1st. The clinic was easy to find.
2nd. I was accompanied from start to finish and walked to my transport.
3rd Met with Dr Faitova (surgeon) who gave me an honest opinion, she discussed what she was going to do and really made sure that she was going to get me the best outcome.
4th. The surgery, I had done under a local. Now I did think I’d see what was going on - you do not see anything.
5th. If you’ve had Botox you’ll sail through the injections around the eye, easy.
6th. The surgery. Never felt a thing.
7th. Here we go: Be shocked when you 1st see yourself, remember this is major surgery and you will not come out of the operating theatre looking like an angelic angel with flawless features (far from it) swelling but no pain.
8th. When you get back to your hotel or home it is vital to have a cold face pack for your eyes, make sure you put this on as often as possible and I mean as often, again no pain, swelling yes.
9th. Day 3 and 4 as stated this is the worse time - swelling WOW.
10th. Day 5 okay. Day 6 I took off my strips which were over the stitches what a relief and here’s the AMAZING thing.
The strips came off and I was literally stunned by the fantastic job Dr Faitova had done. I cannot see where the stitches have been put in, I cannot see any signs of the surgery apart from the now mild bruising and swelling.
What can I say, simply AMAZED by the skill and I would go as far as saying ART work on my eyes.
I’m 100 percent positive that in the following week my bruising will go down and long term I will not see any scaring.
Super, super happy already.
Would I go back for more work YES but I won’t be, I’m going with the flow of aging now; she says !
However I will recommend anyone who considers plastic surgery to use Dr Faitova.
Stop scrolling as I did for over a year, I looked and looked, I had whatapps and emails, consultations, looked at prices, my options, bla, bla,
Stop looking as Dr Faitova is your girl..

I started my enquiry by talking to Jana regarding laser eye surgery she was amazing from the start she sorted everything out for me with confidence! I had the procedure done on the 6-7thJan 2026 and can honestly say everything ran so smoothly I have no problems in recommending Praga Medica they have transformed my eye sight at a fraction of the cost in the uk and I’m overwhelmed by the results and care I was given! I am now considering having rhinoplasty with the company! 🩷

Very professional service from start to finish. Picked up from the airport and taken to our hotel. went for initial eye examination next day. Bilateral surgery was carried out and clinic staff were very friendly and made you feel at ease during the procedure. Next day I could see an improvement in my vision and it has only got better since. After wearing glasses for the last 40 years it is a life changing experience. Could not recommend Praga Medica and Neovize highly enough.

I had my treatment organized through Praga Medica and overall I was very satisfied with the entire process. The communication was clear and reliable, which made me feel well taken care of from the very beginning.
I would especially like to highlight Marketa, who supported me throughout the process. She was always friendly, helpful, and took care of everything, which gave me a very reassuring feeling.
The organization around the procedure was mostly smooth. Appointments, processes, and all important information were explained clearly, which gives you a lot of confidence, especially when having a treatment abroad. Everything also worked well on-site.
The treatment itself took place at the Forme Clinic in Prague, with which I was also very satisfied. Dr. Berkes did an excellent job, and the entire team on-site was professional and friendly. To be honest, even the food there was really perfect – I didn’t expect that at all.
I deducted one star because the response times were sometimes a bit slower than I would have liked. It’s nothing major, but there is still some room for improvement in that area.
Overall, I can definitely recommend Praga Medica as well as the Forme Clinic. If you are looking for well-organized and stress-free support for medical treatment abroad, this is a great choice.

After having lense replacement 3yrs ago,everything was fine for the first 8 months then i started to get floaters in my eyes causeing blurryness.i returned to the surgery,and they diagnosed secondary cataract which i payed a further 500 euro,they said i would have no more trouble.Now to the present day my eyes are worse still floaters ,black dots every day i am really depressed and frustrated,i have seen a specialist and was told its a gel in the back of the eyes that breaks down.i am so dissapointed and wish i never had them done costing all that money for this outcome.

