A terrible platform
A terrible platform that makes you questions whether it's legitimate.
After spending big money to purchase a product (the collector's edition of a game), only then they said they are out of stock.
If you can't provide sufficient stock, then don't make the false advertising of it.
They said they will refund my money, but I haven't heard from them for several days.
I attempt to contact them. Despite claiming responses won't take more than 24 hours, it has already been more than that and I still haven't receive a single response.
It's definitely not within weekends, so it is not an excuse for this poor and slow customer service.

It works, but don't buy if you want things fast
Bought a $150 Nintendo eShop Card, they kept my order "On Hold" for 4 days (for no reason, since this is a digital purchase), and I missed the opportunity to buy some games on sale.
Customer support is super slow to answer, it took 2 days between each message.

Scammers
I have been using their website for many years but sadly I will never use them anymore. I have spent around $20,000 and sometimes I get incorrect codes. But they never appreciate how much I have spent on their website. I provide the proof they need that the code is incorrect but they always ask me to go above and beyond to prove it to them. In the past week they have scammed me out of $150. Do not buy from them.

Damaged item after 3 months delay + terrible customer service
I ordered the Cosmic Princess Kaguya Official Guide Book for Rp 740.260. The package took nearly 3 months to arrive. When it finally came, the book had visible dents and creases on the spine.
I provided unboxing video + multiple photos as proof. Instead of a proper solution, Playasia repeatedly lowballed me with $3 → $10 → $15 store credit. They kept delaying with “we’re escalating” messages but never gave a fair resolution.
When I asked for full refund without return, they refused and wanted me to pay return shipping myself.
Very poor experience. Bad packaging, extremely slow shipping, and unhelpful customer service. I will never buy from Playasia again.

As stated in our Return & Refund Policy (Section B (https://www.play-asia.com/en/info/helprefund), damage caused during shipping is not covered under our warranty and is therefore not eligible for a return or refund.
As a gesture of goodwill, we offered a compensation of USD 15, which is approximately half of the product's purchase price.
As we understand that you have declined this resolution, the remaining option we can offer is for you to return the item to us for a refund of the product cost. However, since the reported issue is considered minor shipping damage, the return shipping costs would need to be covered by your end.
We are truly sorry that this resolution did not meet your expectations. While we understand your frustration, we hope you can appreciate that we must handle all claims in accordance with our policies while also trying to provide a goodwill solution whenever possible.
