Dormer window and Skylight Window

We ordered a dormer and a skylight window from Prefatech in April last year. The initial conversation went well, and based on that we decided to proceed. Prefatech shared a quotation and explained that the payment would be done in three phases. We placed the order in mid‑May, made the first payment, and were told the dormer would be delivered in July. One week before the scheduled installation, they sent the second invoice, which we also paid immediately.
Unfortunately, this is where the problems started.
From July onward, the installation was repeatedly delayed. Every time we called, we received a new excuse — customers not paying, summer vacation, planning issues, and other unclear reasons. The dates kept changing: July became August, then September, then early October. None of these commitments were kept.
They finally came in mid‑October to install the dormer. We expected both the dormer and the skylight to be installed, but they only completed the dormer. When we contacted them again about the skylight, they said it would be done in November. That also never happened. Later they told us the skylight was broken. After that, communication stopped almost completely.
For months, we have been calling hundreds of times. Messages go unanswered. If someone does pick up, they say “Pascal will call you,” but he never does.
I even wrote a review in January 2026, after which Pascal called me and promised everything would be completed by March 20th. Now he is not answering again, and the latest information we heard is that it might be done in June — more than eight months after full payment for the skylight.
At this point, we deeply regret choosing this company. We paid in full, waited patiently, and tried to communicate respectfully, but we have not received the product we paid for or any reliable updates.
Based on our experience, I strongly advise others not to order from Prefatech and to choose another vendor.
We hope our experience helps others make a better decision.
