What a blessing to have found Pet Moves. We have a very timid cat and had to move her from the US to the UK and really didn't want to risk putting her in the hold for any duration. Barry Humphreys provided invaluable guidance to help us plan the overall trip. Barry's son, Ed, then met us on time (excellent communication) and was considerate and knowledgeable. The whole experience was first class and Cassie was unstressed. I would also recommend the use of the pheromone spray (in moderation) Feliway. I think it worked for us.

My husband and I recently relocated to London for my work. We knew we didn’t want to make the trip without our 10 year old chihuahua mix but she couldn’t travel in the hold. When we found we could travel through Paris we started contemplating just how we’d get from Paris to London with all our luggage and pup after being jet lagged and still not quite sure about the paperwork process. We are so glad we chose Pet Moves! Barry and Edward were extremely communicative in the days leading up to and through our journey. It was so nice to have someone to help guide us through the border with extra comfort touches along the way. Edward was extremely considerate and friendly. We would highly recommend Pet Moves to anyone looking to make the journey with their pets. They really do treat your pets like their own.

Pet Moves was critical in helping me figure out how to and execute on a move from Japan to UK with my small dog. If you are seeking a service to help reduce the stress of moving countries with your pet, I highly recommend using Pet Moves. After going through the experience, I am so grateful of Barry's expertise and his team's hospitality, and fully realize they are worth the price as it includes: expert consultation, paperwork review, seamless transportation, and connections.
Throughout the moving process, Barry answered my questions and explained his reasoning, made logical suggestions, and even maintained professionalism when I was being a little unpleasant (sorry Barry).
To my surprise, all of Barry's recommendations were accurate and everything went as he said, proving he really knows his craft. In addition to this, our driver, Edward, was an absolute pleasure to be around, which made our travel experience enjoyable. Edward's ability to relate to us and handle all paperwork set the tone for stress-free arrival. He even helped us with all our bags!

Travelling with your beloved pet cross border is not simple. Nor straightforward. There is a lot of paperwork and deadlines you need to meet. That's why Barry was so important in our relocation, he helped clear up any doubts and knew the process inside out. He was on hand to guide us as needed with importing our dog into the UK from the US via France.

He picked us up from Orly Airport in a really nice vehicle, and drove us for 4 hours to Calais (w Pup breaks) before aiding the Immigration and Pet Reception process. Before we knew it we were in the UK! I'd highly recommend Barrry and Pet Moves for any relocation of pets you need to do.

I am so grateful to have found Pet Moves! My husband and I used their services to take our dog into the UK from France while traveling from the US. Our voyage from the US to the UK via ship was canceled a few days before we were due to set sail so we were scrambling last minute to try and find new accommodations to enter the UK. Even though we booked less than two weeks before, we received top notch service from start to finish. Barry reviewed our documents before we left the US to make sure all of papers were correct, he updated us with every COVID rule change due to Omicron surging, and was right there when we walked through the doors at CDG despite our flight from New York being delayed. Once on the road, we felt totally safe and comfortable for the remainder of the journey. They have the route down to a science with a stop just a few short minutes from the airport to let your dog go to the bathroom after a long flight and another halfway stop with a lovely nature area to let your pet stretch their legs. Our dog Gus was able to relax and sit on the seat next to us while all of our many bags fit inside the large passenger van. Before getting to our hotel, Barry offered to make extra stops in case we needed to pick anything up and gave us some wonderful information/history on the area!

I cannot emphasize this enough - it is clear that Pet Moves (and Barry) truly care about you and your pet. That is something that you can't pay for or purchase, but a genuine kindness that they bring to your experience. Thank you so much!

Not only do Barry and Edward take all the stressors off travelling with your pets, they turn it into an absolute pleasure.
You can sit back and relax knowing all the little details are covered.
After 19hrs of flying to Paris we were anxious about the logistics and drive to London. We need not have been.
There were plenty of stops for the dogs and owners alike.
Flexipass for the Eurotunnel is 100% the best option, as were the complimentary coffees and snacks in Calais.
We’ve recommend Petmoves to all our friends already - please don't think twice.

I would recommend PetMoves to anyone moving with their fur babies. There were rest stops along the way from France to England, and even a litter box in the roomy, comfortable van.

🥰Bespoke service! We were relocating our 2 maine coon kittens from Estonia to London, UK. The trip from Paris to London was nice, hassle-free, kitties were calm. Spacious van. Barry thoughtfully prepared a travel litter box in the van for extra comfort. Throughout our trip Roquefort was sleeping almost all the time. Quasar went exploring and loved the VIP place on the windowsill. Thank you, Barry!

Our relocation from SF to UK with our two cats was so smooth thanks to Barry's help beforehand and Edward's impeccable driving.

