I would highly recommend this company. The service overall has been amazing.

Ordered 12" heavy duty table saw and it was delivered next day. Unfortunately it was damaged by courier. They sent out free of charge replacement instantly and arranged for collection damaged unit.

I have found in past a lot companies run a mile when there are issues but this has been joyful experience with great back up.

If I need anymore machinery I will be calling Poolewood.

I needed a framers tab gun and these guys had the best price available. All arrived safe and sound. The tab gun works great 👍

Bought a Charnwood 629 Table Saw as it was the best price I could find. Poolewood called me about delivery and then emailed me later in the day. The saw came direct from Charnwood and was held up in transit. I emailed Poolewood and they responded very quickly. Delivery would have been two days if it wasn't delayed by the courier. Can't fault the service from Poolewood.

I have got my item, tried it, everything is ok...Thank you.

I recently ordered a Charnwood W583 planer thicknesser, unfortunately it arrived with scratched indeed and outfield tables and a bent dust chute, also no up to date handbook. The base is made of very thin metal and only just strong enough. Plugging it in I found the cable to be very short and the depth gauge pointer is difficult to read as there is a big gap from the scale so unless you bend right down there is a parallax error, oh well. Slightly deterred I tried to bolt the fence on and when trying to set it to 90degrees found it to be bowed, in both directions... also the if you can get a flat fence the 90degree adjustment stop bolt is very inaccessible. When fitting the fence and turning on the cutters then touch the fence and cut into it...damaging the blades. I also submitted this review to Charnwood but they refuse put it on their website! They finally said they couldn't put it up because I had said the base was flimsy. I would not call this a "trade" machine, I think it is more hobby and even then frustrating to use for accurate work. I was promised a call back from an engineer regarding the blades cutting into the fence but this still hasn't happened and returning the machine seems to be very difficult to organise with, as yet, no response to my email request. It seems very unfair, when a machine is genuinely faulty to just ignore the problems.
Just a quick update, it is now August and after little use the machine now vibrates heavily and feels if it may explode...it is not far off unusable and I have had no luck getting in touch with the Charnwood engineer or Poolewood.
Finally got a call back from the Charnwood engineer who was unable to tell me how to repair it... so I took the cover off and found that one of the drive belts had frayed and was causing the vibration. Dave the engineer promised to phone back this morning, no call back so..I called him, he'd been busy unloading a container, too busy for customer service! No offer of replacement belts, surely drive belts should last longer than a few months. What will go wrong next with this "trade rated" machine and absolutely no help from Poolewood or Charnwood, I would give a negative star rating if it was possible.

Good quality fence delivered next day. Prefer it to the Axminster upgrade. Took approximately 3 minutes to install.

Fantastic service! I sent Ian at Poolewood an email when my item hadn't arrived in the expected time, and he had no hesitation sending another as we both thought the item was lost in the post.

I've since received the first item sent - it was just Royal Mail being slow - and will be happy to return the second package back to Poolewood, but was very happy with their help to resolve the matter even though it was just my impatience!

Product exactly as described at a good price with swift delivery.

Excellent service

I bought this item in December 2020. It was delivered on a pallet three days later. Brilliant. Bought for one specific job which I could not get any so called professionals to do. (Too difficult!) Job - 20x12mm x 200mm deep holes in 30mm thick floating display shelves. Drill was accurate, stable and adequately adjustable.
