Terrible app

Terrible app, will not allow me to amend a car registration. Just keeps doing the circle of doom and doesn’t update details.

Is Phoneandpay dead?

While checking that all my parking apps are working I found that the Phoneandpay iOS App returns an error on loading and does not connect. Further investigation it seems that the App has been removed from both Apple and Google stores, and much of the website doesn't work.

Bad software, poor signage, but prompt dept collection

Tried to pay for the £1 parking charge. Managed to register my bank card eventually, but on the next call it wouldn't accept my card. Tried multiple times, then gave up. A week later received a PCN for £100 from CE-Enforcement. Bad software, poor signage at the car park and very prompt debt collection. :-(

Paid twice

The app used to be OK, but now will not connect to the bank for approval so you are not sure if the payment has gone through. You then buy a paper ticket only to find out 2 hours later that the payment went through. So you end up paying twice. So many better parking apps it's a shame local authorities still use this one.

The app is a joke

The app is a joke. I thought I paid £5.50 and still end up with a parking ticket. Advice to company get taken over by Ringo or just use their software.

The worst Parking App ever

The worst Parking App ever! Although I have used it before and not for a long time today at King Georges Brentwood I had to log in again. However I couldn’t remember my password. The text came through but impossible to memorise the code. I then sent the second attempt as a message to myself so I could copy it. My payment card had run out so had to add it again and this meant registering all details. Eventually after 40 minutes I managed to pay for parking. Why this App doesn’t allow Apple Pay like others is a shame. I’m pretty used to using phone apps so surely they can improve this one? Why not just send a 6 digit code as text?

Crooks at Best…

This app & parking company have deliberately made the payment options ridiculously difficult. I have now after about 45 minutes at home registered a card for payment. I will avoid parking here when ever possible

Rubbish. I have had to re-entered my details…

I have had to re-entered my details into this App 6 times in 12 months. I have emailed them about the App problems 4 times and spoken on the phone. It is a a timely and difficult process and I have now emailed them to confirm that I will only pay for parking when they confirm to me that the problem has been addressed.

SCAM!

SCAM!
If you see a parking area using this app, go park somewhere else. The app is awful, and if you manage to pay for your parking, will still more than likely get a parking ticket for £100. You can appeal as much as you want, they will not accept it. How this app is still able to be up and running while stealing money from hard working people is beyond me. Absolute Joke, absolute scammers, STAY AWAY

Ridiculous app

Ridiculously difficult to pay for parking. Just to say I have a variety of parking apps and they’re all very straightforward to set up. This one isn’t, even in the comfort of my home with a coffee. I’ve just had yet another go at it (probably my 3rd or 4th) and have given up. Other options for paying are equally frustrating. Life’s too short. I’ll park elsewhere.

Trying to enter a new credit card

I haven't yet parked but will do so soon. Thought I should enter my payment details in advance to be ready. What a shambolic system. Seems I need a location code to enter a new payment card. Why should this be necessary? Can I find any location code anywhere to use for this purpose? Seemingly not. Why not? All this after registering for the account and getting a temporary password with 10 characters, four of which were different special characters, two numbers, four letters one of which was a capital and you have to enter all this in twice to register. Company seems to make it as difficult as possible to use their system and unnecessarily so .... unless there is an ulterior motive at work here.

Unscrupulous theives

Theiving, extortionate, corrupt company. Very very simple. Their app doesn't work. We used a car park daily as we have a business located nearby. I have had many tickets cancelled by the owner of the property but many tickets outstanding very simply because the app doesn't work. Unscrupulous and greedy. Now we have a ccj because this corrupt company refuses to listen. If you actually manage to get to speak to someone after days of effort, you are told they can't do anything. It's private parking and subject to certain laws. But they don't apply to this company. Needs to be closed down.

Corrupted money grabbing company

Absolutely discussed with this company.
It took us 36 minutes to buy a parking ticket via the app. So we rang the help phone line 4 times, an automated voice answered, then hung up on us each time with no help at all.
With my partner in the car park trying to buy a ticket, I drove out to see if I could find a better mobile signal, as we thought that may have been the cause of the issue with the app. After I wasn't successful in purchasing a ticket I returned to my partner.
36 minutes later from first arriving at the car park we obtained a parking ticket.
This was extremely stressful and put a real negative impact on our family day to the beach.
We then received a £100 fine in the post, for driving out of the park.
We explained the situation and sent lots of evidence to back it up. But they were not interested. I'm absolutely discussed with this company, all they are interested in taking as much money as they can off you.
Also as you can see from 93% negativity feed back, how bad they are as well as the app.

App & phone options are ridiculous and do not work!!!

My father had called me as he was unable to pay via call or the app. I have then proceeded to take over an hour attempting to, to no avail. Firstly, I have not used the app for well over a year, I have a new phone and most probably a new card. I would like to know why a ridiculous password, which includes symbols (something I have never seen before) was sent to me, inputted correctly and sent to the next page for me to have to type the same password in and my new password & confirmed new password (both matching may I add) for me to be told incorrect password. I then somehow exit and am allowed back on the app and it has advanced to allowing me to input location 4720 and I am getting an error message. I then attempt to call the number and proceed with instructions. I click the option to change vehicle details and state them, hear it back and it is correct and then proceed. I am then told that details are incorrect and I need to state the last 4 digits of my card… there was no prior mention to payment. Called and tried 5 times. The time I have taken to try this and not be able to pay is an utter joke. I have a screenshot of the error & a video recording of the abysmal call - FYI

The app is absolutely awful..tried and tried....finally let me punched in credit card details and got confirmation of my payment...

I got a confirmation of my payment going through and my friend standing next to me told me to immediately do a screenshot....which I did...

We went for cinema...came bk to see a parking charge...

I tried to look for receipt in my email..

Nothing....

When I looked at my screenshot....I realised there's another confirm and pay button at the bottom!!

That means the payment didn't go through...

Several ppl here fell into the same trap here..
I think the app developer should be fired....awful app!!

Now I need to pay for 25 parking charge...not fair!!!