We would like to clarify that the YAG laser procedure performed for a secondary cataract (posterior capsule opacification) address clouding behind the artificial lens and is not related to the presence of floaters or black dots in the vision.
The symptoms you describe are most commonly associated with changes in the vitreous (the gel at the back of the eye). These changes can occur naturally over time and are not directly caused by the lens replacement surgery itself, although patients may become more aware of them over time.

My husband and I traveled to Prague for…
My husband and I traveled to Prague for an upper blepharoplasty, and I also underwent a breast explantation with reaugmentation. From start to finish, our experience was excellent.
Caroline from Praga Medica served as our patient liaison and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She answered all of our questions regarding the procedures, pricing, accommodations, and pre-operative consultation. She was also present at the facility on the morning of surgery, which was very reassuring.
Caroline was always prompt and responsive whenever I reached out via email. If she didn’t have an immediate answer, she would consult with the doctor and follow up quickly. Her professionalism and attentiveness remained consistent from the very first inquiry through post-operative appointment scheduling.
We are currently two weeks post-procedure and still healing, but so far we are very pleased with our experience. Based on our journey, I would recommend Praga Medica to anyone considering traveling to Prague for medical treatment.

From the first contact with Praga Medica From pre operative to post operative care I had a positive experience. My first contact was with Markêta who talked me through all the arrangements, transparent costs, photos of Dr Lohtsky’s previous work, dates, transfers, appointments etc I was put at ease and kept in regular contact. I was provided with lovely chaperones to meet me at the clinic to ensure I was able to communicate with all staff at reception. The Forme clinic where the surgery was performed was spotlessly clean and welcoming. All the staff, receptionists, GP, Nurses, Anaesthetist and Dr Lohtsky himself were absolutely wonderful. Very happy with the care I received they went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and felt safe in their hands. Very happy with the redultd. Dr Lohtsky talked me through everything (has fantastic English so no problems with understanding and communication). I explained exactly what I wanted and did not want to ensure a natural looking result and I am very happy with the results. Thoroughly recommend.

Would i recommend Praga Medica: absolutely
I can only recommend Praga Medica to anyone who is looking in getting surgery done in Czech Republic.
What you will get when you book your surgery via Praga Medica:
* They make sure the treatment is done by the best surgeons available. They only work with well renowned and trustworthy surgeons.
* The chance to already get a lot of information prior to the surgery itself. Any questions you might have are already addressed by them upfront.
* They will send someone to accompany you on the day of the surgery, to make sure you are properly "checked in" and to ensure smooth communication with the surgeon
* They will send someone to "pick you up" after the surgery to check on how the surgery went and to make sure everything went all right.
* They will make sure that the aftercare instructions are well understood AND will provide you with continuous support in the weeks and months after the surgery.
I cannot stress how important this last aspect is:
- Praga Medica will check up with you on a regular basis, even after the surgery is over and you went back to your country of residence
- Got any concerns, questions on the recovery phase, things you would like to ask the surgeon?
-> Praga Medica got you covered
-> Even months after my surgery, I am still in close contact with my surgeon thanks to the Praga Medica team who is acting as an intermediary.
Overall, I can only say i am very happy with the service provided by Praga Medica. Choosing them made my surgery a stress-free and smooth experience.

I had my RLE (refractive lens exchange)…
I had my RLE (refractive lens exchange) procedure carried out at Praga Medica, and the entire experience from start to finish was excellent.
From my very first contact with Jana, the patient coordinator, I felt completely at ease. She was professional, responsive, and genuinely caring, always taking the time to answer my questions clearly and promptly. That initial communication set the tone for everything that followed.
The clinic itself was efficient and well-organised, and the staff were consistently friendly and reassuring. Every step of the process was explained in a way that made me feel confident and informed, which is so important when you’re dealing with something as significant as eye surgery.
As for the results, I’m genuinely delighted. My vision has improved dramatically, and the outcome has exceeded my expectations. It’s quite an emotional experience to see so clearly again without relying on glasses, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.

It took me years to research and decide…
It took me years to research and decide the best place for my surgery.
