I was expecting a package delivered from the UK (paid custom tax too) that requred my signature when delivered. I was not at home at the time of delivery but I thought that package will be delivered to nearest pick up point (as usual). How wrong I was. When I arrived home from work, I found my package next to my house between bin containers. Also received an email that my package has been delivered with the photo of signature which is definitely not mine. How is that possible???
Is post.nl forging the customers's signatures now? Unbelievable.

I don’t think they have ever delivered a parcel on the promised by date. Whenever I place an order somewhere and get the message It will be handled by post.nl, I already regret my purchase. Please just go out of business already and let competent companies handle the deliveries

Today (May 22, 2026), I received a package from Amazon that, according to the email, I was supposed to receive starting May 27, 2026. However, this package (the one I received today) has a tracking number for another package from AliExpress (which was also intended for me).
Now both AliExpress and PostNL claim I received the package from AliExpress.
PostNL doesn't know where my AliExpress package is.
Now I'm waiting for an email from PostNL within 24 hours. And of course, they won't do anything over this long weekend.
If this problem is resolved, I'm willing to give them a higher rating. But not now.
Correction:
I did not get any emails from PostNL. However, the parcel from AliExpress was delivered the next morning ( 23 May 2026). Rating adjusted from 1 to 4.

Rating: 1/10 – Absolute disgrace
I am beyond frustrated with PostNL. My shipment has been stuck in the middle of transit for 80 days now, with zero updates or explanations. Not a single scan, no estimated delivery, nothing. It’s like the parcel has vanished into a black hole.
What makes it infinitely worse is the complete lack of customer support. There is no way to reach a real person – phone lines are automated dead ends, chat bots go in circles, and emails get ignored or bounce back with generic, useless replies. You simply cannot get any answers, let alone a solution.
Eighty days is unacceptable for any shipping service. Holding onto a customer’s property without communication is outright negligent. PostNL clearly does not care about its customers or the parcels entrusted to them. If you want your items to arrive (or even to be able to ask about them), avoid this company at all costs. They have failed at the most basic job of a logistics provider. Shameful.

Very poor delivery experience. The delivery driver did not ring the doorbell and simply left the parcel outside in front of the door. This is not acceptable, especially for packages that could easily be stolen or damaged. I was at home at the time and would have preferred proper delivery service or at least a notification. Fortunately, I have a security camera that clearly shows the delivery was left without ringing the bell. I hope future deliveries are handled more carefully and professionally.
Delivered 169km from the pickup point
Order delivered in 2 parts 169km apart and just a message that I can pick it up. No contact, nothing. Highest level of incompetence- avoid!

This courier is getting very annoying, I have an account, I select my home address for deliveries.
But they decide every time where to place my package.
I select a specific delivery point, they decide with a new delivery address, it's pathetic that you decide where to pick up our parcels.

Missing post that clearly is shown in my app 3 times in a row I've had my post stolen on route from the sorting center Rotterdam , neighbours parcels are just left on the doorstep because they are too lazy to walk up a flight of stairs . The postnl has gone down hill
False “not at home” message again
I am extremely disappointed with PostNL delivery service in postcode area 3073 KM Rotterdam.
Tonight was my girlfriend’s birthday, and I ordered something important for her. I made sure the order would arrive today. PostNL emailed me that the package would be delivered between 15:55 and 17:55, so I stayed home and waited for it.
I can provide the Track & Trace number privately to PostNL if needed.
I was literally at home the whole time, watching the street through the window. Nobody rang the bell. Nobody came to the door. I did not see any real delivery attempt.
Then I suddenly received a message saying they could not reach me and that the package would be delivered to a PostNL point tomorrow.
This is simply not true. I was home. I was waiting. There was no delivery attempt.
The worst part is that this is not the first time this has happened in this postcode area. It feels like it is becoming normal that the driver does not properly try to deliver and just marks the customer as “not at home”.
Because of this, my girlfriend’s birthday surprise was ruined. giving a false “not at home” message when the customer is clearly home is unacceptable.
PostNL needs to seriously investigate delivery behaviour in this area and stop this from happening again.
Having used PostNL privately and professionally...
Having used PostNL over the years both privately and professionally, I can honestly say that the quality of their service is one of the worst in the industry when it comes to delivery.
Their failure to meet deadlines, not just during the busy periods, is a constant frustration. Giving packages to random neighbors without any note, adding days and weeks to a delivery time, using parcel pickup points that are not even close. These are just some of the issues we have dealt with. I know that adding this review will not help due to the fact that they already have a 1 star review but I really wish companies will stop using them as their chosen carrier just as I have with my own business so that packages can move at the speed which is required in todays world of ecommerce.
Worst delivery company
Unfortunately, I can’t give zero stars, so one star will have to do. The delivery service is extremely unprofessional. Almost every time I see that my package is being handled, I expect something to go wrong. Packages are often marked as delivered when they haven’t arrived, sometimes they go missing altogether, and deliveries frequently fail to meet the timeframe they set themselves. Overall, I’ve had consistently negative experiences and have nothing positive to say about this company.

Packages arrive busted
Hi,
Why do my packages systematically arrive busted? I was discreetly watching the PostNL delivery guy when he arrived today, and saw him toss my package without any care.
My package, on top of that, had a hole in it big enough to be able to access its contents with a hand. And suprise-surpise… The content inside the package, I discovered when unpacking, had indeed been opened.