Barry was very helpful in figuring out exactly what forms we needed (I wasn't sure if we needed health certificates for the UK and for France or just for the UK). The fact that they are constantly doing this trip means they know all the ins and outs of the process from which specific forms you need to what's the best snack option at the train stop.

We had a bit of a bathroom accident in the plane (our cat took a substantial dump in her carrier), and we were worried about our other cat would do the same, and Barry and Edward bent over backwards to make sure we could get a litter box in the car (which she used! poop crisis averted). Edward even took us to a pet store in the UK so we could pick up a litter box for the apartment so we could get settled in straight-away without needing to run out.

Love love love pet moves this was my second time using this company Edward is such a gentleman and Barry promptly answered all my emails with any concerns I’m so grateful to them and would not hesitate to use their services again

We are so happy that we found this service. Being in a powered wheelchair it was a great relief to us that Barry agreed to not only help us get our pets and us to Nottingham but also my monster of wheelchair.
Pet moves made the whole process very smooth. Right down to ensuring that all the paperwork was in order to keeping in contact prior to our pick up in France.
The dogs settled into the van and really appreciated all of the comfort stops, for that matter so did we.
Barry went over and above to ensure both us and the dogs were comfortable.
For peace of mind being able to bring our dogs on a long flight from the US to the UK in cabin with us was well worth every penny the service cost.

Working with PetMoves helped make the most stressful part of our international move as smooth as it could be. We wanted to take our two cats with us to the UK but didn’t want to put them in luggage on the plane and were daunted by all the paperwork that the UK government requires. Barry really took all the worry out of this process for us. He answered all our logistical questions beforehand, and on the day we arrived in France, took us right to England without a hitch. Barry guided us through our move from the USA to the UK via Paris with our two dogs (4yrs and 14yrs). Not only were they helpful with their pre-departure info and organisation (always happy to answer questions) but the planning resulted in a smooth arrival and collection in Paris and journey into the UK and up to North London. Barry from petmoves.com was extremely helpful. We needed a way to transport our pets from the U.S to England without putting them in the hold. Because of UK policy flying to France first was the best option. Then having pet moves transport us to London. Barry was very quick to respond to email to answer our questions and helped with every step of the process. I would highly recommend using thier service.

Pet Moves helped us relocate our one year old Dackel Maple (and a lot of luggage) from Berlin to London by managing the part from Paris into the UK. Putting Maple in the airplane hold was not an option for us so it was great to find Barry and Edward to drive us over the line in comfort.

They were very supportive and flexible when we had travel date complications and of course very friendly. Edward met us right on time and was lovely company through the quick three hours drive into Folkestone. This small family run business is a great service to ensure the welfare of pets when travelling into the UK!

Good service, but super pricy and we were very worried the driver would fall asleep. It was a long day for us, but driver was clearly tired. I stayed awake so I could chat with him to make sure he was awake. I suggested we stop for the rest room and bought the driver a coffee so we could make it to Oxford safety. The rest of the trip was great, however it was very unsettling to have such a sleepy driver.

Barry was EXCEPTIONAL. I had so much anxiety doing this cross country move. His documentation was extremely thorough, and his pick up time was on the dot.
We had stop offs on the way where my pup was able to go for a walk, as well as somewhere my partner & I could use the bathroom & tea etc.
I’m usually not one to “be bothered” to write reviews, but it truly was a fabulous service.
Oh and I also left my glasses in his car & he was kind enough to ship and post them to me the very next day :)
It’s nice to also interact with the person on email who will be driving you, that intimate connection of not liaising with someone from a customer service team makes the process feel even more comfortable, especially as we were all together in a car for hours! He made us feel very comfortable!!

Barry's son Edward did our pet move in July 2021. We were moving from France to the UK with our cat Lucy. He picked us up in a nice large volvo SUV and drove us smoothly and efficiently to the channel tunnel. He took care of all our cat & person check in and dropped us off in Dover at the other side. Couldnt recommend highly enough.

We were so stressed about how we were going to get our dog from Paris to the UK when we were relocating New York to London with our pup in the cabin.
So we were very relieved when we discovered PetMoves!
Barry was so helpful in the whole planning process answering my many questions & assisting in making sure we had everything ready paperwork wise for our fur baby!
Edward was waiting for us at CDG airport when we got outside & the journey was so quick & smooth!

Edward guided us in making sure we had all the relevant documents at the ready when needed when coming through the border controls which took any stress out of the journey too!

I couldn't be happier with the service we received from Edward! Moving internationally is incredibly stressful and not having to worry about driving from France to the UK with my two cats was a huge relief. There was new paperwork requirements needed at border control (effective the day we arrived, of course) and Edward and Barry were able to address everything over the phone and submit everything needed. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have them to rely on. I would HIGHLY recommend Pet Moves if you are moving internationally. I have ZERO regrets and would hire them again in a heart beat. :)
