Pimlico plumbers and all the services they provide are so fast and reliable that even if pricey, are the most reliable services in general. On this particular occasion (as we've used them for so many things) Danny has dealt with a wasp nest in our garden room quickly and efficiently and has explained what he did and how to follow up if needs be.

Paid the call out fee but got completely the wrong advice from someone who is clearly not qualified. I ended up figuring out the issue myself and I have no formal training whatsoever. Rip off!

The person who came to unblock my toilet drainage pipe was considerate, polite, hard working and kept me well informed of everything he was doing and gave several recommendations as to how to prevent the problem reoccurring. I first got told that someone will arrive 12 and will receive a phone call once they’re on their way - it’s now 11:55, nothing. Then I called and queued for 10 mins on the phone - said it’ll now be 2:00-2:30 and will keep me posted. It’s now 2:33, still nothing. I called again, said appointed me another engineer, he’ll be there before 3:30. It’s now 3:30 and I’m waiting this review.

I am extremely disappointed with the service received. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of thoroughness and poor communication experienced across multiple expensive visits.
Following a power cut, our boiler displayed an error code and we had no hot water. The first engineer stayed less than ten minutes, made a minor adjustment, and left without testing the hot water. The issue persisted immediately.
A second visit resulted in a more thorough inspection but no resolution, as the engineer claimed it was too late to consult the manufacturer or source parts. Throughout this process, communication was unprofessional; we were never proactively updated on significant delays and encountered dismissive staff who provided inaccurate information regarding appointment times.
Ultimately, it took three paid visits for an engineer to finally identify that a new boiler was necessary—a conclusion that should have been reached during the initial inspection had it been performed correctly. We were left without hot water for nearly three weeks due to these avoidable diagnostic failures. While we eventually proceeded with a replacement to resolve the situation, the overall level of service and customer care was unacceptable.

I have had various jobs done by pimlico plumbers and on all occasions they have done a great job and when I had an issued with a job that had been done they made the appointment quickly and I wasnt charged any extra. Also
the fact that they send the same plumber I think is great. So while everything i said here is true I now have a much bigger issue that never existed before all the last time the plumber came he added a part in order to stop the gurgling in the bath and sink and now the gurgling has gone but the water is now coming up through the bath plug hole when using the sink, I have been informed they want hundreds of pounds to fix this.. I dont think this is reasonable consideration this problem wasnt there before they carried out the various jobs that already cost me alot so I will not be using them again.

As it happened no problems arose either due to inconvenience or identification but an elderly or vulnerable person ( I am 70 but fit) might need that reassurance. However the visit itself and the skills shown by David were excellent.

We decided to give Pimlico another chance after previous poor experience. The booking went well and our plumber was prompt, polite, personable and kept us informed when problems occurred. We are pleased with the finished job. The downside is that the updated accounts system provides very inadequate information to the customer. It took 4 days and three chasers before the detailed information I requested was provided. One reasons we chose Pimlico was that there is a back office to deal with the admin and problems and this is reflected in the charges. If this part of the organisation doesn’t perform it raises questions of value for money.
