We are happy with the quality of the sauna we purchased as well as with the service and communication that we maintaned with Natalia Korecka. She kept us informed at all time regarding the shipping.

We bought a Paavoo sauna with an electrical heater, including assembly of the sauna about 18 months ago.

The first half year all was well, then we noticed cracks in the boards between the anteroom and the sauna room itself. We complained to the company, they did not want to do anything. It seemed to me that the boards had dried a bit out, but could not settle down on each other because of a construction error.

Some time later, the heater-oven began to shut down after 1-2 hours of work, so we had to keep turning it on.

Latest, we are experiencing a draft in the sauna itself, and we cannot get in any warmer than 65-68 celcius. That is not what a sauna should be like. We like around 90 celcius, which we could reach when it was newly installed. It should be noted that this is with an outside temperature of around plus 10 celcius.

We complained about this around 3 weeks ago on the company´s site, with now answer.

A bad and faulty product, and very bad customer service.

I ordered the factory made Selvik Bastu from Polhus. When it arrived (from Estonia), it has major damage to it, including smashed front wood panels, part of the roof missing and tree parts still stuck in it. The driver had clearly hit a tree on the trip. The driver didn't even mention anything, when I asked him he just said "problem, don't worry they fix it" No apology. I spoke with Polhus customer service the next day, who seemed very helpful and said I could either get it repaired, which would take ages, or they will replace it with a new one from the factory. It's now been a month since it was delivered broken and I don't even have a date for the new delivery, despite chasing numerous times. The website states 4-6 weeks for a new order today, so clearly they've made absolutely no attempt to prioritize. I told them we had building work starting today and the sauna needed to be in place before as the lorry wouldn't be able to deliver. No response on that. It's a shame as the product looked good, but I would absolutely not recommend using them as if something goes wrong, the response is deeply unimpressive.

Update- replacement sauna arrived 6 weeks after the first broken one. The roof covering was heavily damaged and hanging off. It's now been 5 weeks since then and still no idea when they'll get it fixed. Honestly one of the worst companies i've ever dealt with- they couldn't care less about their customers. AVOID.

We Purchased the round barrel sauna and we couldn't be happier, The delivery arrangement's was easy and the installation communication was great, The team went above and beyond as my area was not ready for them as I was unwell the weekend I was suppose to be preparing the base area, this was no issue they moved everything picked up additional materials to ensure they could push on with the installation and they were very friendly chaps.

All in all i have a very pretty looking sauna now that I already love using, thanks to everyone involved.

The quality of the kit is excellent and the build straightforward. Once finished the sauna looks wonderful. Any issues or queries were dealt with in a very professional manner.
