Went online to get home insurance; filled in details, got quote, accepted it, paid and Hey Presto! I have home insurance - took about 40 minutes. So straightforward I couldn't quite believe it!

This company jst tried to scam me, making rules up to sqeeze more money out of me.
Apparently!!!.. private, off road parking can be twisted into roadside parking.. because i havnt got a designated parking bay!!!..
This insurance company are employing people to pick over your policy.. then making rules up to increase your policy free.. then charged me for cancelling the policy.. even tho i am well within the cooling off period.. shocking

The whole process was very quick easy

Easy to navigate system. Clear information. Fair price (cheaper than existing insurer). Emails providing confirmation, information, timely. So far so good.

This is one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with. I have just found out today that I my house and contents have not been insured for the past 7 years !!!!!!!. They took my money every month though, criminal is all I can say. We put a claim in, our first ever claim with them, after months and months of never replying to e mails, being brushed off with "someone will telephomne u back in 48 hours" and then never did. Ultimately after phoning them again to chase this claim, they tell me, oh u are not insured and never have been. The senior member of staff who we finally got to talk to was rude, uncaring and not interested in how serious this situation was. I could go on and on telling everyone how bad this company is and having just read the insurance trade body reviewing their claim process, I was not surprised to find they were at the very bottom in the league table.
I had to give them 1 star but if I had my choice I would give them no star, they are a bunch of incompetent, unprofessional idiots. Be warned do not trust this company with your home and contents, they are beyond bad!!!. BE WARNED

Great quick service and prices are great

I FOUND IT EASY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE POLICY CONTAINED, AND THE EASE OF PAYING.

Everything was so straight forward and took 5 min instead of the usual half hour to an hour . Very easy to understand and great deal .

The price was right for the level of service i required. The sign up was straight forward.

The rear extension suffered with subsidence a couple of years ago. My household insurers made the claim fairly easy to navigate. Though a long drawn out conclusion( no fault of the insurers) more getting the numerous contractors to fit into their workload the various inspections needed.
I have remained with Policy Expert so that speaks volumes.

Everything was easy and one question asked was answered very happy with the service.

The lady at the UK Call Centre was incredibly helpful, patient and friendly, all matters were resolved confidently. Stress levels reduced. I had no problem paying a small charge for the additional Call Centre Service, I still have a very competitive deal
