Wow ….BEAWARE IF YOUR ORDERING USING YOUR BUSINESS BANK CARD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ordered a makita saw bench. Arrived in a plain cardboard box upon opening found item not to be in a makita box and badly packed in dirty polystyrene. Upon inspection no assembly bolts , tools or instructions
Rang to ask for bolts to be sent. Told I need to send back everything. Needed this bench quickly for a job I was doing so I ordered from another supplier . I’ve now been informed that because I paid on my business card that the order is classed as a trade sale and the terms and conditions state that i can only have a credit not a payment refund even though it arrived with parts missing
Imagine if you paid a grand for a tool that arrived faulty and u had to quickly get one from another supplier and you could only get a credit for that amount. I’m proceeding with a charge back from my bank. Don’t order from Powertool World you’ve been warned. !!

I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this company.

I ordered a drill driver set and paid in good faith, but the goods never arrived. DPD failed to deliver the order and subsequently lost the package. When I contacted PTW, their response was that there was nothing they could do.

I reminded PTW that my contract was with them, not DPD, and that it was their responsibility to resolve the issue with their delivery provider. Unfortunately, their handling of the situation was extremely disappointing and demonstrated a lack of ownership or customer service.

As a result, PTW lost the sale and received a poor review. Staff should be properly trained to deal with missing orders and take responsibility for resolving problems, rather than simply passing the issue to the delivery company.

Fortunately, I paid by credit card and was therefore able to stop the payment and recover my money. Had I paid by debit card, I am not confident that the matter would have been resolved as easily.

Overall, a very disappointing experience and one that has seriously undermined my confidence in PTW.

Ordered a Bosch cordless combi drill. Price seemed the best I could find anywhere. Ordered after 5pm so really didn’t expect it to arrive the next day, but it did, in the morning. Impressive!

I placed an order with this company for two items. The order was delivered to the wrong address. The order address comprised part of my address and part of a shop address. The order was delivered to a shop address that partly matched the critieria and the courier sent confirmation. I then contacted power tool world. They weren't prepared to help as they said the error was mine. I have place 100's of online orders and have had no problems before. It actually isn't possible with online systems to enter to partial address's as it wouldn't match with address data on the system and therefore wouldn't be accepted as an accurate deliver address. Some of the details for the second address were correct including the post code. There is no possible way I could have known the details to enter them in the first place. The delivery address is over 60 miles away. The error therefore is with their online ordering system. They are totally unwilling to offer any help with this situation. They only say there isn't a problem with their systems although haven't provided any proof. They were unwilling to contact the courier or the place where the order was delivered. I have contacted the courier but they say they are unable to do anything unless power tool world contact them as their contract is with them. I accept that this wasn't done on purpose but again there is no way I could have known those address details to input them in the first place. So power tool world have my money and random person has my items and I'm left with nothing!! I absolutely wouldn't use this company again. If anything goes wrong with an order you place with them they absolutely aren't interested in helping you.

I’m extremely disappointed with this company’s lack of professionalism. My order was delayed for weeks with no proper communication, and every promise made was broken. Madison assured me the item would be delivered and even offered a refund of the delivery fee as an apology — something she suggested, not me. She also promised to send a confirmation email when the item left the warehouse. None of that ever happened.After 18–19 days of delays, broken promises, and zero follow‑through, I can confidently say this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Definitely not recommended.

Hi there I am disappointed for second time you I got the replacement gun so Framing Gun DCN930 one nail shoot and the same problem like the previous framing gun so it is working but does not fire does not shoot

Powertool world never recommend you as very difficult to communicate with you even by email and phone calls you was unhelpful as is not my problem but is your problem I spent alot money and you was telling me every day different story as I do not know etc

Power Tool World are Okay but Milwaukee’s sizing is a little on the shy side so need to send it back

As ever with Power Tool World they have a fantastic range of quality power tools . The price was very competitive and once again the item was delivered well boxed and delivery was as promised.

I bought a Makita angle grinder. So not only did they give the best price, the delivery came the following day, so I don't think I could buy similar at a shop and get it that quick.
This is the second time I have bought from here, and if I need something else there will be a third

I waited in three times - they failed to deliver (admitted they tried to deliver to the wrong place) and sent the item back to the warehouse. I was asked if I wanted it sent out again or a refund: I asked for it to be sent out again, so they ignored my request and sent me a credit, but deducted the delivery charge and a further charge for re-stocking. I have had to fight to get the delivery charge refunded (which they eventually did) and then the re-stocking charge (which they said they'd do, then claimed they could not do, then managed to do when I kicked up a fuss). They have refused compensation for wasting my time - waiting in and numerous emails trying to find out why the deliveries were failing, getting [3 separate] refunds. When companies mess up like this they should admit it and pay up without a fight. Unprofessional. Charlatans. Nasty.
