage. I can't get in contact with anyone at Priceline except for AI Penny is of no use to me.
Use Expedia moving forward!

Worst company to book with

Booked a round trip to San Juan PR, the itenerary says it is round trip yet my flight there ends in Orlando, but return flight comes from SJU. When I called them to correct this, they told me I would have to book a connecting flight separate from the booking.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a very serious incident that occurred during my stay at the Holiday Inn Greenbelt on the evening of May 13, 2026, between approximately 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

During our stay, another guest entered our room using a key that had been issued by the front desk. At the time, my girlfriend was in the process of dressing, making the situation extremely alarming, invasive, and unacceptable. This incident represented a serious breach of guest privacy and safety.

After the guest exited the room, he returned to the front desk and spoke with a male employee working there. I immediately attempted to express my anger and concern regarding what had just happened, but I was dismissively waved off with a hand gesture. The employee then stated, “I gave him the key, everything’s okay.” That response was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and showed a disturbing lack of concern for the seriousness of the situation.

As a result of this incident, my girlfriend was extremely uncomfortable and had difficulty sleeping throughout the night.

The following morning, on May 14, 2026, at approximately 9:10 AM while returning our room keys, I again addressed the matter with the front desk attendant. Her response was that she was already aware and that the employee “made a mistake.” Unfortunately, she also displayed an attitude that came across as dismissive and unconcerned, which only added to our frustration.

This experience fell far below the standards of professionalism, safety, and customer care that guests should reasonably expect from a hotel operating under the Holiday Inn brand. A hotel issuing a room key to the wrong guest is a serious security failure that should never occur.

I expect a formal apology regarding this incident, as well as a full refund for our stay. I also strongly recommend that management review security procedures and camera footage related to this matter to ensure accountability and prevent similar incidents from happening to future guests.

I had a bad experience with Priceline…

I had a bad experience with Priceline today and recommend never to use a third party reservations thru online agents. I paid $1998 to book flight to India for 2 passengers. I had to rebook for end July travel. KLM priced $550 for flight change but asked to get changes thru agent. Priceline gave me $2300+ to change the date!! Is this not a rip off? New tickets for 2 passengers on same date costs $1316!!
Never get trapped by Priceline deals.

Unable to cancel a reservation or even talk to a person to do so. All of the phone numbers hang up on you.

NEVER BOOK WITH THIS SERVICE. ONCE THEY GET YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER YOU ARE ALWAYS LOCKED IN EVEN IF YOUR PLANS CHANGE! BEWARE PLEASE BEWARE.

Pleasant Experience

I had a wonderful experience booking my flight to Ghana for my grandmother's funeral, and much of my experience i owe to the representative I worked with Broderick. Broderick was so efficient and pleasant to work with over the course of 2 days to be able to book this trip not only for myself but for me and my family members as well. There was even a slight hiccup where due to the amount of the tickets we had to pay for them separately, Broderick was able to follow up with me the next day and ensure I was able to book the tickets at the same price. Thank you so much to Priceline and Broderick for the experience.

BEWARE OF ROOM PRICE VS TOTAL FEES & TAXES

First night booked a room at $65 and had tax & fees added at $9.75. Booked the next night and got the room for $62 BUT TAX & FEES AT $29.25. Taked to 3 people. there and nobody can explain or breakdown the fees. Thought I has checked out the total amount. before confirming but apparently did not.

Getting to Route to pickup the rental i was asked to buy insurance regardless of my valid insurance with i showed the CSR, I refused and up till today May 21st 2026, the charges for the rental is yet to be refunded. After wasting so much call credit talking to PRICELINE for refund. I will advise everyone to stay away

I booked through Priceline to get my 16 year old to Miami. I typed in her information and then when I paid for it under my name the name changed on the ticket to mine. When i realized it was in my name I called them and they told me too bad-they can’t do anything-they didn’t even try to help. He just kept repeating-there is nothing we can do. We can’t help you-nothing!! Like-let’s try to rebook under your daughter’s name. Let me help you with filing a claim to try to recoup some of your money-even though it was completely on us! So frustrating-I will NEVER do business with them again. Now I’m out almost 600 bucks-which I can’t afford and my daughter doesn’t have a way to get to Miami for her trip. What a piece of garbage company!

Dexter was very helpful! he was patient and make sure to give me all the details I needed. we reviewed everything a few times before I made my purchase just to make sure it was right. he called me back as he had said he would. also give me all the information I needed to make a good decision on which trip I want and I booked my trip successfully

The customer service is switched to Ai…

The customer service is switched to Ai that does not answer or say anything over the line. There is no way to talk to a person for a refund request.

The only way is to call their Ai. THis is not a frictionless experience.

I will not be coming back to Priceline. You just ruined customer experience.

Don't waste your time with Priceline

The customer service at Priceline was disappointing to say the least. I had an unexpected change in my trip out of my control. I called the hotel and they would have accommodated the change. Priceline would not. Other booking agencies have been helpful when an emergency has come up in the past. This one was not. My recommendation: Book directly with a hotel or make reservations elsewhere. Priceline is a scam!

Absolute worst in every way.

Absolute disgrace - no car - no way to contact except broken international numbers or useless borderline belligerent AI chatbot.

I booked a car rental in Crawley through them that required up front payment with online checkin to speed on site as a feature and one reason I chose that particular one. After getting the confirmation email - Online check-in did not work, the supplier (Flexways car rental) phone number was an Argentinian country code and wouldn’t connect (generic network message saying it can’t connect to this number), and Priceline’s support number also wouldn’t connect (same generic network message) - the only other method to contact either company I could find was Priceline’s AI chatbot - which just kept repeated that it would not change or cancel the booking (“I am not going to” not even “I can’t” or “it’s not possible” with no further explanation - even when asking questions totally unrelated to that. The fact they couldn’t even be bothered making the AI chatbot polite is revealing of how they view their customers.

The collection location was a business park with no specific unit number given, and on arrival I could find no unit for Flexway. Business park reception desk was unmanned & no buzzer or bell to call or let them know someone is waiting. I waited what felt like a long time and nobody showed up and ended up having to give up after a wasted Uber trip to get there and having to find a last minute alternative!

Above and Beyond Customer Service from Broderick

Broderick was excellent to work with. He helped me through the booking process when the website itself was giving conflicting information. What stood out most was his integrity and honesty — he wasn’t just focused on making a booking. Instead, he genuinely cared about giving the right answers to my concerns and making sure everything was handled correctly.

He went above and beyond his normal responsibilities to help, and I truly appreciated his professionalism, trustworthiness, and dedication. Excellent customer service from start to finish.

This website is a scam

This website is a scam, and I wish I had checked Trustpilot before booking my car. I am a UK traveller and was already in Orlando without a car, as I thought I could manage without one, but I was wrong. Priceline popped up at the top and was a very good price for a week's car hire. I carefully read about the insurance requirements, as I know a lot of car rental companies like to add their protector on top. However, I did not notice anywhere where it said that I had to buy the insurance through the car hire company. Car rental insurance is included as part of my credit card.

I went to pick the car up, showed them my insurance, and immediately, without even looking at it, he said, "No, if you have an international licence, you can't provide your own insurance." I said, "Okay, not a problem, how much is yours?" thinking it would be around $10 to $20 a day. I was completely wrong; it was $400 for six days, absolutely disgusting.

I walked out of there, got a taxi to the airport, which was about five minutes away, and hired one with Budget, absolutely no issues. Yes, it was double the cost of the booking, but I should have gone there first. Within five minutes at the Budget counter, I was in my nice shiny new car with no additional insurance requirements.

The guy at the car hire counter with Priceline said, "Not a problem, I'll cancel the booking and you'll get a refund." Absolutely no refund. The man is a liar, and now Priceline are telling me that they have a no-refunds policy. Absolute scam. You wouldn't be able to get away with this in the UK.
